>>2145oh how convenient, I could definitely take some notes on his experience with blender, his weight painting skills are definitely something I want to pick up, the elasticity of the mesh looks amazing. will definitely be following this.
>>2146Glad you enjoy them. They are fun to follow. Sorry for the late reply, btw, just not a lot of activity round these parts, so I come less frequently. I should probably remedy that....
>>2147I have been planning on doubling down on my posting, we need some new threads. new flash thread perhaps?

>>1728>google search random shit by date>find this and at first laughs and fun, then an odd sadness:https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/9drc2/i_was_a_mod_for_the_asshole_of_the_internet_4chan/He kind of sounds like a faggot, really, like not thinking Habbo Hotel raid was the funniest shit (checked his account, those appear to be the only posts he ever made). Anyway, so how accurate is 11 pic related, or rather, what exactly does he mean? What flash is he talking about in 12, because I couldn't find the loop thread on 7ch?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3DME_VYUwYIs there even anyone over 30 anymore? >>2323I can see where he comes from in some perspectives, I feel at one point mods worked towards staff with the motivation of adding some hands to help clean and watch over the site, however over time, your view and prior interests tend to get a bit distorted, the transition from the average poster to a mod or janitor changes those views greatly, as a leisurely reader, you do not have to make decisions on whether a post should be deleted or reasonable for a ban. sympathy was a weakness of mine at one point, over time you tend to grow bitter of the endless repetition of deleting and banning users, the every day shitposter I am sure is at a greater multitude over at 4ch.
>He kind of sounds like a faggot, really, like not thinking Habbo Hotel raid was the funniest shitas a user it was good fun, but by then raids were all to common and to mods having to contain what he calls "a bunch of teenagers with too much time on their hands" I am sure it was another routine of "welp, what kind of motherfuckery is anon# 9,231,567 is trying to sprout up." habbo was a harmless fun raid, the commador raids were fun too. but as staff i am sure it was just another nuisance to clean up.
>"The moderators had nothing to do with the 4chan "pranks" (like scientology, habbo, etc), in fact they were supposed to stop them."only soo much a mod can do when watching in the shadows with only the ability to delete shit, maybe even the occasional sticky, if he was a janitor that is.
>"What boards did you moderate and what is the absolute worst thing you had to ban a user for?">"All of them. Some more than others, long before I quit certain boards had pissed me off so badly that I couldn't load them without deleting half the threads and then getting into an argument with other mods about whether they should have been deleted or not. There's a lot of apathy, the only other newish-mod I knew made it all of about a day, the rest seem to be tired of doing it. So trying to take an active stance on cleaning up any board seemed to be a serious uphill battle.">what exactly does he mean? What flash is he talking about in 12beats me, but it may be archived in swfchan.
>>2326>so please forgive me; all I know is that I utterly despise the new shit from those born roughly around 2000, vid and definition somewhat relatedit is something that is unavoidable and taxing if you pay it too much mind to it, the best result is to encourage and influence or better portray the change you want to see, that is if you are involved in any other communities
i assume you are imageboards have a funny way about distributing information to chain react. but as that mod was saying, its an uphill battle. Hang close to your altchans, be sure to make post and keep it alive, 4chan will progressivley get worse, but not enough to give up on it.
>/end blogpostwas a good post
Reporting in, I keep on forgetting...
JIDF here! Do you guys need something?
I've been coming to imageboards less and less now. Although it has always been said that oldfags and the originalfags just leave eventually, I never really saw how. But now, I see where all the oldfags go. I guess there'll always be enough anime and other sources of entertainment to keep them alive. Still, it really, really hurts, especially since I have no friends I keep in contact with, so who do I talk to?
>>2411I personally have grown too attached to imageboards over the years my taste in 4ch however has grown very bitter. I personally and can more than likely say for some that, most venture elsewhere looking for that sort of sanctuary. there are many places to seek out for many interests when it comes to keeping touch with imageboards. as far as conversation goes, there are places where some can reach out to others in an anonymous format, you are more than welcomed here. we try to make a home for those that want an some sort of place away form most of the nonsense of today. however there are many places like i have mentioned before for those that need a place to open up and develop these anonymous ties, and some have been going for years.
>>1728Why do sites like Exhentai and Sankaku have rating systems in the comments section? This is utterly baffling to me. What is the point?
