Six years after season 6, Occupied Equestria presents an alternative history where Chrysalis chose a different approach to her second attack on Equestria. The Changelings have conquered half of Equestria, while a former Equestrian colony - soured to Princess Twilight's notion of harmony with all creatures thank to their dealing with griffins - Invaded and took the other half. In Baltimare and the Equestrian Southeast, the magic of friendship has weakened, as Communists, Changeling infiltrators, Fascists, gangs, and corrupt creepy politicians threaten the city. This role play is based in large part upon the Equestria at War mod for Hearts of Iron 4, and uses D&d 3.5e mechanics.
Ash and Iron seem to want to head out from the abbey. Dark Star was having a conversation with the rescued foals after doing community service. Silver is having a surprisingly friendly conversation with Blue Skies about politics. Spark is babysitting and Brie is supposed to be doing the same. Onyx is sleeping.

I'll go to bed early today. Have to wake up around the start of morning, maybe even around midnight. Night.
It's void time, ladies and gentlemen!
For this particular episode, we will focus on a stallion chained to a crippling curse that forces him to abandon society or risk losing his freedom and life.
Who is this stallion? What curse am I talking about? Will he survive? Those questions will be answered this Sunday 14:00 EST/16:00 ART, though beware, as only the braver, edgier viewers may stomach this stallion's poor fate and actions. I shall only give you a hint:
One's body cannot be controlled by his actions.
This is an elaborate attempt to ask if anyone's here, as well as introduce a character with an assumingly harsh weakness that may cause severe difficulties to establish himself in any civilized society.
>>90188Oh hey.
What dfaggyitating curse can you place on a living being without directly killing it? Curses like instant exhaustion and the like are barred off.
>>90189Right, forgot about that.
De-b-i-litating curse*
>>90187>crippling curse that forces him to abandon societyI can only imagine that he is no part of this campaign, which thus far has taken place almost exclusively within a dense urban area
>24 hour Nineteen Eighty-four clockIn America, we use 12 hour clocks exclusively
>>90191I know about your mode of clocks. It should be 4:00 PM ART/2:00 PM EST, iirc.
Curse itself could either be seen with dread or contempt. Simple 'If you don't do X willingly, you will turn into Y' kind of curse. I was thinking a super beefed up, massive hunk of an Earth Pony whose curse is to suddenly gain +8 to Str and Con and suffer -6 to all but Dex. Previous plan may have allowed him to be a PC but it was too focused on sex to be taken seriously, at least that's what I think atm.
He could be a boss on a cabin or forest, whose attacks are unarmed and grappling. Weakness is that he's slow as fuck and doesn't have any armor, but his HP should be quite beefed up with his Con stat.
>>90192Oh, forgot that he is overly aggressive as well, essentially attacking everything around him in a meduim-sized radius.
>>90191I only intend to stay in the Urban areas for as long as I need to.
>>90192That's a very well-written curse.
>Tfw no curses on spell list >>90191Hey GM, how would you go along with creating a curse?
>>90198Usually the spell you cast has outlines for what you can write.
Bestow curse is a third level spell. Greater Bestow Curse is 8th level. I think only Wizards and Clerics get those spells though.
I'm going through a little post-con depression at the moment, but I'll be better eventually>>90198Uh, sure? I just don't want anything obviously OP or would be unbelievably annoying in roleplay
>>90189I've got the beginnings of one you wouldn't be able to use for whatever ideas you've got going on in your head, but I'm having trouble figuring out what kind of benefit to give along with it so it's balanced.
Curse of Non-Violence: Any wounds you inflict on opponents in combat are also dealt back onto you, lowering your total hit points for a period of 24 hours after the wound has been initially inflicted. This damage cannot be healed during this 24 hour period, though normal wounds you sustain from opponents are not affected by this curse. After 24 hours are up, these wounds can heal like normal.
>>90201>Wouldn't be able to useI can use it for my bard, so there's that.
