Jus being honest, i didnt know the sword was +2 until I offered it,... still on the table
>>178897>>178892Silver looks to Mala, to see if he would like a magic short sword before Silver says anything.
>>178896Somehow, Kira is especially happy about the zebra being comfortable around her. She's growing really fond of Dust, and hopes he'll consider her a friend before long.
>>178896>Posey has definitely marked herself in Dust's eyes though, she might want to watch herself. There is only one way to fix this then.
Rolling to seduce
[1d20+8 = (16+8) = 24] >>178898"It was intended for you, Mala, before things got complicated"
Zone of truth is still in effect
For Nrie, only, apparently,.. cuz hes thenonkt aus
Alright Dust. Time to roll your saving throw.
>>178898>>178900Mala looks up at Silver and then Brie. He’s an overweight adult male who is as tall as Silver and taller than Brie. It’s impossible for him to look cute, or adorable. But he tries.
>>178899>>178902...
scrunchI'm gonna assume will saving throw?
[1d20+12 = (13+12) = 25] >>178902>>178905There's only one problem with that description: Mala
is cute and adorable.
Silver: "I believe what Mala is trying to convey to you while being too shy to say so is 'yes, I would like that sword very much, thank you'."
>>178904Darn...
Pic related: Dust right now
I'll corrupt you to the path of depravity some day. You'll see.
>>178905Pic related.
>>178904HE WON. HE FUCKING WON>>178907Mala tilts his head.
>>178908You’ll get ‘em next time.
>>178908We'll see there buddy, for now the cleric remains untainted, free to purify another day.
He does soften a little though, perhaps there's just a misunderstanding. After all, these ponies have such strange ways and manners of speech. If he didn't know better he'd think Posey just tried to seduce him.
"I could probably pawn it, but like a good book I prefer to pass it on."
>>178911>"Darn, this one is a tough cookie. August snapped like a twig, but this one isn't even giving an inch. Maybe I'll have to up my game..."Rosey Ring thinks internally
>>178912"Well, I would gladly take it, if you're not using it, that is..."
Rolling bluff to disguise the blatant all-consuming greed in her voice
[1d20+14 = (7+14) = 21] >>178912Street Preacher:
“Hey, that’s my name! That’s the spirit!”
Mala smiles, and wags his tail. He comes closer to Brie, but stops at the edge of the zone of truth, and does not come any closer.

>>178914It is expressly and gestured to be for Mala. It is only not theirs if they do not take it
>>178914How long does it take for the truck to arrive at the plane?
Just for the record, Brie is more forthright, more generous, more unequivocal, and more darkng with sensitive info than,
.. all y'all
"Hey, you didnt reiterate and answer a bunch of dumb questions"
Maybe cuz I/he didnt lir the first timr
>>178915Mala looks down at the edge of the zone of truth, then back up at Brie. He leans forward. Then he extends his right paw out for the sword, stretching his black paws and brown legs as far forward as he can without falling over, and extending his tail to balance himself out
>>178916When we’re done with the interaction. In game tone it’s a very short journey.
>>178916>>178914Also, what is the time of day?
>>178919Brie rethinks the wisdom of this whole mission
>>178919"That sword looks good on you. Use it well." Rosey Ring says to Mala
"So while the spell is still in effect, I'll also say unequivocally. I am not under the complicit or implicit control of any agency or group. I have no interest in the betrayal of any involved pony. I do work with changelings, but this has no bearing on this mission. The ONLY reason I MIGHT lose my shit is if > discovered my will had been involuntarily compromised
"Barring that, we're wasting time. Tell the quartermaster to bring all the smoke canisters, if we're tk save ponies."
>>178914"So, my priestly fellow, what god do you serve? I hear the imprisonment of the princesses has been difficult on harmonists."
>>178923Rosey Ring leans back into the Zone of truth.
"Research shows that ponies named after cheese are 9001% more likely to be homosexuals."
>>178926"And the faggits who want to throw shade are disguised necrophiles"
Brie is still in The zone of truth
>>178928"Huh. Interesting fact. Throwing shade is rude. I would never do that."
Rosey Ring tosses her mane elegantly
"Did you know societies led by ponies with white fur are proven to have higher GDP?" she says, still in the Zone Of Truth
>>178932>>178933Silver steps into the truth zone, and glares at both ponies.
