Move silently (trying to not be heard approaching, to "accidentally" scare Miss Skies)
For context:
Brie is presenting himself as the slickest shit in front of ponies who basically have never worked with him before and rolls a fucking 1 on his first display of 'technique'.
I encourage players to headcanon a range of receptions ^_^
>>178096>Posey is wearing that cloak of resistance, right? No. She left it in the dungeon on the skeleton as part of her act to pretend she respects the dead and Glass Horizon's property, and intended to collect it later.
I'm probably going to want it soon, but Posey's saves are already high enough for this level. So long as we don't encounter a beholder or pyroclastic dragon with disintegrate, I'm not too worried.
>>178097You're a Cleric, right? What spells do you have prepared? If you left any of your slots open to prepare in 10 minutes, I have some requests.
>>178102Yep, already have all the spells prepared too.

2nd lvl: Aid, Shield Other, Sound Burst, Frost Weapon +(Soften Earth and Stone/Spiritual Weapon)
3rd lvl: Haboob, Searing Light, Flame of Faith +(Stone Shape/Magic Vestment)

>>178103Ah, I would have recommended Blessed Aim, Mass Lesser Vigor, Downdraft, Silence, Dark Way, Knights Move, Close Wounds, Ice Slick. No time to re prepare though.
I have Detect Undead.
Are you Exalted? Spontaneous Sanctified spells could be nifty, particularly Path Of The Exalted if you can abstain from casting any divination spells for the component (I have Detect Magic and Detect Undead, so no need to cast them; save those slots for healing or spontaneous sanctified spells). From your prepared spells, I gather that your Domains is Purification, so I thought you might be.
Vision Of Punishment is a good Sanctified spell to cast in a pinch too, so long as you don't cast it before Path Of The Exalted (it's divination).
>>178107Not exalted and wrong domain. Earth and War. I'll keep a few of those in mind if I have to prep more spells though.

Everyone in the room hears some kind of tripping and falling out in the hallway.
>>178097“What?” Shoal Water is concerned and confused.
Another pony - a copper colored earth pony in the hat and green uniform of Customs - placed a hoof on Dust’s shoulders, or at least, reaches out as if he is going to.
“Please” he says. “She may look threatening, but really she’s a delicate little flower. She needs somepony, err, someone, to look after her.”
>>178098“Okay…” the stallion says.
As Brie goes down the hall, or perhaps, down the stairs, he trips. He catches himself, but he fails to be as sneaky as he likes.

Brie strides calmly back into the room, no longer wearing his trenchcoat, instead a si.ple vest, midnight blue with pink pinstripe.
"There we are, my lovely associate will have all the necessary identification shortly. Shall we get down to business then?" He smilingly takes a seat. "Oh thats right, where are my manners, I havent introduced myself yet. The name's Brie Actungsechkzig" (knowlege underground might have heard of him). "A pleasure. Shall we discuss the specifics?"
>>178117[1d20+3 = (5+3) = 8]
>>178119He was much quieter that time. Perhaps the jacket?
Aside the >1 its actually cuz I forgot the dex bonus the first time
More backgrounds than the underground may know of Brie. He's an international criminal with ties to the Changeling Mafia/Hive, rumored to be involved in smuggling, arms dealing, counterfeiting, and a host of other felonious practices.
He drew major Baltimare news when he publicly adopted two changeling child ess ayy victims, later taking them to atheir homeland where he received a blessing from Crysalis to raise them as an emissary of sorts to the changelings, in pony land.
The child-lings were major scandals, having been bug-trafficked by a well-entrenched political figure in Baltimare, and both have been non-committally observed in the area recently, again for ponies with history/knowledge/background