Of course, you should take a feat that either increases your 'get the fuck out of dodge' capacity aka feats that improve your AC or run speed or have some focus skill on a skill.
>>90200Nono, I wasn't asking to plant a curse right now on Iron. More like asking you what curse would you create if you had the chance.
>>90199Interesting. Do those spells have some flexibility on what they can do?
>>90073He leans back
"It sounds to me like you already know more about it than I do"
>>90075Blue skies smiles, and says "I can see where your cosmopolitan attitude from"
She moves closer, and sort of past Silver, carrying her cup of tea in hoof. She ends up in a position sort of behind Silver, or behind his head
"How did you feel about your father as your sole parent? Was he able to give you what you needed in childhood?"
>>90070>>90091The strange black pony creature with white-less blue eyes tilts its head and says
"Du willst Sex mit mir haben?"
>>90064Like what the fuck are those I don't even
>>90204*eye narowing intensifies*
"... It seems as though I may.." she replies, squinting through her long eyelashes.
>>90203Bestow curse and it's greater variety? Yes.
Geas/Quest also makes for one he'll of a curse.
>>90204Besides the benefit of not being able to see the results of Silver's most recent
activities, she once again gains a clearer view of the stripe Silver mentioned: a dark grey colored stripe of fur, running down his back along his spine, from his mane to his dock. Blue gets the feeling it's the same color as his mane and tail used to be before age gave them into a dull silver color.
Silver takes another sip of his own tea, almost finished with it now. "It depends, I suppose. For me, he provided just what I needed for my early life, but I do not doubt that my own experience cannot be extended to every individual. He certainly tried as hard as any single parent could, especially with balancing taking care of me and taking care of his smithy. As soon as I was big enough, he combined those two duties and apprenticed me. It was not too long after that I took interest in ways of sword and hammer, so he started to train me in these arts as well. It was thanks to these that he taught me responsibility, discipline, duty, and honor, all necessary qualities for warriors. Combined with my schooling, it all took up much of my time in day, but I did not care too much. Extent of his care for me was greater than this, of course, but these are what stood out most about my time with him. He was as much my teacher as he was my father."
>>90206He narrows his eyes right back at her
"You're not with the cops, are ya?"
>>90208Well, by "behind" I meant behind his head, so I think she'd have about as good a view as he has"So why are you a warrior and not a smith?"
>>90209"Because path of warrior is what called to me. And because I found my talent suited it more than it suited being blacksmith."
>>90209".. I am but a volunteer, doing my part. The authorities have seemed less than helpful in these matters."
>>90210"What is your talent, precisely?"
>>90211"What do you want?"
>>90212He turns to show Blue one of his flanks, and the cutie mark emblazoned upon it: a sword in the middle of a mighty downwards arc. "I am skilled at delivering mighty, crushing blows in combat by pouring my heart, my soul, my everything into one single strike. I do not know how much more precise I can get."
>>90212**Fug. That's a good question..**
>>90213She moved forward when Silver moved his flank to her. Her eyes widen
"I see..."
>>90215**Sorry if I'm about low performance. I've got a whole bunch of shit this weekend..**
**I don't want to give up on this one, but idk what to say atm.**
>>90216"I suppose it could also represent my affinity for blades over other weapons, or my skill in combat." He reaches a hoof back to give it a pat. "But I am not expert on talent marks."
>>90217>>90218Seriously, what was your plan for getting him before you went there?>>90219"Well, you should probably start washing yourself off.... again"
>>90221He nods after taking a look at the sticky white substance still plastered over his chest and abdomen. He finishes off the last of his tea and hoofs the empty glass back to her. "That is good idea. It should not take me long."
>>90224She giggles, and takes his glass of tea
>>90225He turns the bathwater back on, letting it fill the tub once again with warm water. "I do not suppose you have some kind of bath brush I could use?"
