>>240908This has been proposed before, but how do you make Ponies normie-friendly? The very idea of ponies - as a 'legitimate' concept - is antithetical to normies, which while it has helped insulate this board from less desirables, does not promote well in society.
>>240911That's why we should start in eastern European countries, specifically Belarus, which by far has more horsefuckers by percentage (that we know about) and the generally crummy state of the country means that the people are more desperate for change, this is the same situation that led to Hitler gaining power,if the party does a good job there normies will be more apt to take it seriously, along with other countries.
>start a pony political partyThat would just a doxx of whoever is foolish enough to start it. That's completely contrary to our advantage, which is being one of the last websites to have truly anonymous users. /mlpol/ should be just a means of communication or, at most, an online movement.
>How do you think the media will reactIt won't unless if something infamous happens or if you go on some kind of retard rally, in which case media will either classify you as dangerous or as pathetic incels. Don't think that most nationalists will do anything but facepalm or look at you strangely, because they aren't willing to embrace absurdist humor to the same extent we are.
>"normie friendly" enoughThe answer to this is not to directly attach yourself to some third-party franchise, but simply to incorporate different absurdist elements in order to be a joke party people will support ironically. Examples are Vermin Supreme in the U.S., the Monster Raving Loony Party (which recently beat nUKIP, lul), and the Five Star Party in Italy (which has had a surprising amount of success).
>>240914>normies will be more apt to take it seriouslyDon't be worried about appealing to normalfags. Just don't be too edgy, have a decent message and make people laugh with you more than at you. Trump and Bojo are in a way "political clowns" because they publicly acknowledge politics is a circus and don't mind acting goofy as long as it makes them look more sincere.
>>240916I agree that doing so would doxx the people involved, which is not in /mlpol/s interest so who ever goes with the idea is either cut ties with it. But we can't do nothing, and atlas (praise be) forbids more...ahem, 'Direct' confrontation. This seems to be a good alternative If pulled off. And as you pointed out a lot of more meme oriented parties are becoming more prominent.
>>240908The Friendship Party
or something better. Just the name alone can get past normalfag psychological walls.
>>240916Very much this,
>>240920and this.
A meme party where the secret cabal is actualy people who watch, and talk about a colorful kids cartoon, and the merits it can bring.
That's a hilarious mind fuck for them.
Que SMB2 overworld theme.
https://youtu.be/yBISfv-6hfo >>240908>>240911>>240916>>240931Well, it doesn't have to be about ponies, per-se. Dems use asses, Republicans use elephants...why can't the theme of our party be, let's say, horses? Mustangs, especially, if we want something in the realm of Americana.
>>240931>>240933A horse would be a great choice for a political symbol. You could use the idiom "a dark horse" and the horse is a symbol of freedom.
Also, "the Friendship Party" is a good name. You could enunciate how "toxic" (to appropriate a word) mainstream politics and society has become and how you seek to bring back when people could trust each other rather than trying to subjugate each other.
No third party would work in America, though. It's much better to infiltrate either the Dems or Pubs and create a caucus.
>>240908Well my first thought is anyone that is publicly attached to the party will be accused of being a pedo. and since normies are retards they'll push that message.
>>240934I try my friend.
>>240940Indeed controlling, and dominating the media as the feel good party would be hard on its own.
Being "a dark horse" the underdog helps incredibly so for being viewed in a positive light.Counter-propaganda would need to make it be funny, and humorous. Anything less than constant memes, and messages would brand the party, and specific people, in a negative light.
>>240933>>240939Good points.
>No third party would work in America, though. It's much better to infiltrate either the Dems or Pubs and create a caucus. Why not both?
The resources, and personal needed would double, but then the dem friendship vs rep friendship party could win. Doubling the chances if either makes it out. In either case it would cause some chaos on both political sides. Having a controlled opposition would be much better than an uncontrolled one. If such a circumstance would happen either side could boost the other into the spot light for a variety of reasons. >>240948If we were to go this route, I believe we'd have a much better chance of infiltrating the Democrats, simply because as "Bronies" we'd be just another "oppressed" minority, the NPCs would be to stupid to understand what our true goals would be,unfortunately we would also attract furries, though if we do (and we will) it will just make the final purge of such degenerates much easier.
>>241042Truly, we are the most oppressed minority. Poners rise up.
Anon fillies at attention! Do you think it would be possible to condition them to do a sieg heil?
>"Say Hay!" >I propose we try to start a pony political party
Maybe we should start with something smaller first. Like a meet up.
>>241089That has both pros, and cons.
Meeting up would put a warning sigh for them to exactly know where they could hit you hardest, for next time.
But it would give us foreknowledge on how to operate together with live demonstration.
On the other hand going big or go home could shock everyone possibly giving publicity, and a step to dominating media time.
>>241089>Like a meet upThere are plenty of hostile third parties waiting for that opportunity. I don't think because of we are a threat, but for the potential to frame a poner with some shit, plus the associated propaganda about pedo nazis or another slander.
This push to induce the poners to doxx themselves is getting tiresome.
>>241098>This push to induce the poners to doxx themselves is getting tiresome.Don't do anything in real life go- i mean guys.
>>241102Covert action is our best bet. We're already like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in hiding our power levels publicly. Best to maintain an illusion of moderacy irl and push more radical views anonymously.
>>241102I know that doing nothing is unhelpful to the effort. But at the same time I believe the people on this site should never meet in person unless it's absolutely necessary, a meet up has the chance to spook (((them))) instead we should coordinate from here and the only time we should meet is when the day of the rope is without a doubt, happening.
>>241102>IRLWe are just poners worshiping the holy mare, no need to get hasty.
There are plenty of endeavors going along that don't need a physical human, look for kike tactics to get an example.
>>241098>This push to induce the poners to doxx themselves is getting tiresome.Very much this. When the time is right strike while the iron is hot.
>>241103Finding us all, and removing us is hard and costly.
>>241104This. We are a bastion, and any of us could be anywhere in the world waiting.
>>241106Very true. It really depends on the circumstances of whether it's better to continue doing as we have, saving our trump cards for the right moment, or enact more irl plans.
