I was really excited when I first heard of a second Berserk anime; it's my favorite manga. I remember opening the first episode, seeing that motherfucking CGI animation, and saying "fuck this shit!". I heard they butchered the plot too.

What a fucking waste. They had one of the best manga in history to work with, and they fucking squandered it. Had they taken it seriously and given it the effort it deserved, it could've been YUGE.

I'm not a Berserk fan. I don't even like 3D in anime. But they seem like they're actually trying. Just take a look at what they're trying to animate for god's sake.
As far as the plot being butchered, I heard from my anime loving friend that the anime is supposed to pick up where the movies left off, so that might be why it seems weird.

Since I watched that one video, youtube ended up recommending a much better video which complained about it.
Seems like they did mess up the plot a lot. Which is probably due to the bad director (explains the bad camera as well) but as far as the CG itself goes, it's not that bad considering that Japan sucks at 3D animation and it's low budget(?).
