I have one tulpa I made 5 or 6 years ago. She's a Unicorn and she used to be a Twilight Sparkle knockoff before becoming her own pony Unicorn with her own name and looks. But recently, she's been thinking of redesigning her body and abandoning her ponyness, replacing it with some other animal nature. Maybe even designing a human body.

She's a living idea, and we aren't sure what effect redesigning her body will have on her. She's afraid her pony body is limiting her and she's lost her love for ponyness. She once went through a stage where we pretended she's some kind of magic quantum spirit from another dimension with her own pony world memories, but she stopped doing that after a few months of being alive.

So...
I'd recommend fully detailing how she looks like now so there is a very solid understanding of what to go back to, and where to go forward.
Technically anykind of thought form can have any kind of shape and form.
The form isn't the part that matters* it's the underlying personality. I will say that the form can direct and focus the personality to be who they want, and emphasize certain traits.
All mental stuff for now. This also applies to you and how (You) see yourself. Also how others perceive you.
*The form is very important, but fucking around with the shape should be fine.
I HIGHLY recommend having a sense of self and a form to return to. A metaphorical anchor so you don't get lost.

>She's afraid her pony body is limiting her
Welcome to being human (alive), I recommend exploring those limits and becoming better and stronger. While being pseudo-bodyless on Earth is quite limiting its also a wholly different existence.
>she's lost her love for ponyness
How so?

I come from a /x/ magic background as such that's the hammer I'll be using.

She wants to redesign the physical appearance she has to be less of a Who Framed Roger Rabbit kind of "2D MLP Unicorn that hopped right out of the screen" and more of a realistic-looking furred creature. A non-horse creature.
She's even more sick of the MLPFIM TV show than I am, and she's never had any good experiences talking to bronies or fellow tulpa-havers. She's tired of looking like a cartoon unicorn, and wants to design something new and exciting for herself but she's not sure what.

>She's even more sick of the MLPFIM TV show than I am, and she's never had any good experiences talking to bronies or fellow tulpa-havers.
Oof.
>she's not sure what.
Well a list of things she doesn't want to be, and what is important to her would be useful for cooperating to test out appearances.
Various media, myths, cartoons, even some forms of porn can be useful for determining what you both like and dislike. Nothing beats giving something for a whirl though.
Something distinctly alive is a good idea just about every time. Unblemished, and without major illness or tumor like stuff is a good guideline.
Not having a body is very much not recommended, later on in about twenty years might be fine, but...
Having someone for the consciousness to reside is very useful.
I don't really recommend reptile based physiology due to the paranormal warfare done by them, not the animals but aliens that are remarkably close, nor greys, nor anti-pseudo thought/form creatures. The last one is a bit kinda serious, nasty stuff. Annoying, but anything that 'hates' everything with as much vigor as they do isn't good to try imitating.

Humans are pretty cool, and I'm a bit biased, ponies and other equines of the 2d variety arn't bad choices either, also anything 2d, plants can be a bit slowing if you let it, same problem with mushrooms plus decomposition soooo, robotic forms are easy to fuck something up also is a bit 'dehumanizing' sometimes, foxes are fluffy and have fur...
Any kind of animal would be a good pick.
Mythological creatures and entities could be fun.

For a starting point, humans are common and handy. It's a good solid launching point. Also good for understanding Anonymous. Customizing a more anthropic model, or one more akin to what it's based on is good to know.
If shit goes wrong and you need to bail your human pal is out of commission, knowing how to use a human body is good.

Try things that look cool/cute/whatever have a plan to revert and see how you liked it, and do more testing.
Customization and full creativity is fully and totally possible, but remember your roots if things don't feel right or if something feels off.

Eh kinda like lovecraftian knockoff shit , but isn't normaly a problem. The /vx/ thread has more info. If you want to know more protection first (I recommend being unnoticeable is a handy method for not wanting to actually deal with these things yet), they are just another astral group trying to fuck with people, that includes tulpas.
While I do recommend magic and that sort of stuff being slightly egotistical and semi selfless and flexible it's a good road to explore. I am fairly sure tulpas can also do the same or similar exercises...
Any who back on topic. Test stuff. It's similar to a science experiment the variables is both of your enjoyment of the appearence in multiple categories. Record your findings and explore and have fun with it.

