Get a new hobby, I guess. What do you like to do?
We'd always appreciate some greentext.
Sad thing it's in Spanish but escritor means writters and pobreza poverty.
You can pretty much guess the other ones, they are really similar to English.
>>613>picWh... why do his balls have balls?
>>616Because he has a mega cock
Well... fuck me, my fimfic writing is postponed for a month. Probably permanently, too, since I never really enjoyed that site.
What now?
>>622Did you consider a different platform?
>>623What other platforms for MLP fanfic are there?
>>6364chan greentext
They save everything in pastebin, a txt download website
>>637Unironically this.
Best way to practice. Plus we'd all appreciate the content.
>>659No text is trash, every text deserves respect even an specially awful text is still a form of art on its own as long as it teaches us a lesson.
You will find greentext really hard to write as you have to synthesize everything in order for it to work out well.
Try it before throwing it.
>>660I always just get on the PC and start writing right away, improvising from the start. I never plan for it, only sometimes translate my fantasies into writing if I do daydreaming.
I am the anon writing green about Colgate. Very sorry for delays but I hit depression recently.
>>661Every so often, I'm reminded of shit like Fallout Equestria and the Nyx story. Absolute trash, but it got big because it happened early in the fandom, and it stayed big because everyone either shilled the fuck out of it or quietly bitched about it instead of shilling better shit. It's like the whole /mlp/ segment of the fandom are circlejerking generalfags that spend their days sitting around in auto-refreshing threads waiting for their greentext writers to give them easily-digestible normie content for free.
>>653But I've written mostly just
erotica >>694Try romance, its a classic whit erotica.
But how do you plan on becoming a writer?
I'm curious as seeing an example of your work.
>>695I'm some other random faggot.
And I'm writing romance already. Not going too great. >>696Did you ever had a romantic experience before, anon? That might help.
>>697How the hell would that matter at all? Can I never write about cartoon horses if I've never been a cartoon horse? Can't I write sci-fi if I've never been an astronaut, held a lightsaber or sniffed some spice melange? Fuck you, man.
>>699What the hell man, calm down
A write should written on matters he know about, you should know this already.
The romance thing was just an example ou dont need to come all triggered to me.
I will not I've you any more advise now, luck dude.
>>699did anon touch a nerve nigel?
>>703Anon, please.
I didn't meant to offend, let us be rational this is a nice board to discuss.
At this point, I think that "lmao haha" aspect of edgychan culture should be dropped. It came from /b/, so it won't be missed.
"Haha you mad" is a shit post that adds nothing to the discussion.
"Lol triggered" is a shit post that adds nothing to the discussion.
Romance-writer anon, go read some good romance novels. Then go read some popular romance fimfics. They're nothing like real relationships, but that's how you write a "Good" romance novel: The fantasy in which two likable characters you want to get together do so. Romance stories are read by the literal lowest common denominator (Even lower than 4chan generalfag greentexts) so you don't need authenticity, you need spectacle. You don't need romantic experience to write a romance novel. So go read some popular romantic stories, and rip them the fuck off.
>>728But I don't even really want to write a romance.
I am writing the story of two highly different characters finding a common note through a shared love for a subject and, as a result becoming increasingly lost in eachother until it culminates in one losing the other after being blinded to the circumstances of their relationship for so long, effectively turning the story into a classical tragedy as they desperately try to recover from their hubris and regain a semblance of their past life through expertise in said subject.I'll give it a minor rewrite after I
read the official show bible, to mostly reflect its canon. >>613Practice on /mlpol/. Anonfilly just moved in.
>>616>hisanon do you not see the tits? this is futa
>>784Can I practice writing here too?
I like to write, but I'm shy so I don't want my flag to show..
>>826Just pick a meme flag on /qa/, or if you want to truly remain anonymous switch to an American flag, as most posters are American. Just about no one frequents /ub/.
>>829I might just move to another country to do that, that seems like a good idea, yes.
