Seems like 4Chan's reputation and accomplishments will continue to live on for years:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZzIvl1tbPoit seems that the /pol/acks are moving to /news/ due to /pol/ being one of the boards going to be shut down.
history may repeat itself.
a brief history lesson. once upon a time tthere was a board named /new/ which would discuss the news. however, eventually, the founders of what would become /pol/ decided to get all their /pol/acks and /new/ essentially became what /pol/ is today. with far less censors. eventually though, moot shut down the board as he deemed that it was too cancerous even for him. but under protest, (plus /b/ received the /new/ immigrants) /pol/ was born. now with /pol/ being eliminated, along with /b/ it may be the case that /news/ becomes the new /pol/
