The Baltimare group proceeds in their task of investigating a strange group of creatures, mostly Griffins, who seem to be involved in creature smuggling. Up on the Boulderfield,-Whinnysota line, the northern group settles in for a cold night along with their new friends and prisoners.

Inferno is a fairly precious student at the Canterlot School for gifted unicorns, but, rather than continue on into a graduate program at graduation, she feels drawn to do something about the Changeling menance, and joins the newly formed security forces of the Central Equestrian Autonomy. She is only there a few months before she is expelled thanks to a few “indiscretions.” She would have been punished, but a superior convinces higher ups to simply let her go. She now decides to either:
Get back to the Changeling border so she can be present at the scene directly. She joins the customs branch of the caretaker government in the hopes of being assigned to the border. Instead she’s assigned to a port city... Baltimare.

She decides to try to locate Changeling infiltrators. She tries to join the internal security branch of the Blackhooves’s State Security Administration. Rather than send her to a fresh and “hot” district like Manehattan, she’s sent to a backwater as a trainee... Baltimare

For the Northern group it's a matter of figuring which, if any NPCs they want to take along for the ride and which to leave there, then they can proceed to their destination, then if all goes well, back home
For the Southern group.... it's going to be a real struggle to figure out how to unite them back together without it being contrived

He moves such that an arrow otherwise pointed at his face now points towards his lightly armored chest. It hits in a lightly armored spot and sticks in... Just barely not going through, but still stopped. The arrow releases a discharge upon the top of the brown vest, which prevents the creature underneath from being shocked

The door at the end of the room opens slightly, and continues moving open at a slow pace. The paw of the creature reaches through the doorway as she collapses to the ground, bleeding from two massive wounds. Dying.
An arrow flies through the air

It hits a bar on a cage, bounces off, flies past Sipver’s rear cutting off a pair of hairs, and hits an opposite wall after going through another set of bars.
The female leader’s blood, deep red but shaded by the obnoxious yellow light, as well as the ghostly blue, red, and purple of the magic fire, is joined by the blood of the wounded Zekker and Sereby. The male too, lies upon the ground, and though he has a slightly smell of burning hair, he gives an appearance of less lethal wounds

Silver moves her paw just out of the way of the door so he can close it. Then, with not a moment to lose, he gets out his medical supplies.

She is more likely, however, to die from drowning in her own blood as her lungs fill up from the internal bleeding. But the healing potion, expensive to buy for Silver, and soon to be dearly missed, stood this process. The bleeding stops, and the most serious wounds in the organs are sealed, even if not completely healed.
Her eyes open rappidly, looking up at first to Silver, then to the very much open door. She wasn’t expecting this second chance, but she will sure as hell take it
She gets up, stumbles a bit, and tries her best to bolt through the open door
