In 1960, after Ferdinando Cazzamalli is dead (1958) a book is published about his works. In 1966 USAF translates the book ( http://trash-art.at/trash/TheRadiatingBrain.pdf ). The book mentions technology that can go up to about 428MHz. Cazzamalli doesn't make people hallucinate by putting them in EM fields, he takes people who are psychics, psychotics, palm readers, water diviners, people who can easily visualise, and even people who have vivid dreams etc. and after they have relaxed (in the EM field) he verbally asks them to do the thing that makes them have perceptions/hallucinations or verbally says things like "think about your dead son".

I don't know where:

comes from. And it may not mean that the subjects were put into hallucination by 300-500MHz but that when asked to do their hallucinating the signal from there brain was that frequency. Much of the language in the papers and articles can be read from multiple perspectives and could easily be read as the EM fields made the hallucinations, but that is never explicitly stated in the 1966 USAF translations of Cazzamalli's book.

So remote inducing of unintended hallucinations by Cazzamalli in 1920s is dubious. Despite it being repeated in science papers.

The authors of the cited study concluded that clinical manifestations of epilepsy are different in years of maximum and minimum geomagnetic activity: In a period of high geomagnetic activity there is an increase in the number of epileptic psychoses and their equivalents, and in a period of reduced geomagnetic activity the number of twilight states is smaller, but the number of epileptic fits is greater. This conclusion has been confirmed on independent material and in another investigation (112), where the number of fits of epileptic patients on quiet magnetic days was higher than on magnetically disturbed days (r = -0.670-0.750).

It seems to me that ESP is extremely fragile, and those best suited to it would be also much closer to being insane as well because they are overwhelmed with EM sensitivity. Further more the signal itself can be overwhelmed by natural broadcasts such as solar activity. And in our increasingly EM polluted environment, we can probably expect less ESP ability to emerge and more insanity instead.

I think it's fair to say that being in the presence of a plasma object can cause you to hallucinate/dream "extraterrestrials". Also we seem to be extremely vulnerable to EM effects generally. Obviously this can be weaponized. It's unclear if specific visions could be sent to victims (or recalled from the subconscious) of victims, but since it is sufficient to have any hallucination interfere with the perception that ordinary humans have abducted you, there is no need to have a specific hallucination. Overtime cultural influences would probably dictate the interpretation and then subsequent dream/hallucination. And so emerges "greys from Zeta Reticuli" or "Space Brothers from Venus", add in some costumes and watch the population make up the rest of the myth for you, free of charge.

A side story: In my researching I came across 2 stories of ESP reception from within a Faraday cage of data outside a Faraday cage. The only physical method that could lead to this is if it is gravity waves. In >>89735 I have suggested that the atomic nucleus is an object that we can use to convert between gravity effects and EM fields. The brain could monitor fluctuations caused by gravity wave broadcasts which in turn perturb electrons, ions or molecules. It is very fascinating that Nature gave us both a very dense nucleus and a very light electron with the same charge, which allows the ability to broadcast over great distance through space. This is outside the 1947 molten blob research so I won't pursue it further.

The object was round, disc-shaped, and about the size of a silver dollar, and it lay in the street "burning with extreme heat." Newspapers were called and newsmen sent out to investigate. Before they arrived, however, an intrepid neighborhood boy kicked at the fragment, after the fire had subsided, and it "fell to pieces." When the reporters arrived, they scooped up the remaining ashes and took them away for analysis. The pavement was scorched where the object had lain. The Omaha World-Herald reported the next day that chemical analysis, under Dr. C. L. Kenny, head of the Chemistry Department of the College of Dentistry, Creighton University, and carried out by two unidentified students, revealed traces of sodium, potassium, iron, aluminum, carbonate, sulphate, and unburnt carbon. According to Dr. Kenny, it was nothing more than "ordinary pipe tobacco." The report is included among those in the Air Force files. Interestingly, it is probably the only UFO on record that has been explained as "tobacco ashes."