>>90226"Sure... Just a moment"
She opens the door to the shower, takes enough steps inside until only her tail is visible, and backs out carrying a full brush. Made of sort of plastic materials, given that most anything else would rot or corrode
"Here, you can use this"
>>90228Here goes nothing. If this turns into combat,
we'll stop it now.>>90212Iron clears his throat. "I know you were having a conversation with my client right now, but let me ask you something. How many times have the foal disbehaved in front of other ponies like myself?" He supposes that if he plant some seeds of doubt in Brooks' mind, Henhill will be let go of his training.
>>90229"There have been a few occasions suggesting his new found power is getting to him"
>>90230Iron nods. "As expected." He pokes his chin. "Do you think he would be absolutely loyal to you?"
>>90227Silver smiles and takes it. "Thank you. It would be difficult to get this out of my fur otherwise, I would think." He grabs a bottle of shampoo for his coat, and works it into his fur to loosen up the semen that's stuck in it. Once this has been done, he uses the brush to work it out.
>>90231"Well, that is the intent, yes. It is hard to say how that will pan out given that I have only been breaking him in for a month"
>>90232"You should probably run more water into the tub"
>>90233He looks, realizing his error. "Ah, right. Getting ahead of myself."
>>90233Iron raises an eyebrow. "And you think with simply using physical punishment you will obtain his loyalty? Do you not see that you are only creating reasons for him to betray you later on?"
>>90234"I'll go put these away..."
>>90235"It is discipline, just the same as a nun may smack a child with a ruler, a mother her child with her hoof, or a father may hit a child with a tree branch. He knows that there are benefits for good behavior as well."
>>90236He nods. "I will be here, cleaning myself...again."
>>90236"That is where the problem lies, Willow Brooks." Iron shakes his head. "A stallion cannot simply dish out discipline to another stallion's colt, because there is no natural respect that a father and his foal have." He points at Henhill while still looking at Brooks. "You should know that having resentful grunts will eventually lead to disaster, since they can be swayed to the enemy and will betray you if their rewards surpasses yours."
>>90237Aww, poor Silver
>>90238"Now why would he be resentful? Fatherless colts, after all, are the main source of our recruitment"
I'm sorry if I haven't been contributing, but I have to sleep.
>>90239Eh, it's not like he didn't know this would happen.Once the tub is properly filled, Silver resumes using the various shampoos, soaps, and bath tools to clean his coat and mane of filth and restore them to their previous, pristine state.
>>90239Damn, that puts my crops at risk."If they are your main source of recruitment, there are other gangs out there who do it as well, and may hand out a bigger reward in order for the colt to sabotage or even take you down." Iron shakes his head. "Like I said, there is no real respect between you and Henhill because you do not share the father and foal bond I mentioned, and is therefore a liability in the long run." Another chin poking session. "I do concede that all grunts may be liable to treason, but the simple fact that you are disciplining him physically is a massive danger to you and your business, and since power goes to his head, as you said, he will eventually take any chance to betray you if he gets rewarded better."
>>90241Blue Skies returns after some minutes, carrying another full glass of tea
"Do you need anything?"
>>90242I am completing a job application at the moment, so not fully able to respond intelligently I'll be heading off to bed. Goodnight.
>>90240I suggest you go to sleep too. We're going to discuss the worth of colt grunts.
>>90243Silver already looks much better, though he's not quite there yet. "I do not believe so. Where can I find towel for when I am done?"
>>90247That's a bit of an oversimplification, but whatever. Oh boe. What cooky, funky adventures does the bat, the plantation colt, the edgelord, the meat eating ex-bounty hunter, the fluffy, scaly horse and crystal hibernating deus ex machina will have today?
>>90254Bugsitting, masturbating in your friend's gf's bathtub, continuing to not talk to us, asking what the others are doing, preforming the daily rose-ries, and playing Bartending Simulator 96.
>>90255More like getting a hoof bitten off in the case of Brie and trying to convince a mademare to relinquish ownership of a child for Iron and Ash's case.
