Say you're hanging out with your best friends. You've known each other for years, you share all your secrets, you'd all fight and die for one another. You're hanging out at Bronze's house, having a few drinks, shooting the shit, when Silver Shield has a fucking break down. Problems at home, can't figure out what he's gonna do with himself, starting to get lonely. He always was kind of the "pure" one. Sort of the innocent child. But everything has been wearing on him lately. He's still pretty young, but life can be hard when you feel all alone. The tears start flowing and he has to excuse himself, doing his best to keep his cool.

It's not gay to walk him home, right? I mean, it is the middle of the night after all. Sure he's a guard, but he needs a friend right now. It wouldn't be gay to give him a big hug when you got to his house, just before you turned to leave, would it? And, it certainly wouldn't be gay when you changed your mind and asked if you should stay in order to make sure he's ok and help him feel better. Or when you took a seat next to him on his couch, and he crawled into your arms, spilling his heart out and seeking warmth and comfort in your embrace. That's not gay, yea? And when you carried him up stairs to lay down in his bed, the little pony asleep and secure in your arms, all snuggled up to you, happy and protected in your presence, it's all good. Even when you finally drift to sleep yourself, your little buddy held firmly in your grasp, his soft, warm body pressed against your own, that wonderful feeling of serenity that can come only from holding another close overtaking you... It's definitely not gay! R-right?!
