>>370563International Criminal Court case against Israel hearing is starting.
First out is South-Africa

>>370563>>370565I see I failed completely in OP with wrong court name and logo.
Israel isn't party to the ICC, so what exactly would this do?
>>370563>South Africa's allegationSouth Africa is controlled by a Russian militia that is backed up by foreign Islamists who want to help the Russians destroy a Western colony, so their allegations will be bullshit. Meanwhile the communists' policy is (and has always been) to commit genocide against the Westerners who founded South Africa. So they are not only liars but hypocrites.
>>370567It can't do much if Israel don't want to abide with the court ruling. But I think the General Assembly in the UN will get the power to throw Israel out of the UN General Assembly and make Palestine a full member. Also it will make cases in other countries for imposing embargos on trade with Israel easier.
Any state that is accused in the ICJ is granted to have one judge in the panel (for some reason - I assume to continue arguing their case in the deliberation).
>>370570I guess that would mean that Israeli leaders wouldn't be able to set foot in countries party to the ICC.
>General Assembly in the UN will get the power to throw Israel out of the UN No way that happens. The USA would use its permanent security council seat to veto.
>make Palestine a full memberThis is more likely, but still unlikely so long as the USA can veto it.
>>370571I think the rules changes a bit if Israel is found guilty and that the General Assembly can with a majority vote (probably supermajority) end Israels membership.
Several medias here in Norway have noted that Israel loosing their seat in the General Assembly and Palestine becoming full member are potential outcomes.
>- The way I see it, South Africa has already won.>That's what Professor Francis Boyle at the University of Illinois says the same week the open hearings begin in The Hague.>He was the first to win a case under the UNGenocide Convention- on two occasions.>- They have won precisely because the ICJ is now at all considering whether Israel is committing genocide, he says to NRK.>South Africa is also asking the court to demand that Israel put the war on hold until the case is fully dealt with in court.>The decision, which is binding, will probably come during January, Boyle expects.>If the verdict is in favor of the Palestinians, there may be consequences for Israel. Two outcomes in particular are relevant, according to Boyle:>Israel can be kicked out of the UN General Assembly.>Palestine can become a full member of the UN.https://archive.is/ETUjx >>370573I don't know how the UN/ICC works off of the top of my head, so I would have to look it up. I'm still fairly certain that the ICC can't do much to countries that aren't signatory to it (Including the USA, China, Russia and Israel), and that the UN can't do much if permanent security council members (including USA, Russia, China) veto it.
It shouldn't be hard to prove that Israel is doing genocide though, not only because of the number of people they've killed and displaced, but also because of their explicit expressed intent to depopulate Gaza and force Palestinians into neighboring countries. Mass murder and displacement with intent to remove an ethnicity from X territory is considered to be genocide under international law (international law that was written for the protection of Jews after WWII).
>>370573Even if this doesn't have any teeth, it's still a step in the right direction, as its an official resolution in the internal community that Jews are perpetrators of genocide, and not just victims of it. This has never really happened before.
>>370575Yes getting Israel found guilty is a big step in the right direction.
And if ICJ don't find Israel guilty they will loose most of its credibility.
>>370576The most important thing is letting the world know that Jews are not free of sin. They've had a free genocide card since the 20th century because muh Holocaust.
What's funny about this whole situation is that white Apartheid South Africa was pro Israel, and Jews pushed to end apartheid. Now the black South African government is anti-Israel, and people use South Africa as a model for how apartheid in Israel could be ended.

The Israeli rebuttal in the ICJ Genocide case
https://youtu.be/34YOZJMBGRE>>370600They keep saying that what they're doing is "necessary", and using the "human shields" excuse, ignoring that international conventions against genocide don't make exceptions for "self-defense genocide".
Not only that, but the self-defense argument is bullshit. You don't kill +22k civilians (half of which are children) as "collateral damage". Their intention from the get-go was to vengefully punish the Palestinian people as a collective for the events of October 7th, and they've verbally expressed intent to force Palestinians out of Palestine.
I was actually impressed by how eloquently the South African side argued their case. They did their homework.
Isreal is hereby found guilty of being yids, penalty is holocost
*bangs gabble*
>Freudian slip
This is why you don't make teenagers testify at your genocide trial for cheap emotional rhetoric.
>>370880Thanks for sharing was waiting for their verdict to come out.
Glad they went in a just way,
>"By 16 to 1 vote ">"The state of Israel shall take all measures in its power to prevent and punish the direct and public incitement to commit genocide in relation to members of the Palestinian group in the Gaza strip."Wonder who the 1 vote against was /s
The full reading of verdict.
https://youtu.be/FRsprNTNiNM >>370882They won't comply with any of these orders.
I wonder what comes next.
It's worth noting that the ICJ stopped just short of ordering Israel to stop/pause its military operation in Gaza.
>>370573The UN? Those cucks won't even throw out Russia or China.
>muh ICC>muh genocide of muh poor misunderstood sandniggers, whose numbers double every fifteen years because they're being genocide'd >>370972Yeah, Israel probably won't pay any tangible consequences.
Still sends a message to turn the tide in the minds of normies though. Anything that discredits Israel's international reputation is a good thing.
>>370570I don’t think states can be cast out of the UN without UNSC approval.