Silver: "You are both being petty and foalish. You are both professional adults, act like it. Every second you spend bickering between each other is another second of those navy ponies' lives wasted when they have hardly any to spend. Now, you can spend as long as you like arguing with each other after mission is done, but until then get on that truck if you are coming before I drag you both to it by your ears like you are my foals."
>>178934Posey paws her hoof in the air
"Oh fine, let us get to work. We wouldn't want our colts to catch a cold." She says, stepping back in the truck
>>178931>You can still lie in the zone of truth>plus also all of those lies Posey said earlier but don't appear in the last fifty postsThis is actually a pretty interesting way to nerf magic spells so that way they don't have any negative effects on the setting. I hadn't thought of nerfing zone of truth that way, but it's an interesting concept that I should consider
>>178919>>178921>>178922Mala stops leaning forward, realizing he's not going to be able to reach the sword that way. Instead, he darts forward, picks up the short sword, and then runs out of the zone of truth and to the truck
>>178924>>178923Shoal Water nods
"Get in the truck. We're going pony saving."
>>178920If I give an exact time, it'll lead to a whole examination of how much time Posey, Kira, and Silver took for their various diversions, then how much time was spent in the room, then how fast a DC-3 can fly and refuel, how great the distance is, what time of day sunset occurs at whatever latitude bjornholm is at that time of year, what latitude the island even is at, the time of day, the effect of the fog to reduce light....
It's later in the day than your character would like it to be.
>>178925He shakes his head
"It''s hard on all of us, but Harmony is in all of us, not just the Princesses or the Mane Six, you see..." He pulls out a brown book with a unicorn head on its cover, and starts a conversation that Posey almost certainly wished she avoided.
>>178839"If they are political prisoners, some could be valuable assets, though talking with them might be an issue.">>178871Cavaliere senses motive on this, suspicious of so many denials. You know my modifiers, let's try out a secret roll.
Also, he asks Brie,
"Can I trust you to not harm surrendering sailors or other noncombatants?">>178892Plating hurts the value.
>>178902I always thought of Mala as being really short.
>>178904Saved by one, kek
Also that's a
really strong will save modifier, how did you get that high?
Sorry for being behind.
>>178936>"Get in the truck. We're going pony saving"We could have adjourned on this, I blame the marketing dept
https://youtu.be/uB1D9wWxd2w?si=pu-TqS87nTm47yI1 >>178936>lie in the zone of truthZone of Truth is an absolute meme spell. You have no way of telling if the enemy passed their saving throw. They're not even under any compulsion to tell you anything.
Also, it's mind-affecting.
>It's later in the day than your character would like it to be.Reeeeeeeeee
>Posey almost certainly wished she avoided.Oh, I know how to deal with this.
"I do have to get to work now, but I really wish I could stay."
She leaves with a swish of her tail, and gives a wink before she reenters the truck
Rolling to seduce the other priest
[1d20+8 = (14+8) = 22] "I can tell you as a muon user I havent the faintest clue what you just saod"
>>178939>meme spellYou didn't roll a saving throw.
>SeductionGood Book:

"Until next time, Good Book. We'll talk about religion some other day." She says, as she leaves
Okay
Legit
Are we going to start the crawl tonight? I need to know if I want to sip this energy drink or not.
>>178944Your character has a mind>>178945No combat until tomorrow at the soonest.
I’m happy to attempt the flight to at least Manehattan though
>>178946Its not too late to shoot ponies, let me know
>>178946>I’m happy to attempt the flight to at least Manehattan thoughAlright. I can stay up for that.
Waits for results on my sense motive roll opposed to Posey's save
Cavaliere also enters the truck. I assume it's a military-style truck with all of them on two benches facing each other?
He remarks to Posey, "You didn't strike me as the religious sort."
>>178949"The study of religion and philosophy is adjacent to my trade. You have to know these sorts of things when you do my kind of job."
>>178937I missied this interactiom
Brie would abandon all secrecy and respond with "Yea, ffs, Im not a.... okay I "sometimes" kill ponies. But they desrrved it!"
>>178941He's not GAY REEEEEEEE
>>178937Where DID I get it that high? I'm looking at my sheet, my stats, and the cleric info and I have no idea where I came up with the number I did, it's not even a case of adding my will bonus twice or something.