Suddenly, and not for any inactivity or lack of jurisimprudence, YOUR reputation falls into question. You found yourself responsible for their actions, their incompetence.
Obviously not the norm, but if it were we wouldnt be having this delightfully friendly conversation!" [b]He says, tansitioning mid sentence like a bipolar, startingnwith grave and menacing and ending withnplayful and jubilant
>>178128The captain sighs.
“No, that’s not the reason. It’s a fair guess, to be sure, but that isn’t the reason.”
>>178129"Indulge me then. If you were the one who put my name on your list, you didn't do it with a smile. So to what end? I can't help but assume you've read all the available reports. I hope they do.me justice."
I will work on developing a standardized indicator for when Brie is being pleasant and affable, and menacingly serious. If anyone is interested, his personality is based largely on the character Raymond Reddington, played by (the legendary) James Spader on the series "The Blacklist" (which I will never do true justice to cuz Im neither a world class actor nor do I have professional script writers, but I will do my best)

Is there any other pre-adventure prep?
I don't need to buy any equipment, except for maybe a flamethrower or grenade-arrows for my compound bow. It's optional though.
If anyone else is willing to contribute some gold for reagents, I could summon a Companion Spirit to buff the team.
>>178134I get the impression that when all is said and done, we will be leaving immediately
>>178134It's not done, I just have to take a little pause for IRL matters
Disclaimer: I am exceedingly excited to imageboard rp again - it just hits different when people cant fucking interrupt you... sorry - but I will try to apply the necessary discipline to not be a nuisance as a player, it is bad enough a nuisance I am as a character
Since we're using a 3.5e adaption in a modern setting, I will help everyone out with their equipment purchases by posting the d20 Modern Core rulebook purchase DC to gold piece (bits are gold pieces, right?) tables. You can look up the purchase DCs for equipment and pay the appropriate amount of bits for them. Be mindful of WWII tech level.
There's the question of access, but since we're working through a military contractor we could plausibly requisition military access equipment, with some charisma checks.
Idk what the access levels are for most 3.5e magic items are, but there are similar Wealth DCs and access tiers for FX items in d20 Arcana. Rosey Ring is, from her background, certified to use dangerous magic, so magic item purchases can be done through her if necessary.
>>178138I fucked up that screenshot... I'll find the direct conversion table somewhere.
I think 1 gp = roughly $20 though.
Oh yeah, I forgot I should probably roleplay this part:
"Oh, it looks like we might need some extra equipment to get this done smoothly. Luckily, I always keep some emergency gold on horn- WHERE'S MY BUCKING COIN PURSE?! I'VE BEEN ROBBED! REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
And from that say forward, Rosey Ring swore to always keep her emergency gold in the pocket under her skin.
>>178136Understood. No hurry.
>>178138Respectable and generous offer of time and assistance.
I'm still a little iffy on what the available technological levels, and product availability (in general and specific to OE, I generally assume ~ww2). Thing is, there's a number of things that Brie would like if he were walking through an arms warehouse, but only a few things he would think to ask for in the moment, and while the game affords the option of going over available lists and dcs and what not, the actual asks should still reflect the circumstantial nature of the exchange

>>178145It's not the pocket you're thinking of.
>>178147Yes.
The Equestria at War sneak peak map included a nation called “Hyenia.” So I decided to include hyenas, and call them “gnolls” in reference to the creature in traditional D&D. Unlike D&D gnolls, which are bipedal, much larger than humanoids, always based on Spotted hyenas, and don’t live past thirty, these “gnolls” are quadrupedal “feral” hyenas, are approximately pony sized though perhaps a bit larger, and could probably live past thirty if they don’t die of other reasons first. There are two varieties, “Crocuta” which are spotted hyenas, and “Kaftar” which are striped hyenas.
Equestria at War changed Hyenia to “Qualidi Dervishes,” which are a permutation of diamond dog and ironically closer to D&D gnolls than my interpretation here in their physical appearance, but are “Harmonic,” probably just to be contrarian, as every single African and Western depiction of Spotted Hyenas from tribal legends to
The Lion King is negative prior to 2010s revisionism.
Among the characters in the room is a Kaftar gnoll.
>>178148It means he’s implying he thinks the bat pony in the room stole Posey’s coin purse.

