Torcuil has spent the last spent the last hour at a fever pitch of activity, grabbing books, discarding them, shuffling papers, analyzing diagrams,... he knows he's on the verge of something, and something big. Tracy continues to try and vie for Trump's attention with a variety of methods. Let's not forget that Trump is a 6'2" human, and Tracy is,... what, 3'6" standing upright? Thez has fallen asleep in her zombie-bath, and dusk approaches.

So Trocuil places the last of his six diagrams on/about the circumference of the dais. Its a good thing he used six instead of three (as the diagrams indicated) because otherwise this never would have worked (he rolled a f'ing 95 after a 20). So in spite of all that is going on, a huge thunderous orb-spark-fire of thunder and rage appears at the center of the dais. It arcs to various designated points along the diagrammed area, and small shoots of sparks and "electricity" (anti-magic, but your characters have never seen anything like it so its unfamiliar). These sparks and shoots run along the overwhelming bulk of the exposed glassy surface, which begins to internally glow as a result.
The entire building, at accentuated points, begins to glow, hum, and then come to a resting silence.

As Trump comes finally in the presence of He who is Football, but not himself fully Football doth Trump; and as Torcuil tests the capacity of this new magic form he has been led unto (which is tied to Football Xp), and as Tracy who;: whether she is seeing Trump as a true and legitimate personage (which in game-terms is absurd) or whether she is interpreting him along a particular ideological frame-work (which, well its Tracy), I'm kinda playing it touch and go

Torcuil, from his position, can see that the dais has been engulfed in a sphere which the platform allows him to stand in. He can see a weird flashing red light on the inside of the sphere, but through the sphere,... again this is all weird.

Lets talk game mechanics for a moment. The natural 20 rule is not rigid in the case of attack rolls. A keen-edged weapon is one such example. A keen edge allows a weapon to deal critical damage (normally a natural 20) on a 19-20 roll. There are many other buffs/attributes that can further increase this threshold

I think Tracy could encompass a slight berserker buffs as well: situational boosts could fit her, depending on her temperament.

Now that the field is up, I can tell you what's REALLY going on. The game is fucked sideways. A handful of competing interests decided that the game was 'better' (for (((them)))) if the chaotic element was eliminated. Its long and complicated, but basically there was an agreement among a significant minority to sway the Game in a manner that both stagnated and eliminated any possibility of change or upset (to established order). The Game is in stasis.
