Having a designated image dump thread on /sp/ isn't really regrettable, because many image dump threads on /sp/ have existed before, and they have always been the most popular threads on the board and more importantly one of the primary utilities of the board to the site (designated shitting streets exist for a reason). Idk why those threads disappeared some time over the past couple years, but they're normal and should be accepted.

This thread, however, really shouldn't exist. The OG "random image thread" and "post here when you're bored" threads rightfully died when /sp/ was made. If you care enough about quality to respond to Boom Boom under your mod title, you should take charge and actually enforce our no-generals rule by bumplocking this off-topic thread that serve no purpose other than to detract from content for which we have an entire board.