Kira - Rope
Posey - Unicorn

Brie - Bap
Gnoll?
>>178149Uh,... I missed their introduction, my apologies
>>178149>gnoll loreCan I have permission to make a Cleric statblock for the reanimated ghoul Agire? I would like to have him as one of Posey's six NPC contacts (aka friends) that she could approach for services (as Posey would be hesitant to approach priests of any other temple), and to that end I would like him to have statistics.
I was thinking between lvls 3-8 (I'm estimating around lvl 6, based on monster manual Gnoll Organization tables, which says a leader should be lvl 6-8), but just let me know the appropriate level. Gravetouched Ghoul with either the temporary or permanent version of the Yeenoghu-blooded template. Domains would be Demonic and Hunger (having been raised to undeath by the King of Ghouls and Gnolls). If lvl 6 he'd have the Bane Of Infidels prestige class. Feats would be Sacrificial Mastery and Sacrificial Divination, and maybe Leadership to qualify for Bane Of Infidels (unless prereq stricken, because NPC). General Build is based on Sacrifice because it represents his character development having been reborn from sacrifice. Regional background would be Gnoll. Starting Occupation would be Religious. All his skillpoints would be in Religion (Gnoll ghoul means very low int), unless Cloistered Cleric (he seemed like more of the scholarly type than the fighting type, but idk if Gnoll priests would ever be cloistered). Armor would be Lamellar, because he's middle Eastern coded.
I just really like making statblocks, and other players were making secondary characters, so I was just wondering.
>Spotted vs Striped hyenasI take it that means Kaftars are monster manual Gnolls, and Crocuttas are Flinds (the larger, fiercer variety of Gnoll that is like a hobgoblin to a goblin)? Or are Crocuttas Leucrottas? (The quadrupedal magical beast created alongside Gnolls)?
>>178150The Gnoll is an NPC, presumably one of Silver's followers or NPC-contacts.
>>178149>Equestria at War changed Hyenia to “Qualidi Dervishes,” which are a permutation of diamond dog and ironically closer to D&D gnollsThis might have been influenced by David Silver's Ponyfinder calling diamond dogs in his setting "Gem Gnolls". David Silver is surprisingly influential in things like this, even though Everglow's world-building is utter shit.

The gnoll stands up and raises his head. He moves his eyes across the room.
“Um… I’m… Mala Mata… I haven’t done anything like this before…” he looks around and stands in awkward silence for four seconds. Then he sits back down.
>>178152>Can I have permission to make a Cleric statblock for the reanimated ghoul Agire?>I was thinking between lvls 3-8 (I'm estimating around lvl 6, based on monster manual Gnoll Organization tables, which says a leader should be lvl 6-8)When Agire was first introduced into the campaign as an enemy to be fought and killed by the party alongside three other NPCs, he was probably level 4. He’s an apprentice, not a full blown lead priest.
>I take it that means Kaftars are monster manual Gnolls, and Crocuttas are Flinds (the larger, fiercer variety of Gnoll that is like a hobgoblin to a goblin)? Or are Crocuttas Leucrottas? (The quadrupedal magical beast created alongside Gnolls)? If I don’t have to make stat blocks for NPCs, I don’t make stat blocks for NPCs. Posey did not chose to be hostile to any of the gnoll communities
despite that being the intent, so they weren’t given stats. However I generally use player stats for normalish enemies and allies.
>>178160Silver goes over to his gnoll friend, and gives him some pets on top of the head.
Silver: "It is okay, my friend. Tell us about some of your strengths. Like, well, your strength. You are as strong as I am, at least."
>>178159I have secondary characters on back burner (one Nightstalker, one Shadowbane Inquisitor/Blackguard/Bone Knight, one Binder / Ur Priest / Tenebrous Apostate; Nightstalker's Subsidiaries would be a Siren, a Master Of The Unseen Hand, and a Lurking Terror / Assassin; one undecided dragon), but I was waiting for Posey to reach appropriate level get Leadership + Undead Leadership + Mentor + Guildmaster + Dragon Cohort and have cohorts/followers.
>>178160>When Agire was first introduced into the campaign as an enemy to be fought and killed by the party alongside three other NPCs, he was probably level 4. He’s an apprentice, not a full blown lead priest.Thank you.
Mala closes his eyes and smiles as his ears are moved side to side. He stands and speaks again,
“I can fight. I don’t want to say how I know, but uh, I can use a gun, I can use a sword, and I can tackle and bite. Silver here brought me along, and I have fought alongside Silver before. I dint know anything about airships or islands, but uh… I can also move things and pick things up, if that helps. I’m pretty strong.”

