How to spot a Nigel thread:

Nigel threads will often have subject lines that appear legitimate, but closer inspection of the post content will reveal that it is, in fact, a Nigel thread.

For instance:

However, when the post content is examined, we see that the subject line is a trojan horse:

The actual subject of this thread is something that a single character did in a single episode of an obscure cartoon show that has been off the air for 20 years.

Most likely, Nigel had a random thought about this particular episode of this particular cartoon and, being Nigel, decided to create an entire thread simply to post this single thought. The possibility that no one else on the board watches this cartoon or would care to hear his thoughts on it, or that he might be bumping a worthier thread off the board simply to post this, usually does not occur to Nigel.

Nigel has been warned repeatedly about doing this sort of thing, which is why he now makes an effort to camouflage his threads with a semi-relevant OP image and a plausible-sounding subject line. Do not be fooled. When you see a Nigel thread, report, ignore, and keep scrolling.

When Steven matures and develops masculine emotions this is treated as a bad thing. His mental state deteriorates, he physically mutates, the authors give him PTSD over years-old traumatic memories that didn't bother him last week. The only man he can exercise with and fight with is a buff woman he accidentally murders. His pussy tears bring her back to life. Eventually he mutates but a hug from all the women in his life magically cures all his problems.

Also they made Doctor Octagonapus a woman and did a cringe "I must change my biases" joke about it. Oh and rap music is used to symbolize the normal world for Miles so it plays at the start and end of the hero's journey. I remember a news article that said a kid got arrested for trying the shoulder touch "Hey" thing IRL.

Miles is basically just black kid Spiderman with bonus powers of invisibility and electric hands. Why? Because Static Shock had electric hands and Terry McGuiness had invisibility.

I think that when hclegend personally attacks me in random threads and continues to do so until he feels he's harmed his reputation in said thread too much to continue without backlash from all the people sick of his shit, yet starts the cycle all over again in another thread, it makes him look stupid and pointlessly derails threads.
I think threads with a strong central premise can survive hclegend's derailment attempts and return to their original purpose once he's done, but threads with a weak premise tend to get swallowed up by his narcissistic blame-shifting antics and that isn't fair on the creators of these threads. I can put up with hclegend's noisy baseless jewish-style heckling but I don't think others have to. I don't think there is any serious argumentative merit in the way hclegend loves using an excess of negative descriptors and repeated insistences that everyone already sees things his way or should see things his way in lieu of any real debate tactic I can sink my teeth into constructively. I don't think calling Christians "cuckstains" makes hclegend's hatred of Christians a valid argument against Christianity. Straight up, I feel that when hclegend disgraces himself to attack me it makes me wonder what I or anyone else could do about this slighted narcissist's eternal lust for revenge upon me for disagreeing with him over consoomer media years ago. Alternatively, an example from MLP would work, since it's relevant to the subject matter of this board, or an example from something well-known that has enough permanent cultural relevance to be broadly recognizable (ie Lord of the Rings or Star Trek or something).

The problem with this Batman thing you bring up is quite simply that very few people are likely to recognize the example you're citing. I vaguely remember that a show called Batman Beyond existed way back when, but if I ever watched it, it would have been 20+ years ago and I haven't thought about it in roughly that long. Most people are likely to feel the same. It's a very, very slim chance that anyone is going to know what episode or character you're talking about, or will have any strong opinions about it one way or the other.

Go back and read your own post. Imagine you're some random anon reading this. What response could you possibly make to something like this? Unless the person reading has seen that specific episode of that specific cartoon, and had as strong an opinion about it as the OP, about all anyone could say here is "yes, that does sound degenerate," and then just keep scrolling. This show seemed kind of like the predecessor to all the stuff we've got going on today with the left and the LGBT stuff.
