Incredibly popular and moddable, hearing about the outrage caused by a racist /pol/-made mod for this game was the first time I ever heard about Doom enough to download the Gzdoom port so I could give that mod a try.
It's a really fun game, and holds up better than many modern shooters.
What do you think about it, /mlpol/? And have you ever tried your hoof at making levels for it?

I hate how the faggot equates a Hezbola ISIS recruitment tool to a pro-USA military gun game. Under best-case scenarios the USA Military is a good job for those with no better option and those who want to be there. Not even comparable to any ISIS group, even if you do get to shoot jews instead of shooting for them. One of my favorite old high school games. It is still one of the only shooter games in existence I've ever been even marginally good at. Never tried modding it or building levels, I just play it vanilla while listening to music, but I still play through it regularly. Gud stuff.

I've always loved playing doom, the amount of old WAD's that were made for doom is amazing and moon doom is still one of my favorite mods for doom that i play every once in a while, it's nice to see someone playing moon doom.

What if different ponies launched different magical projectiles when booped? So Aryanne could fire exploding Swastika Hearts and Rainbow Dash could shoot rainbow lasers.

Maybe you could have a collection of mares and the "ammo" for them could be drinks. each mare has a favourite drink, explaining how ammo types can differ between the gunponies

Spriteswapping ponies into guns that nut different magical blasts from the cooch when booped would probably be the easy part.
The harder part would be modding the gun stats so each mare shoots out magic and not just bullets.

I'm not exactly sure about DOOM...
Duplicate the rocket launcher or BFG that shoots projectiles with what you want them to do? Just a reskin with different stats. It should be possible to launch multiple projectiles on one shot.
Hitscan weapons are still useful... the magic could be reskinned fire flashes, and the bullet holes can be splooge marks. All graphics without actual change to the code (but I'm not entirely sure).
The hardpart is doing it. If there is voices that may be a problem, getting the gifs can be streamlined so that each pony is made of a base model and subsections (might just do that manually, but that could allow for OCs)

The best Doom mods change your playable character into cool shit like dragon mages, car men, and fantasy Russians. Playing as Anon, mastur of booping (or Anonfilly, if she isnt a gun) should be similarly powerful.