>>178168Ah, sorry for missing that detail
>>178165Mala smiles, and lowers his head to accept more pets. Then he tilts his head into the pets.
Free Rover comes up, places a hoof on Kira’s mane, and pets her.
“You’re a gorgeous creature. I like snakes, and I like mares, and, well, you’re a rather exotic specimen. Like none I’ve ever seen. But I’d bet that even back home, you’d stand out. I wish I could keep one like you.”
>>178167He’s the sexist customs officer that it was “based” for Posey to walk past. He’s the one that lead all of the party members to the room. He’s an NPC from Kira’s story and is present in the room, but will not be going with the party, unlike Mala.
>>178170Oh, that makes sense. The middle "officer" who might suffer later for wasting Brie's time. I have his name wrotten down in the "for later" items
>>178170Kira smiles as she receives the pets. The very end of her tail taps against the ground.
Kira: "So, um...after this mission is over, would you like...to...um..." She taps her hooves together some more, and blushes deeply. "...go on a...date?"

(When I do this, players can contest with their spot check to notoce)
(Its fine if u dont wanna/care, Im just inviting characters to use skills to glean subtext)
Sorry, this is a rant:
One of the biggest issues with non-vidya rpgs is the inability to interface. By that, I mean the GM is the only interface.
I think thats horseshit.
I think players should responsibly commit to being an interface, in a manner of speaking. Calling out possible checks and things, knowing what the character is doing and keeping it open to other players
So to this end, I apologize if its annoying at times, any time Brie rolls a skill - even a minimal story/context one (like not betraying you know something) Ill do a bluff/whatever check