(The sun set at 8:28 p.m. MST on July 8.) They said that two of the objects appeared much larger than the others. They were shiny and reflected the rays of the setting sun, and as the two witnesses watched them, the two larger objects appeared to descend closer to the earth. Then, they said, the objects "turned red and vanished."A moment or so following the disappearance of the objects, Gregorson and Miss Mitchell both saw "fragments of ash" floating toward the ground from the direction in which they had last seen the objects. They caught several samples of the ash as it came down, before it touched the ground. It was pearl-grey in color, and one fragment was of "a shell-like material with bits of ash plastered all over it." One of the fragments was about the size of "a rose leaf." According to the news account, the witnesses gave the ashes to the paper, which in turn gave them to "the state chemist" for analysis. On the following day, the Statesman reported that results of the analysis indicated the fragments were nothing but ashes, probably from paper. Chemists said definitely that they were "not of a metallic residue."

What sort of analysis is that? The witness report was of higher quality!

>Case 802 -- July 9, Midland, Michigan: Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Edward Lane were picking berries shortly after 5:00 p.m. EST when they heard a kind of "puff" noise nearby. Looking up, they saw a ball of white, sparkling fire, like a Fourth of July sparkler, about the size of a bushel basket, no more than a hundred feet away. It was hovering several feet above a stretch of sand. After about ten or fifteen seconds, the fiery object "went out," and the object vanished. The only thing remaining was a peculiar dark substance on the sand, and some metallic fragments. The report, from the Air Force files, is explained as a "Possible hoax." The results of the analysis of the fragments and sand samples were provided by the Air Force. Analysis does not, as such, constitute any proof of a hoax. On the contrary, it seems to confirm that something of an unusual nature did occur, although it does not seem on the face of it to be necessarily connected with UFOs. The analysts apparently were given one sample of the metal -- an "irregular somewhat rounded pellet" which they state is principally silver. Impurities of one-tenth percent silicon are believed to be from sand picked up from the ground "before the metal solidified." The presence of molten silver in a berry patch is certainly odd, and rules out any simple "hoax." A sample of the dark residue in the sand was also analyzed and its chief constituents were iron, aluminum and titanium in amounts of one-tenth percent each. Some of the fine powder in the sand at the site proved to be chiefly thorite, a rare mineral. According to a letter from Lt. Colonel Barnett B. Young, dated August 18, 1967, the incident, while classified as a hoax, "was not initiated by the observer."

A preliminary look shows an interesting and supporting piece of evidence. The 1947-07-04 spike has a different character than the others. The wider event has about 50% ordinary boring fly-bys (sky blue in pie chart). But July 4th has 64% ordinary boring fly-bys. Suggesting something changed on July 4th. July 4th is when we cross 2004 TG10's orbital path ( >>78826 ), and since it has not hit Mercury it's meteors would do nothing interesting (unlike 2002 XM35 and it's children). This adds addition weight to my hypothesis.

The 1947 wave occurred between 2 "moon bumps" ( >>89607 ) and so we can reasonably suspect the moon's position could be a player. The "moon bumps" probably exist because the moon is in the correct position to optimally slingshot meteors -that would have otherwise missed the Earth- onto the Earth.

This has another consequence, because the Earth rotates, when the moon is on one side or the other it will sling-shot meteors with or against the surface rotational speed of the Earth.

The southern portion of the US is at about 25deg Latitude and its rotational speed is 943 MPH or 1517 km/h.
The northern portion of the US is at about 50deg Latitude and its rotational speed is 669 MPH or 1076 km/h.

So when the moon throws a meteor to the Earth against it's rotation the minimum speed will be 669 MPH or 1076 km/h to the perception of the ground observer. This is faster than aircraft were capable of and if they are shiny molten blobs they will attract attention.

Pic#2 shows the position of the moon and the rotation of the Earth. It also shows when we should expect 1000 km/h+ sightings and slow sightings. The decrease in daytime pure fly-by sightings is because the moon overtime left the optimal position, ultimately it was positioned to make more daytime stationary, hovering and slow maneuvering sightings. pic#2

It is also interesting to note that the peak of the reports were when the moon was opposite the 2002 XM35/Mercury "collision" radiant in our sky. I am not sure why, was it simply out of the way? Or adding gravity assist?

The 1947 UFO wave was the largest wave and so it requires, if it comes from natural space events, a large space event. We can't diminish it to be like the other 2,500 circular impacts, it must be exceptional.

I believe I have located the exceptional impact site and a secondary site. However I just discovered a slight error in my mapping which I still need to remedy. So here is a tentative map of the situation (pic1). Which might be altered in a few days after double checking it.

