Hey folks (Christians and maybe others)!
Just a Muslim here, wandering around in these waters, kinda like a lot of you christers are. Wanted to share a thought that's been bugging me for a while, especially after seeing threads like the ones I'll link below:

What's really strange to me as a Muslim is this relationship and respect that it seems many of Christians have towards jews. I'm not saying I know every single detail in your Bible or your theology, no. But from our Muslim perspective, pretty much all jews throughout history have been our enemies, and still are, just like they were for Christians. Think about all the prophets and good people they killed or harassed. And even remember stories like the People of the Pit (Ashab al-Ukhdud), where believers (understood as Christians) were burned alive just for their faith. This shows how they treated those who followed God's path. So, it's weird to me that you guys have to respect them so much, or at least feel obliged to accept them.
We Muslims, especially us Shias, actually don't have a problem with Christians at all. On the contrary, we even respect them. Maybe you'll be surprised, but we believe Jesus Christ (a great prophet of God) will return at the end times and appear alongside Imam Mahdi. And when Christ comes, real Christians will see the truth of Islam and believe in it. That's why a lot of Shias see sincere Christians as future Muslims, and prefer them to stay firm in their faith for now. This idea is very very rare concerning jews, because like I said, they've mostly been enemies.
Now, about the historical enmity between Muslims and Christians, like the Crusades or current conflicts: most of that stuff was just a political game for power, not a real religious war. And sadly, as history has shown and current evidence suggests, a lot of these games and divisions have been orchestrated by people whose name is jew, and unfortunately, they are run by them. They've been behind many of the conflicts between Muslims and Christians, trying to keep us divided. Both sides (Muslims and Christians) shouldn't fall for this.
Maybe you'll say Sunnis are different? I'm not super familiar with the exact details of all Sunni denominations either, but as far as I know, they also believe in respecting other monotheistic God-believing religions (except maybe jews, because their history is different). But about Shias, I can confidently say there's no particular enmity towards Christians, and it's even recommended to unite with other religions in these times of godlessness and immorality.
So, who is our real common enemy? The immorality and godlessness that's spread so much in modern society... and the jews. Not everyone whose name is jew, no. I mean the ones who are only jews by name, otherwise they haven't gotten a whiff of their own religion. If they were real jews and acted according to their book, over 90% of them would have converted to Christianity or Islam by now! So the ones who remained and are doing these things... well, they're not "real jews" in my opinion, but rather agents of a specific agenda.
I think now, in this sensitive global situation, we need to be careful. Who are the real enemies of humanity? It's these "jews" (by my definition) and anti-human/anti-religious ideologies like lgbt and all the other stuff destroying morality.
Those talks you see in these forums and elsewhere, saying Christianity destroyed european civilization, that comes from the exact same place that says Islam destroyed the Iranian Aryan civilization! All of this is made up by the same people who want to create division between Islam and Christianity. Their goal is to make us fight each other so they can do their work easily.
If we actually practice our religions properly, the result isn't destruction, it's the opposite! We had the Islamic Golden Age (which owed a lot to Iranian scientists by the way) in history, you had the Renaissance. These are results from times when people adhered to certain principles, not the current state of degeneracy and immorality.
So please, change your minds, go study, and see how much they have lied and are lying to us. This isn't a war between us and you. The main enemy is somewhere else.
I'm really eager to hear your thoughts. Since I don't know much about the details of the different Christian denominations (Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox, and all those sub-branches...) and the history of Judaism's place in Christianity, I'd appreciate it if someone could give a brief explanation. And if any of you Christians can explain why there's so much respect for Judaism in Christianity despite everything, I'd be interested to hear (from the perspective of ordinary people, not university professors).

