Sad but not unexpected.
Where do I go now for my occasional game of Homesteading Simulator 2011?
Ah shit, you just reminded me of it.
>>5101We had a server?
Oh man I didn't know, I love to autismo.
>>5103As great as Minecraft was and can still be, it's a massive timesink. Most people don't have a whole lot of time to build with blocks and so even a moderately-sized community is often empty. I used to play on a server ran by a Youtuber with 100k subscribers and player count ranged from 0-15. How many do you think would play on this board's server even if openly advertised? It's a lot easier to get productive stuff done (which we like to do) with Discord or a casual game in the background rather than Minecraft which demands more concentration.
Though, this does get me curious: is there a MLP mod for Minecraft?
Shoutout to the guy in the swastika house that made a cool redstone tunnel to my basement.
>>5104Yes. The playermodels are fun.
>>5104I don't disagree with any individual thing you said, but you talk as if minecraft is not worth playing or hosting.
These casual games of yours don't do anything for me to wind down, they're designed to give your brain a breather, a quick burst of dopamine from beating the level, or more often, fueling the addiction that intices you to buy in-game credit. Jewery.
I live in the city, and for me minecraft is halfway between having the time for a walk in that shitty park and having the time to spend a few days in the woods.
I don't have the time to be part of a minecraft community, but it's nice to be able to run in to someone and show off stuff in-person. Heck, even just seeing signs of life scattered throughout the world makes it that much more interesting.
>>5101Where do I go now for my occasional game of Homesteading Simulator 2011? Set up a terraria or starbound server. Those games have pone mods.
I checked it out once and it was completely ded anyway. I like autism blocks, but as an autist myself, I find that I only really have fun with it with a group of like-minded friends. I like to keep things """""realistic""""" when it comes to architecture and such, and that can only really happen when I'm playing by myself (which sucks) or with my three or four closest friends. And they inevitably get board of it anyway after a week or so, so then it dies.
We had this really cool map going on too, and now it's dead too. RiP.
