Amber runs from a police raid. After an intense firefight, Dark Star provides shelter for two young maidens, and Silver takes a lovely Kirin he's had his eyes on to see a movie. Iron retrieves treasure from the mountains, and Spark goes back to the wolf village with the resistance fighter.

The Northern border to Bronzehill is 20 miles away, but it's 20 miles of swamp, and then there is The River to cross. The western border to the Imperial Heart is only 40 miles to the West. There are no bridges crossing the Griffking before the Imperial City. The fastest route East out through Hellquill is the train West to Griffinheim, then East to Hellquill.

The structure is oddly less grand than Amber might have expected. Whereas Equestrian train stations are tall and open, designed to impress visitor when they first enter a city, this train station more functional and economical with space. Rooms are smaller, and the dominate architectural feature is blocks of limestone on the facade, which compliment a wooden interior. The building is two stories in areas, and has the same red tile roof patterning as defines most of the architecture she’s seen.

She scrunches, and then turns her upper body from laying on her back, to laying on her belly, twisting her head, shoulders, and forehooves.
The following takes place almost in slow motion. As Sorrel twists her shoulders, almost like a rope her body winds up, and then unwinds, with her barrel and her hindquarters starting to rotate clockwise, twisting 180 degrees to turn her onto her belly. The problem is that her hind legs are and have been partly extended upright. They move from above, down to her right and off of the side of the bed, until they hang out over the the edge of the bed. And with their weight, the change to her center of gravity, and the momentum of the twisting motion halted by her legs hitting the side of the bed, Sorrel's hindquarters move over and off the side of the bed. And the rest of the pony follows... Her hind falls off, then her belly, and finally her front is dragged off as well. Her eyes widen, she presses her hooves into the mattress... but it isn't enough. Sorrel falls off of the bed and clashes onto the floor.