[1d20 = 20]
(Sorry, touchy, it is cool tho)
>>178266YOU CROSSED A DAMN LINE
For fuck's sake, I can't even reply to characters in conversation because of all the spam posts.
>>177965Rosey Ring walls up to Kira, and smiles
"I can't say I know what it's like to go into battle without a Mark. I think I could conjure up something to give you some confidence though."
Her horn glows moment aaaaand ZAP
Rosey Ring casts Create Magic Tattoo from her spellstitching (I keep forgetting that I can do that). She inscribes a false cutie mark on Kira's tail, one that looks like a Oroborus eating its tail.
Enjoy +1 deflection bonus to AC for 24 hours
>>178271>reeee, I cant assault players without consequence
>>178160"...And you, Mala. I believe the Angel could smile upon you, just like it did for Agire. May you be mighty in battle and under the eye of the god of your people."
ZAP
She inscribes another false mark on Mala's shoulder, one that appears to be a peacock's tail feather
Mala enjoys +1 Luck bonus to Attack Rolls for 24 hours.
"Such magnanimity. Its good to know Im in such stable and reliable company."
"What? It's reassuring! When one deals with scoundrels as I do, one becomes somewhat predisposed - I giess - to the idea that theres always someone out to get you. What a relief that I can dispense with such worries amongst such fine ponies. And non-ponies, with respect," he says nodding in turn to Mala, Kira, and Rose.
>>178273Mala smiles to Posey, and presumably flinches at the static discharge, or equivalent feeling, from Posey’s touch
>>178274I’mma smite u
>>178276Mala looks over to Brie
>>178272Are you sure you want to keep doing this?
>>178277Brie looks back
"You should have more confidence in yourself. Don't be bashful, you're surrounded by your supporters. Be brave." ^_~
>>178277Do it coward, for I already have won
>>178279Okay, have it your way.
>>178276Rosey Ring walks up to the bat, smiling calmly
"And you........ YOU'RE THE MANGO-ZIGGER WHO ROBBED ME THIS MORNING!" Her face suddenly twists in rage and a crimson halo appears above behind her head in a corona of dying stars
Rosey Ring reaches out with a deadly boop attack with a Ghoul Touch, with Charnel Touch
Roll a will saving throw vs Frightful Presence (DC 22)
Touch attack roll. If it hits your AC, make a Fortitude saving throw (DC 19). If it misses, she holds the charge and we can roll initiative to continue to the next round.
[1d20+7 = (16+7) = 23]
>>178282GM, handle this bitch
>>178282Yeah, that hits
Damage from negative energy.
[1d8+1 = (4+1) = 5]>>178283This is what I'm doing, in character. You threatened to kill me, well now is your chance.
Roll Will vs Shaken and Fortitude vs Paralysis
>>178284Faff all you want, clean up when youre done
*Breathes in*
Fine. Fuck it. You wanted this. So let’s do it.
On a street corner in Baltimare as a small mare waits for a bus so she can go to work. She stands waiting alone, as she always does. But all of a sudden…
Someone hits her in the nose. Nopony apologizes. The assailant must have run. She only knows that someone disrespected her space and assaulted her. The little creature turns and walks away, crying.
>>178283Yes
>>178282Staaaahp
>>178284Staaaaaaaaaahp
>>178280Mala looks back, smiles, and wags his tail.
>>178286This is why Brie wants to control Baltimare,so this doesnt happen
Also. smiles and a wave to Mala
>>178286No, NO you bastard. SHE DESERVES LOVE.
I will love Nadir this campaign. You cannot stop me.
>>178286>StaaaahpOh fine, I can a retcon for the sake of peace, GM, but if this coward is going to keep threatening to kill my character OOC I'm going to snap his neck in-character. If he wants to keep fucking around, he should roll some saving throws to find out. It's just so annoying.
>Someone hits her in the noseWhen I rise to power, this subpony will be the first to be skeletonized.
>>178291>retconFancy way of admitting you were flying off half cocked. But if you want me to inevitably have to kill your character, go ahead with the faffing again.
>>178292Then roll you saving throws and we can finish this.
You are not flat footed: You get an attack of opportunity, if you dare take it.
>>178293You dont seem to care what happens to this scenario if this plays out. To the other players, and the GM I mean
You seem to care more about,... is it pride?
>>178271Kira lets out an "eep!" from the surprise and feeling of being touched by magic. She bends and curves around to look at where Rosey cast on her tail, and gasps. She holds her cheeks between her hooves,, and her eyes grow big. "Oooooooooooooooo..." She looks on and examines this false cutie mark with silent wonderment.
>>178294>to the other players, and the GM I meanWeren't you just threatening to kill all of us an hour ago?
If you fail that Fortitude save, I will gladly snap your neck the following round and deal with the consequences later. If I get chased our of town or destroyed, so be it.
So roll your saving throws if you want to keep fucking around. There's no way you have 24 touch AC.
