Just had a conversation for a little bit about how I'm worried about South Africa and the potential waves that it could leave in the west (both for racially-aware and non-racially-aware people alike). About how, whoever wins in the conflict, people are going to take notice and people are going to act on it. If Afrikaners win, it's going to lead to civil war here too because it'll raise our confidence to potentially-unhealthy levels. If Afrikaners lose and are wiped out, then the question of whether we can trust blacks and other minority groups not to kill us too could lead to a civil war. In either situation civil war is quite likely, and I was saying that I don't know whether we (the family, the nation, whoever she thinks when she says 'we') would be able to survive without great sacrifice.