Notice it has 2 lobes, similar to many asteroids and comets, and if you look closer you can see a 2 lobed crater. Notice also that the northern lobe splatter goes over the Mercury north pole and heads into the Sun. Did the Sun show an extraordinary event happening?

Having found good evidence on the Sun and Mercury I looked deeper into the prospect that this might be a more regular occurrence for other UFO waves. The Taurid Complex (a name given to comets, asteroids and meteroids that are linked to the Taurid meteors) has an orbit period of about 3-4 years. Mercury has an orbit a bit less than 90 days. For simplicity's sake lets restate this in months, and focus on 2 Mercury-Taurid orbital harmonics.

3 month Mercury Orbit : 40 month Taurid orbit = 120 months harmonic = 10 years
3 month Mercury Orbit : 44 month Taurid orbit = 132 months harmonic = 11 years

Because this particular selection produces whole years, the Earth is also now included in the 3-way orbital harmonic. Because we have proposed that the Great Sunspot of February 1946 is caused by meteroid splatter, could the normal sunspot cycle also be caused by meteroid splatter from this harmonic? The Sun spot cycle is 11 years. Can a correlation be found between UFO wave cycles, AND sunspot cycles, both originating from a Mercury/Taurid flyby/collision harmonic?

The answer is yes, but it is complicated by an additional sub-harmonic. The 40 month Taurid orbit cycle is 3 and one-third years, double this and you get 6 and two-third years, similarly the 44 month Taurid orbit cycle is 3 and two-third years, double that and you get 7 and one-third years. The average of both of these is 7 years for this offset sub-harmonic. This is the cause of the 7 year offset from the 10 year primary UFO Wave cycle. So there are 10-year separated UFO waves and ~7-year offset UFO waves. (>>27411 pic1 is an example)

This research has expanded to explaining all the UFO waves. Note I am not saying all UFOs, I am specifically saying waves. What happens is a mixture of human activity on a smaller scale which is punctuated every 10+7 years by natural, space originating, metal and glass UFO waves. The 1946 January collision of the parent of 2002 XM35 and Mercury was a major space event which splattered Mercury, the Sun, and the Earth with molten metal and glass.

This makes it a potential precurser of the 1957 UFO Wave (>>101892 pic3, pics here). Pic1 is a graph of UFO reports in the UFOCAT database by day of year for every year until 1984. This was used to get a feel for whether UFO volume on a day matches up with Taurid Complex objects. A side use is to show you that a Wave occurred in 1957, this implies a Taurid Complex/Mercury flyby/collision occurred around December 1955. It takes about 0-3 years for the splatter to get to Earth. Pic2 uses 2002 XM35 orbit as a proxy for the Taurid Complex Orbit and shows where Mercury was when this hypothesis could have occurred.

Sonic shields. I suppose you could set up distant harmonics which shatter incoming objects. This image shows that if you take all of the Taurid Complex meteoroids, asteroids, comets (Encke) and view the flight paths from a certain vantage point they clump through 2 positions in space. I then drew the plane of Mercury orbit, it goes between both clumps. One clump is old and goes back to the 1800s. The other clump has varied considerably in location, so much so that I am doubtful it is the same clump/cause over the decades. This later clump is my prime suspect for the periodic splatter of metal and glass. However the splatter can only do its 10 years cycle if material remains for use. This material is lost on each pass of Mercury (some sent to the sun for sunspots), perhaps Venus, perhaps Earth, perhaps Mars, until it disappears back into noise levels. It seems we ran out of material in the 1970s >>70176 .... hmmm that infrared survey...

Start of with the wrong premise get the wrong answer!

I have been proposing that The Taurid Complex has 2 harmonics (3⅓ and 3⅔ year orbits) with Mercury (¼ year orbit) of 10 and/or 11 years. What happens if we separate these as 2 harmonies and assume they have independent existences?

Periodically both would meet Mercury at the same time resulting in a dual collision/splatter event. How often?

3⅓, 3⅔ -> 10, 11 -> 110 year meta-cycle.

Can we find evidence of a major event happening in the sky every ~110 years?

Can we massage and twist this into a 110 year cycle? What date do we work with? Lets pick 1947, if we add 110 years we get 2057, that isn't very useful. Lets go in reverse, 1947 - 110 = 1837. Anything big happening in the sky around then?

