"For two?" One of them says in that strange, high pitched voice Diamond Dogs are known for. He's taller than Amber by a pretty massive margin and has a wide chin and rather long lips. The diamond dog with him is clearly a female, and has a longer muzzle and thinner head.

Spark continues down the road. What all is there to see? Is the city starting to decay with the ponies under lockdown, or are they forced to upkeep?

This is a little hard to tell. The road Spark went down is not a commercial avenue with shops along the side, but rather a curving road where in most areas the land on the left is higher than on the right. There are occasionally apartment buildings, warehouses, and less often shops, although these tend to have parking for carts. Most buildings are brick, no more than three stories, and almost everything except the road surface has at least some cover of snow. There is some smoke from chimneys and more than one cart passes by, not stopping or looking back. No buildings seen thus far have obvious signs of being hit by artillery.