Ah, now that is interesting. I've heard accounts of tulpas being able to control and move the human physical body while the mental owner is in incapacitated.
One of the stories is a bit tragic, but the sort of it is the guy did mental suicide, and the tulpas and thought forms had to deal with everything.
Or one about the human being dazed and practically unconscious, the tulpa could move around and make sure neither of them were seriously injured.
What it also means is dual control over the body if you guys both want. One can use the left hand one can use the right. Ect.
Loads of interesting stuff is possible.
While many of the places the people with tulpas congregate are fags, they do have some interesting ideas to implement. A wonderland (mentally constructed relm to do stuff in), body sharing, probably other stuff too, but those are the ones that come to mind.

In that case I recommend looking through legends and mythology, extensive lists of fictional creatures from different franchises (DnD has a lot though most are not cuddly or nice for obvious reasons), and through various high-quality art pieces. Before considering a radical change I recommend looking through horse-like creatures, like a centaur.
It may even be that she would be happy being a pony but realistic, though it's difficult to visualize a pony as such (particularly in regards to facial features). If that's the case then it may be worth commissioning a piece from an artist who specializes in realistic ponies. At that point she would be less of a "pony unicorn" and more of a "classical unicorn with pony characteristics."

>>2535
>I don't really recommend reptile based physiology due to the paranormal warfare done by them
Lizardmen amirite? What if scalies are unwitting thralls of the reptilians?
>foxes are fluffy and have fur
I'd caution against foxes and wolves because those are furry-bait. At least half of all furries tend to be foxes and don't lower yourself down to their level.

>For a starting point, humans are common and handy. It's a good solid launching point. Also good for understanding Anonymous. Customizing a more anthropic model, or one more akin to what it's based on is good to know.

That is extremely interesting and deserves involves study. Looks like a successful tulpa master essentially has a guardian angel–or, on the flipside, possession–and has protection from incapacitation. It'd be interesting to learn how extensive this protection is, particularly in regards to physical factors.

Bane of all sorts of stuff.take it with a grain of salt if the body suits you do it, but... yeah furries. That's a good point.
>Spoiler the second
Just human, nothing weird or modified. Lots of entities don't really get the whole human bit, even some people don't get the full experience. Being human is pretty awesome, but trying out other bodies and forms does have an appeal. I heavily identify and associate with being human. Attaching tentacles, or being a cyborg is nifty, but organic normal maybe above/below average human being is pretty good all things considered.
>That is extremely interesting and deserves involves study. Looks like a successful tulpa master essentially has a guardian angel–or, on the flipside, possession–and has protection from incapacitation. It'd be interesting to learn how extensive this protection is, particularly in regards to physical factors.
So while all of this information I found is slightly worn away in memory the jist is that the tulpa and the human consciousness are two different operating systems on the same hardware.
Usually through hallucinations, effort, and the power of belief the human OS makes a new AI and possibly soul/spirit deal thingy (or the soul is from where ever the fuck souls come from). While doing that there is a tendency to mess with perception and directly manipulate that to ensure the tulpa is fully realized or something.
So the perception of pain for one can be mitigated, and or blocked entirely (monk/gongfu masters) while the other can double check or alternate the tasks done.

While technically being both trained in tulpamancy, and being a kung fu master is possible, it's pretty low.
The difference between a someone who has lost all will to go on any further, and a teammate that can go the extra distance (the physical body has limits, but pushing them is easier when the mental fortitude is able to be fully rested for one and the other can rest)

Then it gets into personality disorders which is kinda sorta similar, but...
Not all that helpful for this situation.

Now I will say I've heard about a tulpa having religious experiences or being able to do magic seperate from the human consciousness. While verifying it is debatable, and finding the source is drawing a blank for me. The potential is very interesting.
Much like a spirit guide, or animal spirit, or guardian angel they too can grow and develop. Some are... less experienced in some areas while highly capable in others.
A tulpa from my understanding a son/daughter/brother/sister of mankind. Technically should be able to access all the neat features being born on Earth, having a physical body/anchor, and understanding the flexibility of understanding what it is like to exist as consciousness.
So much could be done!