Everything else is true though.
I have to go for a bit, ironically enough.
Ask where the others are when you have to go. >>90256It wasn't bitten off, it was just bitten vigorously
>>90259Cuz anyone in the party gets all their wounds looked at?
>>90260When blood comes out, you know it's serious.
Besides, I always checked up on my wounds that drop my HP so far. Except unamred fights. >>90261I wasn't notified that it did damage, just that it drew blood
>>90263Then why have it looked at?
>>90264I suppose because it drew blood.
You don't really have to, though. >>90258Alright, I’ll comment on the nature of the wound. After Brie books Kerr, Ker thrusts his mouth forward to bite the hoof, and lands on the hoof at an odd angle, one fang stopped by the keratin of a hoof, the other sinking below fur but twisting and stopping as the other fang is stopped. Perhaps 1 HP damage and blood trickles.
Kerr backs away a few feet until his spongey tail touches the wall, then, pulls forward slightly
>>90249"Right there"
She points a hoof to a set of towels near the shower, and takes the initiative to place one near the bathtub, rather than suffer Silver to track water across the floor
Forgive me, how can Willow Brook be a "mademare" if he is a stallion?
Being sick sucks.>>90271Silver nods at her, thankful for her assistance. He starts to work on cleaning out his mane once he determines his coat is clean of ejaculate. "So, Iron and I will likely have rematch sometime soon, his hooves against me using wooden greatsword. I feel more confident in my ability to win in that situation."
>>90274She sighs, then looks Silver directly in the eyes
"Do you recall our agreement yesterday?"
>>90277...Thanks.He gives her a confused look, the memory of whatever this agreement was having since slipped away. "I am sorry, you will have to remind me of this agreement. I can not remember."
>>90278"The
books, Silver Sword, the books"
>>90279She can see the moment when that clicks in Silver's mind. "Oh, right,
that agreement! I was not sure if that was what you were referring to. No, I have not forgotten. Do not worry about that."
>>90280Gimme a break, I'm sick outta my mind, here. >>90282"I was thinking, in order to eliminate risk of other party members finding books before I get chance to, I will go alone with gas mask and small amount of Potions of Hide From Undead. It will give me time to explore and search for books without getting harassed either by other party members or by undead that still remain."
>>90283"Interesting. That might work."
>>90284Silver laughs at her response. "I certainly hope so. It is my ass that is on line if it does not." He grabs the luffa sponge, wets it, and puts some of the gel soap on it. He inadvertently gives Blue a bit of a show as he lifts one of his hindlegs and uses the luffa to clean off his genitals. "I do not suppose you would be willing to give me gas mask as operational expense? It is fine if you can not, I am merely asking as my own budget is starting to look little tight."
>>90285"We can spare a mask or two, yes. The ones kept around in case of a chemical attack won't necessarily work for Carbon Monoxide and Hydrogen Sulfide, but those made specially for firefighters, as well as some of the Naval and Aviation masks, probably will."
>>90286He gives her a smile. "Thank you." Silver continues washing himself for a few seconds more before he decides he's clean once again. As he wrings the luffa out, Blue can get a much deeper appreciation of just how much better ponies look when they aren't covered in semen.
I got my most important shit done, since I can be slightly less useless laterm today.
>>90287>>90287"Keep it up and you can be as pretty as me"
>>90290"If only we could all strive to be so." Silver starts to dry himself off with the towel Blue got him, his winter coat floofing up to rival Blue's own coat fluff. Not only does it hide many of the scars across his body, but it makes him look like he'd make for a soft and cuddly pillow. The wonders of Severyanan biology.
Is cleaning a plate a strength or dexterity check?
>>90291Maybe she’s not as floofy
>>90292Strength would break the plate
>>90293*shrugs*Silver steps out of the tub, once he's dried himself to the point where he won't drip on the floor, and, for the second time that day, he drains the bathwater. "I must say, I do not think I have enjoyed bathing like that in very long time."
