Yes, it's another one of these threads. Yes, I also checked the catalog, and we currently have none up. So, let's use this thread to once again think up ways to stop the stagnation/shrinkage of our userbase. I'll start with a short-term possibility and a hopefully long-term possibility.

the second /pol/-league is coming up, and that'll generate a decent amount of traffic both here and on /pol/. During that time, we make ourselves as presentable as possible and try to use this to entice more users away from nu/pol/ and over here.

Why not try to track down some of the oldfags from /pol/ and /mlp/ who left long before our creation and show them that at least some semblance of what they once had can be found here?

If you want this place not to die I'd suggest that the mods change this:
1. Kill flags in general and implement 5-6 meme flags of their choice.
We have a small user base and our posting habits are very easy to see apart, especially when flags are on. Turning them off makes things a bit more difficult, and allowing users to turn on an Equestrian flag or a Nazi flag at will allows us to become more likely to be anons with the sheer possibility that one anon might be one flag in one thread and might change in the next. This will decrease the circle jerk feeling and decrease drama overall, which has been a drain on the community.
2. Kill all other boards.
Allowing boards like /sp/, /ub/, /cyb/, /1ntr/, and /vx/ to exist will split the community. If anything there traffic on the main board would help keep the anons on here in high moral spirits along with make traffic seem artificially higher then currently is which will encourage more posters and more content. It'll also make anons feel less unlikely to create threads in fear that they will be told to fuck off to >>>/test/.
3. Remove multiple image posts
Its something minor but potentially major. The last clop thread only got 355 posts but over 450+ images. This would cause anons to post more even if its just to post an image and would yet again artificially increase poster activity.
4. Decrease the post limit per thread.
Were a small community so having threads go to 350+ before it becomes unbumpable doesn't make much sense if something will last 30days on the board anyways before it dies. If anything we need a bump limit of between 150 and 300 so that anons don't lose interest in a thread.
5. Implement a image limit.
Making 50 less images then posts allowed on the board would make OC creation threads, clop threads, and wifu threads move along much faster and would force more thread creations.
6. Decrease the catalogue size.
We don't need threads to stay up for a week plus without getting bumped, it makes people who have something invested in a thread less likely to be involved. At least decrease the number of threads in the catalogue by 10, that way things cycle faster and we don't have threads that exist from over a month and a half ago.
7. Update /go/ with more of our previous featured archives and maybe grab some of the old /mlpol/ archives and transfer them here. It'd be a big moral boost if we got a taste from the good old days here.
Overall this is all to artificially increase traffic. This would make anons have to post more, or make new threads more often in order to get the same amount of content out. Explain, we have a problem with our image dump threads existing WAY to long. The first porn thread we posted has existed since we were made. We need a way for them to cycle through whether that be single image per post, making threads shorter here overall or making image limmits. If we don't we'll continue to have threads that'll exist for ever and won't die because no one will feel like posting in them till they are near death. Making the cycle faster will allow for more content being posted and more members of our community feeling willing to get involved.

1. Where else would you suggest? /Pone/ is dying for new users like us and so would hate us for doing so. Not sure about 8/pol/ but I'm sure their content with the state of their board since its 4/pol/ without shills but a honeypot. We don't want Derpifags, Tumblrkikes, Reddit, or other such kiked up communities which leaves us with otherchans, and 4chan, with 4chan having a significantly larger audience and /pol/ specifically being the biggest of which along with the easiest to convince to move out because of how far the board quality has declined.
2. Making a thread on /pol/ disappears extremely fast, if you make one at the day time in burgerland it'll die within 20-30mins without a bump. Thats because over 100threads are made on /pol/ per hour according to board stats, so in all likelihood if some anon who really liked the merge wanted to know about us didn't he wouldn't. I personally know a lot of /pol/acks the type I wouldn't want to be on here and I try to dissosiate from IRL that don't know this place exists not because they didn't enjoy the merge but because as soon as it was gone and JPQA ended they considered it all dead and have yet to hear about it coming back. 4/pol/ gets over 6000 posts per hour, with a likely user base of lurkers and posters in the millions over a month. Fishing one day could yield you a different set of users from day to day even if their are regulars who are on all the time.
The point I'm trying to make saying all of this is that /pol/ has hardly been exhausted as a point to get new users, I don't disagree about fishing some over from otherchans but can't really think of a place where the users would be discontent enough to want to leave while being big enough to make an impact.