I think I'm just retarded.
>>178953Roll again with the real modifier
Oh, we're favoring the roll with baps?
>>178950"We might not be in the Zone of Truth anymore, but what are your personal beliefs regarding it, if I may ask?">>178952Cavaliere narrow his eyes.
"Let's leave such decisions to the group if we have to make them. I won't have any of us be freelance executioners just because we are on a deserted island outside the rule of law.">>178953Okay so you're seduced, but it's non-binding as a PC. I do think any suspiciously high modifier in a low-level game ought to be questioned.
>>178955Unf picture, but you know you're in for a bad romance.
Okay, first of all, if someone steals my 179000 post to make a new thread, their character has a debuff for the entire thread
Second, your character is affected by mind-affecting spells. If you want to say she isn't, we can set your character's Intelligence to 0 and adjust her skills and character sheet accordingly.
Second, rolls are not secret from the GM
Now that we can get to business...
All of the creatures get into the truck. Shoal Water gets into the front. Mala gets in and sits near Silver, but is less averse to Kira now. He examines the short sword.
The truck drives through town and to the edge. At some point, it comes to a fenced off area that has a guard booth. The truck is allowed through, and onto a field with pavement. There are a few buildings adjacent to it, but it's not a big facility.
They are let out of the truck.
There are about three single prop planes with blue paint. Posey may recognize them as of the same variety, and likely including the same plane, as the trainer she saw in the swamps further south.
>>178958Rosey Ring gets out of the truck
>>178958Kira: "So
this is what planes look like up close...they aren't as intimidating as I imagined them. Kinda like flying boats with the spiny things on the wings instead of behind them."
Silver: "It will be my first plane ride as well. I suppose since there are so many of us, three planes were asked for to transport us all north?"
Can Rosey try to exit the plane while its flying? Just curious
>>178958>rolls are not secret from the GMIf this is in reference to
>>178937, I meant that
you should roll in secret and hide the results from me while giving me a description. It's more of a test since OOC we all know Posey is lying, but it would be fun. The results of this roll will also affect Cavaliere's attitude. If you don't want to roll let me know and I'll roll openly myself.
>>178960"I would hazard to guess that. It's an odd choice, three smaller planes instead of one larger one. It could be that the Captain doesn't want to risk all of us in case of an accident or other emergency." Shoal Water to Silver:
"Oh no. Not one of those. The Skytrotter. To the right."
It's a twin prop aircraft with a slightly rounded nose, a long fuselage with quite a few windows, an open door with stairs that fold out near the tail, and a green paint scheme. It has insignia of two horseshoes opposed to each other behind the door and before the empennage. It's engines are already on.
Silver may recognize the design as one proposed for a civilian plane before the war which didn't quite pan out economically.
>>178961She can try.
>>178962Oh. Okay.
>>178964Both Silver and Kira look at the plane in question, and in unison go, "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh..." They then look at each other, and share a laugh together. Kira seems a bit disturbed by Cavaliere's description of an accident, but Silver helps to keep her calm and promises to sit next to her. Having a strong pony like Silver nearby seems to help keep her cool and composed. Silver looks back to Mala.
Silver: "Come on, Mala, it is time to fly."
Silver and Kira head for the plane, with Silver getting on first and helping Kira up second. They sit together towards the back of the plane.
Since we're at the plane and all, Brie would exchange words with his Valet, who had dilligently (a d without killing anyone) retrieved his "sensitive" belongings
>>178967Not one to miss an opportunity, after a word the weird Minotaur wanders down the road. She has seen enough
Shoal Water:
"Minor change of plans. Customs didn't want to provide armament. Something about constantly losing ponies and equipment to the 'black hole of Manehattan' or something. That's fine, we can save time anyways. Better to arm at Manehattan. The Naval base there is the center of the entire fleet now, and less will be missed if it leaves."
As the first creatures enter into the plane, they see that the seats face inwards and don't look very comfortable. The area behind the door is a cargo area with netting to keep things from moving into the passenger area. The walls are painted aluminum
A green Pegasus in a blue uniform standing in the door of the cockpit greets with "g'day"
>>178963Heh
>>178961I considered this.
I have a lot of hit points, but 20d6 is still more on on average than my full HP, but far.
