"My family...well, I suppose I should start with my parents. My father, Molotok Mechov, was quartermaster in Royal Guard before I was born. He was biggest, strongest Earth Pony you have ever seen. After he met my mother, he retired from Guard work and became blacksmith, and he is pony who trained me in ways of warrior. My mother was unicorn noble from Trottingham, she was rather frail and kept out of sight by her affluent family. She ran away with my father after he had saved her from fire in her family's manor house. I never knew her, she passed away giving birth to me.