>>90294Well, he doesn’t quite impale himself
>>90295“I don’t think I’ve ever seen a stallion with quite so much stored... fluid”
>>90296He lets out a snort before he replies. "...Maybe I was just little bit pent up. It was certainly of much higher quantity than I am used to. I doubt if I were to do it again I would be quite as 'productive' as this time."
>>90296I'd be more impressed if he did impale himself with a sponge to be honest.
>>90297Her ears flap down and her mouth wears an expression of concern. It appears in her mind she imagines something that causes deep discomfort to her snout
[1d20+3 = 13]>>90299Sense Motive: Silver gives her a confused, searching look, trying to find something in her face or eyes that will tell him exactly what could be causing Blue such distress.
>>90300>”Unless you are skilled with deepthroating, there is still threat of overflow coming out of your mouth and nose.”When Silver said that, she did not understand how semen running out through the nose would even be possible without strange exhalations. Now, she understands
>>90298Roll a 1
>>90301That is indeed a lewd and sinful thought. Hot, but sinful.>>90302His own snout wrinkles up sympathetically.
>>90304>>90302anything coming out of the nose that shouldn't is not a pleasant experience. Onyx cringes in sympathy, though he doesn't know exactly what for.>>90303I have come to decide that today 8=/=1
[1d20 = 3]>>90305Here, I'll roll for you so you don't have to do that again.
[1d20 = 2]>>90307One more time, fon fun's sake.
[1d20 = 4]>>90309You tried, so let me try again
>>90316Press F for the alternative timeline Skies that died drowning in cum
Today on brand new sentences....F
>>90314And thus Blue Skies was saved from an untimely demise by the Black Hooves' lack of a no-fraternization policy.
Silver, meanwhile, puts his clothes back on, leaving the top couple buttons on his fatigues unbuttoned to expose his glorious chest fluff for the whole world to see. "So...I remember you asked if I had any lunch plans. I am still up for lunch if it is good time for you."
>>90317F >>90318She looks at him with a serious expression
“I am requisitioning gas masks”
>>90321She starts to leave the room
“What did you have in mind for lunch?”
[Peaceful dragon-pony noises]
>>90324Good thing you're ready for some discussion.
>>90327OoOoOo~It's a crystal ghost~>>90326Alright. We'll see if the GM is able to hold the mademare conversation.
I suggest you take a look at the argument presented, so you get an idea of what I'm going for. >>90330He seems to be missing the point. Buying/selling ponies is immoral.
>>90331Don't you see he doesn't care that it's inmoral? You have to make him see it's bad for him to have that colt back to the abbey.
Unless you want to start a fight to free everyone and everything.Even the ones who don't want to. >>90332I get that much. I'm just getting into character.
>>90333Oh whoops.Still. Your rhetoric is going to need a roll to have an effect.
>>90334Oh shid.. lemme check if there's any way around this abysmal diplomacy mod.
>>90343I suppose that's what we should do.
Just going to hold up on that until he becomes dismissive of Iron's arguments, though. I would like not to use rolls unless we prepare for a fight. >>90343Welp, I'll go to bed for today. Have a good night, Ash's player.
Let us pray that the mademare actually feels a little threatened by any colt betrayal. >>90345I outta sleep too.
Goodnight, Iron's player.
>>90318I hate it when posts are deleted.
>>90328What's a mademare? I've honestly thought it's just a self-made mare in business, or a mare that makes stuff.
>>90347It was a stupid joke. If there is going to be some sort of statement about a character that paints that character in a negative light, I’d rather it be delivered in character. Always better to hear it from the horse’s mouth
>>90347Eh. It depends on what is being deleted. In this case, it's no biggie.
>What's a mademare?Honestly don't know. I suppose it's wordplay for mademan, which seems to be mafia slang for fully initiated mafia members.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Made_man >>90351It'd make sense that mare would sub for man in some sayings, since Equestria has a mildly matriarchal social structure.
