>>150464Well, let me take a look at the back story
>>150456>a filly who grew up in a cloisterTechnically the initiates will only ever be of at least adolescent age, but it’s common for nuns to manage orphanages, a fact that has even featured in this campaign. So she was an orphan or for other reasons raised by nuns, and decided to join them when she came of age.
>close to CanterlotA little note that this is more or less the border area between the Changelings and New Mareland, with Canterlot on the New Mareland side, but with the border not far away. This area could be a center of ELF resistance, especially the Everfree forest.
> and actually had like an encounter with the Princess C and it left her with a good impressionThis is good. I like it
>This church or cloister taught their nuns martial arts as wellFighting nuns seems slightly odd at first, but it’s easy to imagine unarmed combat taught as a way to defend against monsters and bandits, and then kept as a tradition because of its ability to teach discipline and stay in good physical condition. Maybe the fillie overcame some emotional or personal problem through martial arts, if built up relationships with her teachers. Then when the war came, she could use it as an actual way to fight.
> She was very dedicated and loyal to Celestia so when the Blackhoofs attacked she saw this as a betrayalMakes sense
>restoring CelestiaI mean putting her back on the throne
> But anyway, she escaped the changeling hordes and skipped the border to New Mareland or wherever the most other players are or whatever the ELF are most active, or something. She joined themNot terribly hard in that area
>These days she drinks to numb the pain. The cloister forbade drinking. She sleeps in a backalley and is a regular at a tavern.I’m a big curious as to why there is exceptional pain
The easiest way, I think, to reconcile this backstory with a Baltimare setting is to say that she joined the ELF in the Canterlot area,
and then something traumatic happened that caused her to leave to Baltimare. In this way, she will have had contact with the ELF and could continue to be active for them, without necessarily being active
at the immediate moment of the beginning of the story. She would be new to the city and have a reason to have become an alcoholic. This is assuming we want to put her near other characters.