We might have a hit Except it is 4 years early. But we have actually seen this before, when looking at the ghost fliers of 1930s the dates centered on 1934 and 1937, the bias though, seemed to be 1934 over 1937, whereas in the 40s the bias was 1947 over 1944 (foo fighters). Do they flip-flop in prominence?? Or is my maths too imprecise and I should move a day resolution. For example Mercury orbit is 87.9691 days (not 3 months, 90 days)
or 0.240846 years (not 0.25 years), would a more precise calculation lead to an explanation of this meteor storm? Or was the 1837 stream faded and the 1834 stream prominent as they flip-flop?

I keep finding reasons to be encouraged by this hypothesis... pic is another "coincidence", meteor events with a 10 year cycle reported by astronomers in 1935, also in 1925, expecting a return in 1945... make it stop!!

I'm examining the 1965 Flying Disc wave as an assumed "echo" of the 1947 wave as a result of the 1946 Mercury collision. What is emerging is that these magnesium objects are thermite reactions waiting to happen. In space it seems they can be dormant, but when in the atmosphere the atomised magnesium in the core can violently react with oxygen or nitrogen. It can also react with the silica and silicon of the object. Temperatures can reach 3100C. There are thermal, magnetic, EM/light, erratic motion and buoyancy effects. These things are dangerous.

The Taurid Meteor showers as we known them today did not exist prior to 1946. There was a brief shower in 1937 (Ghost Fliers?) and an absence for decades before that. Meteors and these objects have the same source.

I can explain the UFO waves 1947-1979. The debris launched by the Mercury collision has to obey the laws of orbital mechanics. It will return eventually to its place of origin after orbiting the sun. Mercury will also eventually return to that place at the same time. It's just a matter of clockwork mechanics and time. In addition Earth will also be placed as it was the first time at some point.

If I calculate the closeness of both Mercury and Earth to the original locations for each I can predict "echo" repeat collision probabilities. This assumes there is debris still available for colliding against Mercury again (each collision, planet pass, Earth strafe depletes the pool of debris).

Regarding impacts. High speed impacts create explosions, explosions are spherical, therefore no matter the angle of the descent the crater will always be round because the explosion makes the crater.

Regarding the High Magnesium Region on Mercury. Some odd interesting info: Mercury has 0.5 Mercury days in a Mercury year. Therefore 1 day on Mercury takes 2 Mercury years. The result of this is Mercury, at any particular point in its orbit is facing one particular way or the direct 180deg opposite way each orbit.

This means that the HMR faces the incoming asteroids one year and then the opposite side on the alternate years. The HMR is huge but the opposite area only has a crater with a much smaller splash of Magnesium. This suggests the Mg meteor collisions can't be often (or somehow ends up happening only on alternate Mercury alternate orbits - unlikely).

Or its the area that gets sideswipped. Asteroids and meteors when they head out near Jupiter can be sped up or slowed down by Jupiter. If they get slowed down they spiral closer and closer to the sun. If they have low inclination they can slowly spiral down towards the sun until they scrape Mercury. So this might be a low angle scrape past area. I need to do more work on this still. Perhaps spiralling outward works too.

I am looking at the 1946/7 Earth splatter events as having precursors going back to 1896. A soft disturbance of the 1946 impact object on prior down spiralling orbits leading up to the main event in 1946. Alternatively there are multiple down spiralling events, see pics.

Taurids, Perseids and Aquariid meteor showers have objects in them that are swinging by Mercury often. The story of events is emerging now!

(1) The colliding object was slowly spiralling down towards the Sun/Mercury. This is an attempt by the object to get into resonance with either Mercury and/or Jupiter. When objects orbit they will approach the gravity well of the various planets, this will speed them up or slow them down depending on the configuration. (3) The features of the impact site suggest a double lobed object impacted, the depression is 2 craters and the High Magnesium Region (HMR) is 2 lobed. The splatter went everywhere causing: 1946 Ghost Rockets, 1946+ Great Sunspots, 1947+ Flying Discs, 2002 XM35 core (Core #1) and another unnamed core (Core #2), and a spike in meteor showers.