Welcome, fillies and gentlecolts, to another episode of Void Adventures!
In this episode, we explore a bitter unicorn actor whose life was ruined by the changeling invasion, having been forced to flee his theater in order to escape the changeling's grasp and become a slave to them.
What will a composed stallion do when his life is stolen from him? Does he just sit there and take it or seek retribution for his loss? We shall see.
>>90354I still have no idea what these are supposed to be.
>>90356Random character ideas.
This stallion would be a neutral evil bard who will stop at nothing to obtain power and make the changelings submit for what they did aka a probable Blach Hooves recruit up to a general if enough time passes and he's successful in his missions.
>>90359Neutral Evil Bard is an interesting Concept.
Maybe the music could be heavy metal rock. Dirge Singer is also a good PrC for edgy bards.
>>90360He could be a lawlful psion telepath too. I wanted him to be a cold, ruthless bastard that wanted everyone to follow his path or die. He was supposed to be a mare, but that brings the eventual problem of lineage and unavailability.
>>90361>TelepathFor that, you wanna be a Thrallherd PrC. Great at enslaving people, and the bonus followers are good fodder for combat.
For a non-psionic build, Mindbender is basically the same thing.
>>90362Mindbender/Thrallherd is Starlight Glimmer tier though. It's not OP, but it's creepy.
>>90363>>90362He's supposed to be a pyschopath, so that's not such a bad thing. Not the 'hahaha I'm cRaZy' kind, but the super ultra mega logical kind. It would show how he doesn't care about ethics or morals.
Still, it may be too much. I have to keep the vanilla status.
>>90364Well, Thrallherd is a vanilla psionic PrC.
Mindbender was meant to be a replacement for Thrallherd as a non-psionic, arcane version.
>>90365I can't find it. Is it a feat?
>>90366No. It's a class.
Thrallherd is a raw prestige class. One of the psionic ones, that's actually decent.
>>90367It's a nice class, that's for sure. It would bypass the inability to go for the leadership feat I wanted.
>>90368It's just like leadership, but inspread of a cohort you get a 'thrall' and instead of followers you get 'believers'.
Unlike with leadership, you don't take penalties for leading them to their dooms. Believers are canon fodder, slaves to your every whim.
Great for Enchanters. Mindbender can even work as a Bard PrC.
>>90360Better to go with post-punk, such as Molchat Doma, Justice or The Soft Moon.
It's all anachronistic music anyway >>90369I don't really understand how it works. You have to have like +10 in charisma or something to have a thrall with believers?
>>90371No. You get the believers just like you do followers with the leadership feat. I don't remember the details of the class, but +10 charisma is insane demigod tier.
Maybe it just requires you to have a minimum of 10 charisma. An enchanter or Telepath should always have a bit of chaRosman anyway, since some spells require opposed charisma checks.
>>90372>chaRosmanThank you, autocorrect...
>>90373Better than lawlful.
>>90372What's the leadership score that the thrallherd has? I think it's charisma based.
>>90375If I read this correctly, I'd have a level 7 thrall and 5 believers.
>>90376It depends on your level.
Mindbender works the same way though. It's better for most campaigns, since psionic an be a headache (punlike intended).
But ur PC still alive, so don't go making too many more characters.
>>90380**Enchanters are pretty fun; especially in more modern settings, where you can have your slaves operate powerful, non-magical equiptment.**
Nothin' like coughing and hacking up mouthfuls of phlegm to get you in the mood for a Pony WWII DnD session.
>>90384Oof.
Hope you get better soon.
Again. >>90385Ah, it's just the end stage of the bug I already had, with my body expelling all of the mucus that had accumulated over the course of the past couple days. This time tomorrow, I'll be right as rain.
>>90388Maybe he's visiting the world he's created.
Maybe he's conquering the bugs and making them submit to his will and establishing a fascist Equestria under his rule Manos-style.
Maybe his lawyer gig is making him decent dosh.
