"Mmm, another masterpiece."
He kisses a clean section of her rump.
"Know where Khoi keeps cleaning supplies?"
She flinches and closes her tail, evidently not expecting the kiss
“No?” She answers
"Hmm...I will look around for them out here, how about you check inside counters here in kitchen? Must be somewhere..."
Before he leaves the room, Silver peaks around to see who, if anyone, is outside of the kitchen.
Both Paper Clipping and Mala are in the living room, looking at Silver as he approaches, although Mala stands away from Clipping
Silver retreats before anything is potentially seen, offering a "JUST A SEC!" as he returns to the kitchen. He looks for a soft towel to clean himself up.
Paper towels and kitchen rags
Wet kitchen rag it is. Not only does it clean, but the cool water forces his Sword back completely in his sheath and feels very uncomfortable.
Silver has magic, so this is easier for him than for many creatures. Jubilosa attempts to walk through the living room, before turning around, walking through the kitchen, and out of the side door.
Once clean and sheathed, Silver rinses the rag out, and comes out into the living room with a sigh of relief.
"Sorry about that."
Mala’s dark brown eyes and triangular ears are much closer to the door for the kitchen, but Paper Clipping’s wide eyed expression over on the couch is also rather noticeable.
Silver looks at Clip with a sheepish smile on his face, and a faintly noticable blush.
"Uh...what is wrong?"
While Mala’s expression is his inexpressive normal, Clipping has his eyes wide, lips pulled back but firmly closed, and ears pulled back.
Silver looks between the two, sheepish smile and blush maintained.
"So, um...did either of you...hear any of that?"
Silver is rather taken aback by the hyena's brashness.
Mala looks up at Silver, and blinks.
"So, I take that as yes."
He tilts his head back at Mala.
"Your reaction seems much more calm than, uh...than Clip's."
Mala tilts his ears down, and breaks eye contact.
“It’s not the first or the fiftieth time I’ve heard it…”
"...oh, right...thin walls..."
He scratches the back of his head.
"I am sorry if it has disturbed you."
“But there are at least walls here.” Mala replies
Now it's time for Silver to tilt his head again.
"What do you mean?"
“There are walls here.” He says
“Not like the last place. For me…”
Aww. Silver trots up to his hyena friend, and gives him a surprise hug.
He is surprisingly fluffy. He accepts the hug, and his ears wiggle.
"You will always have walls here, friend."
He presses his muzzle into him, and places a paw over Silver. His leg is also rather fluffy, with a large, soft pad.
Just two fluffy friends hugging. They stay like that for a minute, before Silver looks over at Clip.
"Are you okay? You seem to be troubled by what Jubee and I, uh...did."
Paper Clipping blinks. This is the first time he’s seen him blink since he entered the living room, so it’s progress.
Silver pets Mala before leaving him to sit next to Clip.
Clips eyes turn to meet Silver
"Are you okay? We did not traumatize you, yes?"
"...did we traumatize you?"
"Oh, good. You looked disturbed."
"So, uh...did you see
anything, or did you just hear?"
“I saw something. I heard more. Much more.”
“You. Your behind. And her tail.”
"Ah. Okay, not exceptionally
bad...unless you caught glimpse of my, erm...jewels. But yes, that is what sex sounds like, little Clip. Sort of. It does not always sound exactly like that."
Mala shakes his head
“And they don’t fight before or after. Or at all, really. Not yet at least.”
Paper Clipping’s eyes remain wide open, and his ears down.
Silver looks over at Mala.
"Uh...who fights before or after mating?"
“My parents… or Mohlokemeli with Mohlaban, or her other partners…”
"I...am sorry to hear that. No, I do not believe Jubee and I will fight. We are good together, and we can work any issues out."
“They had their sweet moments too. They all did…”
Silver scoots over on the couch closer to Mala to return to hugging him.
Mala walks up next to the couch and sits next to Silver, legging him hug him.
"It will be alright, I promise. Things are different this time."