>>178298No, I informed you that forcibly co.pelling my character with a spell would result in him deciding to kill everyone
>>178294>>178300Bro offered to retcon the shit and let bygones be bygones. Can we drop the shit and maybe actually get started on stuff?
>>178291The subpony that was hit on the nose or the subpony that did it?
I’ll reiterate that Brie shouldn’t know there was a charm attempt, but if we need to retcon
that then sure.
>>178292Just stop
>>178300For the 90th time the spell has the same effect as a super powered diplomacy roll. It’s not actual mind control.
>>178289Mala is waved atMala smiles.
>>178290Good luck.
>>178301The term retcon implies he was entitled to do so in the first place. It is well established he didnt. Apparently the rules lawyer needs to learn his place.
>>178302>subpony that did it?The assailant.
>>178303If it's not retconned, roll saving throws. Otherwise shut the fuck up.
As GM pointed out earlier, players control their characters.
>>178304I will happily roll when youre GM
>>178305So, PVP applies outside what the GM wants when (You) threaten to kill the whole party, but not when someone else attacks you?
You're so full of hot air.
Your character probably doesn't even have any attacks that could damage Posey. All your threats are empty, and now that you've been put on the spot you chicken out.
So either drop the bullshit and say it didn't happen so we can go back to normal roleplay, or roll saving throws and say it did so I can get rid of you. Your call.
>>178301GM is busy today, and this weekend. I don't think we'll be able to start the adventure.
>>178297Rosey Ring smiles and nods
"The Ouroboros is a symbol of eternity among the Naga Sorceresses. It's mark should grant you protection."
>>178277"The Eye Of The Simurgh: it will guide you in battle and help you strike true."
It's a bit late to ask, but do actual Cutie Marks do anything?
>>178266Rosey Ring gasps at this sudden inter-party violence
>>178306You spin words like Kamala. I never threatened the party, I said that casting a compulsive spell on my character around ponies who tacitly allow it would cause him to go red.
It wouldnt be immediate either. I would partner with GM to teach (you) a lesson. Im TRYING to teach you one now. I dont have to, GM ruled fuck ur bullshit. But I am trying to be of service, if tongue in cheek
>>178309Roll saves or shut up
>>178311Or nothing. It's a fantasy land. Nothing we do here matters.
So participate, or don't. Your call.
>>178312Somehow I think I'll take my cues from the GM, all considered. Your advice has been inspiring
HOPEFULLY THAT WILL HAVE BEEN ENOUGH FFS
>>178309Nigger, even
Brie would be unaware that the spell was cast, and again, it isn’t true compulsion, it’s a super powered diplomacy roll. Ain’t no one “tacitly allowing it” except
you by honoring what you could just ignore.
>>178308Zebra on Zebra violence. It’s a true shame.
>>178308This isn't what I wanted! I wanted to love the previous mare! I swear!
In the corner, the zeeb seems like he's wondering when the group is gonna get moving, or at least to a less stuffy office
>>178138From a couple years ago, DM mentioned that bits are worth about 4 times as much as 1990 dollars. This isn't as much as a GP, but bits in the setting have been inflated.
>Equestria at War changed Hyenia to “Qualidi Dervishes,” which are a permutation of diamond dog and ironically closer to D&D gnolls than my interpretation here in their physical appearance, but are “Harmonic,” probably just to be contrarian, as every single African and Western depiction of Spotted Hyenas from tribal legends to The Lion King is negative prior to 2010s revisionism.Hyenas deserve the negative reputation. EaW's dev team is just full of trannies.
>>178150Silver is a unicorn
>>178163That's a lot of secondary characters
>>178244>I'm happy to play out the scenario where halfway theough the mission Brie realizes hes been played, and kills everyone (or tries)Even the evil-aligned necromancer sorceress from a land thought to be mythical is not as belligerent as this.
>>178282pls no fite
>>178286kek
>>178290Nadir deserves a loving purebred stallion to father her quadroon foals.
>>178306>It's a bit late to ask, but do actual Cutie Marks do anything? In FiM, cutie marks don't really do anything themselves out of some special circumstances, they just show a pony's path in life. It's free lore fluff for characters.
>>178313>I think I'll take my cues from the GMGM told you that you had no way of knowing the charm targeted you.
GM told you it was a "super powered diplomacy roll" that you could just ignore.
GM told you to stop spam rolling.
GM told you to stop spamming the thread.
GM told you to "Just stop".
So take those cues.
>>178315I'm sorry, GM. I shouldn't have engaged.
Getting back to the adventure, Rosey Ring inquired earlier about transportation to the site as well as the location of the adventure. When you have time, let's work out those details.
>>178316>This isn't what I wanted!Future zombie in the watermelon fields is worried.
