They wanted to take the random part of /b/ and the flags and no porn of /pol/ in order to make a good board. I just think about what 4chan was 10 years ago. The userbase was smaller, and the quality was higher. Most of the users at 4chan today is not anything to collect or wish for. But there is a small percentage that just don't know there is better places out there.
My take is that 4chan is the home people know about and, it is after all better than reddit, fb and all other "popular" sites out there. But there is so many chans out there that is better with better people. But so many don't know about them.
What we should do is to help those that have been suffering through the decline of 4chan. Those who have been forced to endure because they didn't know where else to go, and the places they knew about were worse. They had the choice between pest and cholera, and 4chan is better than much out there. We have a chance to make chans great again. Save what is worth saving and take them with us to a greener pasture. Where the banners of truth wave and we burn social justice warriors alive.
I might be a bit blackpilled when it comes to 4chan, but I just feel bad for those who still have to endure it because they have no other home that they know of to go to. I wish the old days would become alive again. Sure there was shit posting of low quality back then too, but compared to what is there today it was high quality bad posts.

I don't really know anything about that board and don't have anything against it, I just want to target Cirno and /jp/ style threads and fuck with /jpqa/ some more. But really I think you hit the nail on the head when saying that we can't truly abandon 4chan just yet, any splinter community that wants to survive needs to maintain some kind of presence there so other anons can follow the bread crumbs.

That's why I'm proposing we start targeting shit threads, not just /bant/ cirno threads but shill threads and blacked threads and trap threads and all the other cancer that has infested that place, and start shitbombing them with pones. /mlpol/ has been gradually slowing down over the past few months and if we want to keep it alive I think we need a project, and I think that for the foreseeable future most of our projects are going to necessarily involve reminding 4chan that we exist.

Also, if you were serious I'm fine with leaving desu threads alone, desu is a 4chan tradition that deserves preservation. But unless there's any further objections I say it's open season on the rest of the /jpqa/ threads.