(4) The unnamed Core #2 continued to orbit but eventually collided with Mercury again about 3-4 years later (assuming it kept a 3-4 year orbit as Taurids tend to do) and embedded itself in Mercury at a site called the Rachmananoff Crater. Which is a unique crater because of its high magnesium content which is what clues us in.

(5) The 1950 March small UFO Wave which had no explanation ( See >>102933 ) came from the second impact of Core #2 onto Mercury. This happened in February 1950 and splashed the Earth in March of 1950 as Earth moved through the debris field from Mercury Collision #2 by Core #2.

(6) All of the splatter and molten metal and glass kept orbiting in order to frighten the semi-intelligent inhabitants of the 3rd planet causing them to speculate, as semi-primitive species do, about which superior intelligence created the great sky objects shaped like glowing/silvery discs. Ultimately they made up a mythology about sky beings visiting them, this then allowed public manipulation for evil clandestine psychological and medical purposes/experiments.

I like it when a plan comes together!

I was organising historic science papers that discuss meteor showers so I could more easily see which discussed what meteor showers (Pic1, flag 't' means it discusses the Taurids) and I noticed a lack of discussion of the Taurid meteor showers between 1913-1936 (also noted by Sky and Telescope >>101941 pic2). The Ghost Fliers turn up between 1934-1937. Which got me wondering, do the Taurids turn up when UFOs turn up? I did a deep dive into the Taurids history going back to mid-1800s (am I autistic?) and something unexpected turned up.

The Taurids disappeared between 1891 and 1896 (Pic2). A disappearance for 3-4 years is possible because an orbit takes that long, but 5 years is too much. Also 1896 is a very interesting year because that is when the "Mystery Airships" show up. Not only that, previously the Taurids had mainly come from the Northern Taurids, the Southern Taurids were less prominent. In 1891 both disappeared. This implies they ran out of material to throw at us. In 1896 the Southern Taurids surged and the Northern Taurids remained absent. This surge extended past 1904 (not sure how far yet).

This suggest the Taurids were replenished by some event prior to August 1896. Because we first saw these new Taurids in August that means they came from the direction of the Sun (because of how Taurids orbit) and so we saw them during daylight. This means we could not mistake them for Airships and so they became labelled as meteors. After the meteor stream(s) had orbited over the Earth they went out past Mars orbit and into the Asteroid Belt and came back in through the Earth in October and November. This time they came from the night side of the Earth. With no daylight to examine them, only a bright light visible, it was assumed these were Airships with arc lamps. This resulted in them being classified as UFOs and meteors. Ordinary people and the newspapers assumed that they are manufactured like the few man-made actual airships that are flying around ( >>750 ). UFOlogy wont be giving them up to scientists as meteors, they will keep them as UFOs instead. Scientists will simply ignore them, because paranormal stuff... eww.

The Taurids continued to spray the Earth again in the later half of the year from 1896 onwards.

This is a microcosm prequel of the 1940s-1970s Flying Discs/Saucers. The Mystery Airships are now included in the hypothesis because they, like Ghost Rockets, Ghost Fliers and Flying Discs run parallel to the Taurid meteor showers, and that seems to be mostly from Mercury collisions.

I am just about done with Stage 1 of this research, I have a decent narrative ( >>103864 ) based on astronomy history. I have noticed this also ( pic3 >>101892 ) so has >>104459 indirectly. I have a proposal for the sun spot situation.

The sun's upper 30% is the density of water or less (pic3). This is convective (pic1) and the sun rotates unevenly per latitude (pic2).

The convection is a convection of ions, so this makes the E and M field (line)s. The uneven rotation builds up field line stresses which snap and cause normal sun spots as the field lines rise up through the photosphere. It's a cycle of build up and burst. Left alone this would be a simple sine wave cycle. But the sun isn't left alone...