>>178316>In the corner, the zeeb seems like he's wondering when the group is gonna get moving, or at least to a less stuffy officeRosey Ring cautiously approaches the Zebra and asks him what magic you have repaired.
Also, I guess you are entitled to make a Knowledge (Religion) check to recognize Posey as an immaculately well-preserved undead.
If you succeed, I may have to charm you to keep you quiet :p
>>178316>This isn't what I wanted! I wanted to love the previous mare! I swear!Uh huh. Yet it’s the world you created. You made the small mare cry. You made her feel violated and even smaller and more alone than she already is. How does it feel? Does it feel good? Do you feel proud of yourself?
>Hyenas deserve the negative reputationWhile depictions of Spotted Hyenas are universally negative, Stripped Hyenas occasionally have neutral or even positive depictions in Persian and other depictions. Hence why the Kaftar in my world are less evil.
>Even the evil-aligned necromancer sorceress from a land thought to be mythical is not as belligerent as this.This.
>Nadir deserves a loving purebred stallion to father her quadroon foals. All of my thises. Where is Dark Star when you need him?
>>178318>locationThe several pages of description about the location are the closest to being finished. I could just post that and wait on the other details.
I kind of wanted to give player characters an opportunity to interact with each other, but that doesn’t seem to have been fruitful…
>>178317>Hyenas deserve the negative reputation. EaW's dev team is just full of trannies.Hyenas are just predatory animals. They're hardly worse than wolves, lions or other carnivores.
Gnolls on the other hand definitely deserve it, as their entire culture revolves around the gospel of wasteful violence. Gnolls kill off humanoids and wildlife faster than they can eat them.
>That's a lot of secondary charactersAt this rate I'll never get them anyway.
>Even the evil-aligned necromancer sorceress from a land thought to be mythical is not as belligerent as this.Professionals have standards.
>pls no fireI'll try.
>Nadir deserves a loving purebred stallion to father her quadroon foals.AGREED.
>In FiM, cutie marks don't really do anythingI understood them as giving you a special talent, but maybe they just represent that talent.
>>178319You do NOT want him to know you are undead. You will recieve the host of his power straight up the ponut and it will not be pretty. So for now we'll just say he chalks up her strange appearance to not being a fellow zeeb. I mean there's literally a snej right there."Some banes, some boons
Some meant to make my foes act baffoons.
For now I focus on the fight
And prep to be the healing light.
For friends whose weapons aren't up to class
A few to make them of top brass."
>>178321Now I am sad. I feel like a bad person :(
>>178322I understand cutie marks to be the physical manifestation of one's natural affinities or talents. It's less that they impart the skill onto you, and more that they're an external showing of what your skill is. Not you career either. I've had ideas for characters who's cutie mark was something wild compared to what they're doing. Probably because of a draft or something.
>>178322>Hyenas are just predatory animals. Stripped Hyenas are genuine dedicated carrion eaters
>agreeing to Nadir having a thoroughbred breed herHow do you even know who Nadir is?
>>178323>Straight up the ponut
uwu>I feel like a bad personYou should
>>178323>You do NOT want him to know you are undead. You will recieve the host of his powerSince I prefer to avoid PvP scenarios, I will gladly work together with you to sort out this conflict of character motivations in a way that is in-character for both of us. I came into the game knowing it was possible for Rosey Ring's Undeath to be a point of contention in the party, so I made it so that the fact could be easily hidden from those not actively seeking it.
Posey was chosen for this mission because her vampiric heritage makes her appear more like a loving thing than most (half vampires with high charisma scores look more like living things, which technically applies after Undeath as well).
Posey has a high bluff and disguise mod, so so long as we don't spam-roll opposed checks, we can say your Cleric may not recognize Posey.
To avoid unnecessary conflict, please refrain from casting Detect Undead. Posey is a Necrologist, so tactically she would volunteer to cast any spells concerning the undead and suggest that the Cleric channel that slot into healing instead.
>>178324>How do you even knowAll mares deserve foals.
>I prefer to avoid PvP scenarios
<Stop the cap
>>178324>How do you even know who Nadir is?To be fair, she is literally the OP image.
>>178329Hard to argue that
>>178321>location are the closest to being finishedDid they answer about transportation? I take it they don't want us using military vehicles, but Rosey Ring doesn't really want to go buy her own (she has never driven any kind of vehicle).