>>178970>g'day"Good day." Rosey Ring replies politely, seating herself
"Every fucking time" Brie mutters
>>178970Kira replies with "g'day!" with a giggle as she copies the pony's accent. Silver has a chuckle at this and nods his greeting at the pony. Kira looks at the netting in teh cargo area, and wonders if she can repurpose some of it as a sort of seat belt to keep
her from sliding about in the passenger area. She's got a lot less friction on these sorts of hard surfaces than ponies, after all.
In addition, seeing the seating arrangements, Kira is still more than willing to lend her tail as a more comfortable bench seat for the party members.
>>178974Silver: "We are still getting our supplies, Brie, it just means we are getting them in Manehattan rather than getting them here."
>>178970Cavaliere is a bit surprised by this.
"Your superiors won't come down on you for that?""Would you happen to be our pilot? I'm not sure how much the Captain has briefed you, but I am sure he has given us the best available." >>17897720d6 is the maximum fall damage you can take.
Rosey Ring is not invincible.
>>178962Shoal Water:
"Oh don't worry. Flying is pretty safe."
>>178967The pegasus pilot says,
"Woah Woah. We've had enough planes explode in mid air to know better than to allow passengers to just carry suspicious packages onto a plane without checking them first."
>>178976Shoal Water:
"The less we use, the better."
Pegasus
"Oh yeah, I'm pilot for this flight. We'll be going to Manehattan, offloading some cargo and refueling, then off to Trottingham Naval Base, which is our final destination."
>>178980Brie looks off into a direction. Almost a direction one would expect a camera to be positioned, except there isnt one.
"I dont want to HAVE to kill this pony," he says out loud
>>178964Still waiting on what Cavaliere would perceive.
>>178980"We'll just have to make sure Brie doesn't rob the base armory of its claw grenades." He looks askance at Brie before turning back to the pilot.
"Trottingham is close to the Stalliongrad border, isn't it?" >>178981Rosey Ring looks at the fourth wall after Brie's statement
"What do you say chat? Should I kill this bat? Let's set the donor goal at 1000 bits."
>>178983"Yes. And Ill steal your knickers cuz wahey mischief. Fucking nonce."
>>178981Pilot:
"You know as well as I do that the former Governor of Manehattan was killed when his plane exploded three months ago. It was a bomb, and it was on a plane just like this one. I ain't here to get blown up. I'm here to fly the plane."
>>178983Cavaliere would perceive that Posey never rolled a will save throw and therefor couldn't have done that bullshit.
Pilot:
"Yeah, somewhat. Don't worry, we will keep east of it. But if you see Stalliongradian fighters out the windows, let us know."
>>178984Oh right, cuz u have followers
>>178981>>178984Silver: "AHEM!" Silver clears his throat loudly at the two bickering creatures, looking at them both with a glare before looking right at Brie. "I am trying to convince Kira that air travel is just as safe as sea travel, and making mention of killing our pilot is not helping."
>>178987>never rolled a will save throw and therefor couldn't have done that bullshit.I believed myself to be immune. I wouldn't have done that if I had known I wasn't.
Will
[1d20+9 = (12+9) = 21]I'm going to open up Terrors Of The Deadlands and check out the "no immunity to mind affecting" undead weakness to check what its offset was. Then I'll adjust my sheet accordingly.
>>178988Magehold is scrying on her through her necrotic cyst. They seem to mostly just demand that she fucks or kills more priests.
>>178987Okay…
Though, besides the suspiciously specific denials, some of which are not even related to necromancy, she mentioned not prostituting herself for magic favors, and
immediately started seducing a cleric. Quite odd, but I'll play along.
>>178991No, he means he didn't
see her struggle to lie. There's a difference.
>>178987"If their fighters crossed the border, we would have worse things to worry about than what we need to do," he replies plainly.
"You've done the pre-flight checks? We need to be on our way immediately." Pay attention to the post numbers
>>178993Silver smiles at the bat. "Thank you."
>>178987Does the plane have to fly over water to get to Manehattan?
>>178991No. No. No. Fuck no.
Your Character is already Powergamed bullshit that I'm 90% sure you cheated on the ability scores for and which multiple players have complained about. Which
I have complained about. I'm not adding "Immune to all mind affecting magic" to that list of bullshit superpowers.
>>178999Flares eyebrows at and says nothing for now
