Silver allows this movement, at least, as it's to his advantage. He keeps the shotgun levelled steady, and meets the pony's awkward smile with a hardened, determined glare. Silver keeps an eye on the stallion's horn to make sure he doesn't pull any magic shenanigans.

Let’s go with a wisdom based roll. Silver could also just try to direct the gun down, or use his hoof, while using magic for the revolver.