The sun grazers https://sungrazer.nrl.navy.mil/index.php?p=sungrazers also I expect it will have meteoid and asteroid impacts too. These probably don't make it into the sun as solid objects but as a cloud of dense atomic nuclei, this cloud can make it through partially, the denser the ion the more likely it can pass through the sea of light dispersed gaseous or liquid-like Hydrogen (a natural space element filter). The more shallow the strike the more lightweight material makes it and the more cohesion is kept. >>101892 pic3 might be an entry and exit wound, either the 2 big spots and/or the small one. The metallic impact/flyby on the sun released the built up solar tension, both together made the Great Sunspots because the blob and its friends orbited for a while. Biela was most visibly separated in 1846-1852. At this point the Taurid meteor showers did not exist. But in 1846 at what will become the Southern Taurids, "Hind's [First] Comet" is seen (1846MNRAS...7R.162H). Clouds then disallow Hind from relocating said comet ever again. And in 1852 a "Nebula" appears at the point in the sky where the Northern Taurids will come from. (1864MNRAS..24...65H). Then in 1861 the Northern Taurids arrive (maybe 1845 but can't verify source), then in 1869 the Southern Taurids arrive. (1904JBAA...14..358D). So the root of all of this might be Comet Biela seppuku in 1832. It is also what made humanity work out meteor showers are astronomical when it did a replay in 1866 as per a 33 year cycle. This implies we didn't have a situation that warranted working out the meteor mystery before 1833.

You are at the place I have ended up. What makes sunspots? Is it internal to the sun? Twisted magnetic field lines? or external impacts, or both? What if it is even worse than this... The sun poles rotate faster than the equator ( >>104636 ) why? I visualise this as a column in the sun from pole to pole that has high spin. This is maintained because of momentum, the momentum is a product of mass and angular velocity. If the sun over produced, through fusion, metals could centrifugal forces cause the ejection of heavy elements from the sun? This could be cyclic. Let me introduce some more problems. If a comet or asteroid breaks up and the debris continues to break up, eventually you will have a significant amount of atoms in orbit still, perhaps in clouds. With the photosphere of the sun at 6000K the solidity of matter was never a factor, the only factor was high mass(es of) atomic nuclei.

Let's return to Newtonian and Keplerian orbital motions:
I have proposed previously that the 11 year solar cycle is a product of 3 x 3.67 year cycles, and the 10 year cycle is the product of 3 x 3.33 year cycles. I want to expand on this. Notice in >>103521 that the Taurid objects fall well short of Jupiter orbit, whereas the Aquarids reach Jupiter orbit. Notice how the Taurids are still fairly orderly arranged and the Aquarids are divergent. Jupiter messes up orbits when the period of an orbit is too large.

The space rocks we are interested in are the ones that affect Earth. To do that they have to be orbiting close to the plane of the ecliptic. Only these are going to affect us via Mercury and so by extension are subject to the other planets in the same plane. The big daddy of them all is Jupiter. Getting closer than about 1AU to Jupiter is said to make Jupiter's influence significant (as aside see pic1 for Jupiter affects on asteroids). I would suggest that the 3.67 year orbits are being disturbed, broken up and redirected by Jupiter each time Jupiter swings by. Since Jupiter's orbit is 11.862 years it is the main player in redirecting ~4-year+ orbiting debris at the Sun. There is still travel time to consider and the exact configuration of the re-direction. Some slingshots could send debris at the sun accelerated. This introduces the variability of the solar cycle but it should be constrained to an average of 11.862. The current average is 11.04 years ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_solar_cycles ) which needs explanation still. But all of that assumes their is only one point in Jupiter orbit that this occurs and that point has perpetual material, which won't be true. So I'd suggest the 11 year solar cycle is Jupiter messing up material that has the audacity to have orbits close to 4 years long in the ecliptic plane. A good example of this seems to be the Aquarids.

This brings us to the 3.33 year orbits, these fall short of Jupiter influence and so are more stable than those mentioned above. This allows them to stay away from the sun and instead perpetually enter and leave the Earth atmosphere. There are many different orbital periods for this debris but our interest is in the material that has an orbit which has a resonance with Earth orbit leading to the observation of a 10 year UFO cycle ( >>101941 pic3 ). Because the orbit is 3⅓ years, the debris crosses Earth orbit each 3⅓ years but each crossing the Earth is ⅓ further along in it's orbit this means that every 2 debris orbits, the Earth is not available to receive the UFOs, and does receive them again on every 3rd 3⅓ year orbit. Making a stable 10 year UFO cycle until the material finishes dispersing to a degree below the threshold of being reported as a UFO (1970s).

The +7 year offset or perhaps +3 year offset (10-7=3) is probably caused by the fact that the orbits cross Earth orbit twice. Once to exit the inner solar system (June-Aug, e.g. Flying Discs) and the other to return (Sep-Nov). The time between exit and entry is about 3 years. I need to look into this deeper to see if it plays out that way but one example is >>104752 .

Which brings us to 2002 XM35. The orbit of this is thought to be 3.57 years, which seems to be too close to Jupiter for my liking (pic2). So it may not be a stable orbit and so may not be what hit Mercury. However it still serves as a good proxy object.

What if the initial easy escape for the excess metals made in the sun is the less "atmospheric" thick higher/lower latitudes, but the production is still too high and needs the equatorial/core centrifugal dispersal also. Or the higher/lower latitude has less "atmosphere" to travel through and the equator more so the equatorial dispersal appears delayed. Pic2. Does Jupiter when it gets closer to the sun offer some assistance? What about other planetary alignments?

If sulphur is missing from asteroids and more prominent on comets (just like water) the obvious answer is sulphur (compounds) melt off >>105257 . If so then the solar environment should be rich in sulphur. Out of proportion to asteroids.

Lets use Iron as a reference point. It has a melting point of 1538C, so it wont be melting at Mercury distances. The amount of iron in a meteor looks to be between 9% and 100% ( https://www.permanent.com/meteorite-compositions.html ). So the ratio of S:Fe in the solar environment would be at best 1/9 or 0.11 if sulphur did not melt off space rocks.

Interesting. Citation? One thing to consider is that the sun also has core heat induced convection. Since it is convection of plasma, the convection is exactly the same as EM field lines. So convection is the cause of the EM. If the sun core cools, less convection = less EMF. Why would the sun's core cool? Does the sun loose mass?

While I am on the topic of magnetism, their seems to be no logical description of what magnetism actually is. What is the medium the field is in? I have noticed that on humid days computer network WiFi has better range. Water molecules have a + and - side. I assume therefore that the water molecules are oscillating and therefore are helping convey the signal. The wibbly-wobbly sun core makes the sunspot cycle but intrusions of space rocks add chaos to that/those (multi-layered) sine wave(s). The solar core could have multiple types of rotations occurring at once.

The argument against a 1943 collision is the great sunspots start in 1946 on one side of Mercury and the Ghost Rockets on Earth on the other side of Mercury.

A more encompassing hypothesis would be that Mercury collisions are caused by orbiting rocks loosing momentum and spiralling closer to the sun. The best explanation for this is minor collisions in the Asteroid Belt. This could give us the relatively minor amount of Foo Fighters pre-1946 and then the main event 1946-1947.

I can't find anything mentioning 'electromorphogenic field', dead end. And no because every second Mercury orbit, Mercury is 180 degrees rotated. Therefore repetitious events at the same location in orbit would make 2 regions on the Mercury surface 180 degree opposite each other. Their is no explanation which allows both repetition and one surface feature on Mercury (unless the repetition fluked being in a multiple of 2x88 days exactly and did not drift over time, unlikely.)

I was bored and so I decided to start looking at geological science papers in the hopes of discovering some mention of natural thermite. I did a search for magnesium at https://agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/action/doSearch? and discovered >>107205 and then:

Basically, the valley of the HMR doesn't look like a large crater despite being low. And any, over time, erosion of large crater features would also have removed the Mg as well.

They suggest the high Mg is from a high Mg section of the mantel under the thin crust. But the important part is that if an impact occurred in 1946, the large crater features should still be visible, but they aren't. In contrast, the Caloris Basin is a huge crater said to be millions of years old.

How to rescue the hypothesis?

I ponder that a collision was not involved and it was a close flyby break up. If 2002 XM35 is our proxy and it's orbit is 3.57 years, and Mercury is 87.97 days then how often would the close flyby break up occur?

The break up might include fracturing the thin HMR valley crust exposing Mg rich mantel leading to volcanism. Which might then get pulled along in 2002 XM35's wake or pushed up due to pressure, or 2002 XM35 might bring its own Mg and splashed Mercury on the flyby.

I then wondered how to test for these flybys. If I times the days of Mercury orbit by the days of 2002 XM35 orbit and then divide that by 365.24, I get 314 years for repeating flybys. This sounded suspiciously close the weather cycles >>106754 and Armstrong's civilization cycles (pic1). I then decided to look at 1946 - 314 = year 1632. Looking at the history of UFOs and meteors showed nothing similar to 1946/7 in the 1620-1630s time frame. A dead end. So I decided the ~300 year cycle of Armstrong/weather/sun needed a deeper look.