The short version is: we view jews that way. That they should likely 'wake up' to realize their messiah came, and is indeed coming back to take what's his so he can have a proper wedding feast where he marries the church (us believers)
Views about the jews are located on several points on the map (different than "all over" because honestly, we aren't - it's one or the other or another yet) But, the messiah was the fulfillment of prophecies the Creator gave to (and through) the descendants of Jacob (whom He renamed Isreal).
When the Word of God set aside His glory to be a normal human man, born of a virgin, it was to the Hebrew children, through a descendant of David (who also prophesied of this, saying his Lord should sit beside the Lord).
The jewish leadership was more interested in money and power than "prophecy", but the Good News of the kingdom was given to the jewish people first. It was Paul (formerly Saul, professional persecutor of the early church) that was asked, directly and more or less in-person by God-the-Son to stop being stupid ("even the livestock learn not to kick at the goads", Acts 26:14) and the rest, as they say is history (by word count something like three-fourths of the new testament is his letters to churches he started). Paul couldn't keep quiet, and Peter was told in a vision to preach to the gentiles specifically (Acts 10:9).
So some would argue God has forgotten the jews, and I could indeed assemble some scripture to support the idea. In which case christians view the "jews" as non-entities, and indeed Paul wrote "there is now, neither jew nor greek; neither slave nor free" (galatians 3:28).
There are some that view jews with pity, because they rejected their messiah (and thus they assume it follows that all jews are going to hell because they made a point of being so thick-skulled about their own prophecies).
But since most of the end-time prophecies are told in relation to Jerusalem in particular, it's assumed the jews-for-Jesus will have to be that remnant that represent the seed of Abraham that remained faithful. I have what's likely an uncommon opinion, however. That the people who live in Isreal now aren't jews; aren't descended from the twelve sons of Jacob.

First off, I'm really sorry to hear about the tough times your family went through. I get how you must feel. Honestly, I probably dislike certain (as you call them) Muslim groups even more than many folks on this site. It goes way back in my family history. From what my grandpa told me, we were Lurs living in Khuzestan. Sadly, in the wars between us and the Arabs(of Iraq), many of our people were killed, and the rest were scattered. My own uncle was also killed by Ba'athist Arabs in the Iran-Iraq War. So, you can be sure I'm not unfamiliar with this stuff.
I think you've probably realized we're from the same country. Also, in these very discussions here and on 4chan, I've said I don't take sides in the India-Pakistan conflict. To me, even though one side is a bunch of (fake) Muslim terrorists and the other has some strange beliefs, there's no reason to support either. The only reason I mentioned it is for the sake of regional security and to prevent bigger conflicts that could benefit israel or even lead to world war 3.
It's great that you're no longer stuck in a religion you didn't connect with and found a belief you truly believe in. I'm a Lur myself, and you probably know that Lurs are one of the oldest Iranian peoples. Naturally, I like Aryan ideas, just like you. The reason I'm here is because, unfortunately, as you know, posting on 4chan is a pain due to the IP and VPN issues for Iranians. I prefer a place where I can speak freely and it's much calmer and more logical than that crazy 4chan space. Regarding your views on Islam, I think you've mixed up Islam with Arab culture. A lot of the lies we've been told, and that you mentioned, were actually part of the primitive Arab culture. Even after Islam and things got a bit better, they weren't willing to let go of those customs. Then, using Islam as an excuse (which was also the excuse for attacking Iran), they tried to mix that culture with the religion. Of course, the original people of Iran were too smart to buy that nonsense and only converted to Islam after really understanding it (not by the force of Arab swords), seeing how the true teachings of Islam fit with their own beliefs (like Zoroastrianism). I don't see the current government as a real Islamic government. I see it as a kind of virus(Trojan horse) with an Islamic look that pushes its own agenda. The Islam I believe in is the one where the people of Iran converted not because of Arab force, but because they understood how the real teachings of Islam aligned with their own beliefs (like monotheism). (I've also talked about this in the comments under the first link in my original post, you can easily find it). I probably hate Arabs more than anyone here, and maybe we Iranians hate jews more than anyone else here. But it's better to sort out these separations and misunderstandings first so that no problems arise.

However, in general, islam presents the children of israel as a people who were once chosen by god, but due to their own mistakes, they declined and lost that privilege.

The thing is, the god of all these religions has been the same! So logically, previous religions should have commonalities with newer one. It's not possible that god would completely reboot his new religion! In essence, each new religion is meant to be a completion of the previous one, which is why monotheistic religions (and even some religions adapted from Zoroastrianism like Buddhism) have many similarities.

Islam says that mohammad didn't write the Quran at all, so Ali wouldn't have helped him! God has always stated that the Quran is from him and no one can produce the like of it:
