>>174315after having played 2 more games and failed them both due to bullshit civil wars, I have decided that this game simply isn't for me. I'm going to stick to playing a game that's actually winnable, like stellaris.
>>174317Civil wars? in your faction or?
>>174318in my country. The AI would always take more than half of my army and immediately use it to start taking my territory, all while I'm still waiting for my army to go to the front line that their troops all immediately spawned on. I decided to have fun with a cheated hyper-tech finland though, and after re-establishing the Finnish Khaganate and moving to seize both Mongolia through Russia and Korea through Japan, I think I'm starting to not hate this game.

Lol, /mlpol/ is a lich. Its dead, but its also very alive and active and shit
>when younger brother - who never played the original - gets the silver katana in the Fable remastered tutorial
>>176778I think the foalcon scared people off. Also, mlpol needs more political discussion.
>>177399What it needs is pony threads, even shitpost pony threads. There's quite a few /pol/ threads already.
Also, maybe clean up the shittier boards. All of /ub/, /cyb/ and even /vx/ could be shitcanned and replaced with something better.
>>177399What about this thread suggested that this is the correct place to voice a concern?
Hey everyone, it's been a while. Did you know resting on God or near God or with God, is not the same as resting in God?
It's not the same.
One can imagine resting anywhere with God as we are to come boldly to His throne. It's like huffing thin water vapor with important ingredients and calling that a full ocean of water.
So, imagining going into Jesus as if He is a gate (and he is) reaching our Father and then doing the same into our Father.
There's a detectable difference. Resting inside of God. As if even if all the world falls apart and rises to full hostility, there's peace and an enduring love I didn't think I have for all especially for the enemies who would do the worst to me and mine and everyone else.
There's an unbridled joy constant and growing.
Before talking with God happened, but it was clinical as if I was deaf unable to hear the emotions.
Only able to get the content and context that imply a deep loving emotion, without feeling.
Now healing that deafness.
You are loved.

>>181298Faerie Fire is a spell in Dungeons and Dragons. You know /vx/ is a roleplay and gaming board, right?
As uh, as a proud, Bat colt, ahm tarred of all the raycism in MLP. Ahm tarred of all the negative stereotypes surrounding my race, you feel me?
Just because bats are responsible for over half of the blood drinking of other species, doesnt mean that all bats are vanpires. And, lets stop with the mango stereotypes, ya dig? I mean, mangoes are fire, but still. It ain't like we ALL like mangoes,... ya got any? (Scratch scratch)

Allow me to spin you the tale of team Judas?. Yes, you read that correctly.
Yes, this is a back-handed blogpost, except it kinda isn't, which is the troll.
It was a team fortress clan. No, not the gay half-life one, the original. Back when the maps had testicular fortitude, there were ample sploits for the smarties, and if you fucked up you exploded everywhere. this is mid 90s. QUAKE Team Fortress. Well, there was a clan. They never WON any tournies, but they earned their stripes. They went by the name "Who Shall Be Judas?". The principle was that if it ever became A. expedient or B. Funny to either kill (on pvp servers) or launch (on frenly fire servers), it was not only expected, but priced in and do it. It wasn't an ACTUAL betrayal (though we would portray it as such in chat), it was more about the theatre of it.
I mentioned sploits right? I was a sniper. Did (you) know of course (you) don't, being likely too young to be hot in the TF servers at the time; ask Joe Rogan about quake that if you aligned the target reticle along the vertical axis of another player - any player - then a sniper shot will somehow automatically count as a headshot? No one ELSE figured this out, and I certainly didn't say shit about it,... anyway, alot of people blew up. Sometimes frens, sometimes foes, sometimes both, and 0 exceptions were given (except the servers where frenly fire was disabled).
Oh yeah, and team heavy was another formation that made bitches cry
Imagine peeking out your base and seeing a sniper off in the distance. Snipers are particular, you have to watch for the X reticle that indicates where the shot will land. But this one doesn't seem pointed at anywhere viable, In fact, a very observant player might notice that THIS sniper's reticle is pointed at the ceiling. The CEILING? What an idiot.
Until they crossed the axis. It didn't matter. As long as it landed on the vertical axis. I was fucking Sasuke with that thunder lion from the heavens technique. Everyone exploded. No one knew what was coming except those who had seen this move before, and they still died. Cuz he was paying attention to your awareness of his technique, and everytime he showed technique, next time he was in position to counter the counter to his technique. Except the frenly servers, where teammates only got yeeted.
Mr. Bob is what I went by in those days
Fun fact for gamers and audiophiles
First reference, Sam Reigel from Critical Role; yes Scanlan. Yes, he plays other epic roles, but dude Scanlan.
For the Audiophiles, Les Miserables. Remember the little scamp in the rebel squad, the one who gets shot while trying to mine gold?
Original cast, yes, that's Sam Reigel.