This is an awesome paper where scientists looked at the sun spot cycle with software to attempt to tease out the components that lead to the rise and fall of sun spots. They discovered 8 "Principal Components", which I will rename, 8 cycles within the sun. There may be more. However, thankfully, 97% of sun spot activity could be explained by 2 of those cycles.

By plotting the in-phase and out-of-phase effects of these 2 cycles they discover:

The maths allows the prediction of sun spots, and therefore the sun's magnetic field strength, which comes from the convection layer(s), which comes from the core's heat. In short it predicts the solar output. Solar output affects the weather (ice/snow, plant growth) which in turn affects the sustainability of a civilization. A starving, economically failing civilization can't be civilized.

But what has this to do with UFOs? I have shown in >>102272 that sun spots and UFOs correlate. And that the 1946/7 exceptional UFO waves were preceded by the very first exceptional Great Sunspot of January 29, 1946 with it's metallic prominence. If Mercury did not initiate the launching of a massive amount of Mg into space, did the sun? Can the sun eject metal?

How does 1946/7 compare on the chart produced by the scientists? pic2 shows that the sun's churn was at it's highest during the Ghost Rockets and Flying Discs. The sun has horizontal magnetic field lines that orbit within the sun. I assume sun spots are like our atmospheric weather cells, it is caused by the circumference length difference at different latitudes. This causes non-equatorial flow to move slower than the equator. This speed difference causes eddies. The sun gets magnetic eddies -> sun spots. And we get wind eddies -> low pressure systems -> cyclones, hurricanes.

The science paper updates the old model of the sun by replacing the 1 layer of convection (as shown in the visuals above) with 2 convection layers (pic2). Both of these layers migrate north and south but not in unison (they are different sizes for example). They are out of phase. When they are close to each other -> major sunspots and presumably major gouging into the solar core. This digs up metal and ultimately throws it into space. Since a sun spot can be larger than the Earth the amount of metal thrown is staggering to contemplate >>101892 size of Earth bottom left corner.

The Great Sun Spot of 1946 may have started the Ghost Rockets and Flying Saucers. The HMR may even be the sun splashing Mercury with Mg. And the solar spin up of the previous grand cycle gave us 1560's celestial phenomena. Space collision leading to metal objects probably does happen but it is nothing compared to the sun throwing metal.

Some additional thoughts, the extended solar Maunder minimum (~100 years according to charts >>107577 ), means the core super-heats (no convection) -> higher fission rates -> 1946 convection rates was larger than previous grand cycle -> perfect storm of throwing metal.

I've been wondering about how similar the HMR valley and its 180° opposite valley are. I've done a topography of the North, Mid and South of the HMR valley and its opposite partner. The Mid and South seem to be similar and consistent with the slow erosion caused by Taurid (and friends) meteorite erosion (as they swing into the sun and Mercury swings out into them).

However the North HMR valley shows a strong difference. It is pockmarked by a swarm of craters that are deep. If I assume black looking craters are likely to be newer (black means deep, not filled in by meteor dust over centuries) then the missing HMR single crater is actually viewable multiple craters overlaid on a pre-existing valley.

This implies a swarm of Mg rich material hit Mercury. Two sources could be Asteroid Belt collion/break up or sun flung metal swarm. Because the HMR extends toward the equator but with less density of Mg and widely despersed, perhaps the centrifugal rotation of Mercury has spread the molten light Mg south. A look at the topography did not suggest the equator was downhill.

>When some of the very best negatives of the solar spectrum are carefully examined, it is found that some of the sharp-edged, clean-cut, and unshaded lines of iron, chromium, manganese, titanium, etc., have a faint, dark shading just outside the edge of the lines. It is very faint and difficult to observe (only slightly darker than the general background of the solar spectrum), but is not due to contrast, as it is not always present. It is a difficult observation to make, but was observed for some time before the explanation forced itself upon me. The correct explanation undoubtedly is that this faint, dark shading (dark in the negative) is the remains of an emission line, either produced at the photosphere or lower down in the solar atmosphere than the absorption line.

It isn't clear if the hot metal detected is from better human detection or the sun is actually heating more metal into incandescence. But the timing works well for the solar grand cycle and Mystery Airships.