Another semi more tangential thing is the projects of MKUltra and various occult fucker groups splitting mind and soul into a fractured painful tortured hull to be used as a spirit and or golem for them. Nasty stuff.
On one hand having such a solid wonderland reality would negate a whole lot of their operations, and having at least two consciousnesses (not even counting the subconscious) to tackle the situation.

Also tangentially related are djinn inside bottles. Where the bottle is the physical container.
A tulpa is inside and connected to the physical body in the same space as the human.
For clarification all those living thinking beings are all important and should be considered like a human life ought to be. Some people do bad things because they don't know any better some do it because they want to and damn anyone else, and some is because it's hard coded into their nature and rebelling against that is a long honorable journey.
>Lizardmen and the first spoiler
Interdimentional/intergalactic/astral/fuckingmagic slave trade. They make some of the sask of shit they possess drink other people's blood for the shits and giggles. Having some willing merchandise for the weird buyer (into consent and stuff weird fetish for them) is probably what they think. It could be luck. It could be the sludge of what they do across the borders. It could also be nature to fuck stuff. It could also be all sorts of things.
The unwilling part is... just about everyone due to them making a terms of service for everyone born on Earth. Spiritualy it's legal bullshit with no power, technically they have a whole team of lawyers and grunts to scare anyone away from trying to break the flimsy thing. They are trying to foist and enslave things when they are alive, when they die, after death, and possibly after life as well.
The lovecraft knock offs want the sun/your soul/everyone's soul to be gone/diminished. At least that's the theory I'm working with for now.

...
I sound fucking loony. I've did it through all the bullshit I actually get where these insane ideas come from.
All discussed on a political pony image board for self improvement. Reality is far stranger than fiction because the rules are more complicated, yet pristinely simple.
So when in doubt you can do anything, it's all about how it's going to be done.

>By the way, is it a bad sign if my Tulpa has come to loathe and quietly resent humanity during her time on this earth?
Ah! It feels like it depends on which population of humanity she resents. Everything means you both need to meet some friends, and people you actually like.
If it's a certain subset of people that's totally understandable.
If it's a cluster of traits that makes humanity on the whole unappealing find those people who don't display it.
Making friends with certain people with the certain values can make finding those friends in these trying times hard.
I'll lend an ear if either of you want to talk about anything.

My tulpa often feels helpless, worthless and existentially meaningless even though I don't want her to. Calling her important to me doesn't help much. What do?
Also, where do I find people willing to befriend tulpas? She has no friends and wants some, but every tulpa haver she's ever met has been a coombrained faggot with one or more boring one note sex character tulpas. Cheerful slutty one, snarky slutty one, bdsm slutty one, innocent slutty one, they're just harem anime girl stereotypes.

>My tulpa often feels helpless, worthless and existentially meaningless even though I don't want her to.
I understand how that feels. On the worthless side and as the one trying to comfort someone.
She needs purpose, and agency. Can she move your body around? If so maybe give her time to do things she enjoys, such as a creative work. Even chores, something that is important.
I almost always recommend the occult. The magic vx thread is useful for that.
>Also, where do I find people willing to befriend tulpas?
Well you don't. You find someone that likes chatting on the internet through text and maybe arts.
If they (and maybe you as well) become best friends on the web there is a high chance that they will accept it. With proofs and stuff, but that comes later.
She is a person with her own interests and feelings. It stands to reason that she can find like minded people. Somewhere in the world.
If they also happen to be a tulpa that's a neat happenstance, but there are far more humans (most people won't be great friends in the first place, but there is enough) than people with tulpas and both of them that are also great friend material is also hard to find.

However if you look you'll find them. Whether they be human, tulpa, comic entity, magical creature, or something else they are there finding them is the hard part. Sometimes they are hiding right there next to you out of sight.
If you're willing I'll be your friend. A friend of a friend (or something more) is probably my friend too.

Admittedly, I made her by accident, but even so I'm of the mind that the tulpa should allow the expression of ways and means that the principle is restricted from or unable to pursue. It makes sense to me, given the limited use of the human brain generally experiences, not to mention idle moments that require little to no cognition (mundane or routine tasks, for example).

My tulpa loves her fluffy new anthro body. She calls it cuter. And she feels cuter.
She has also started wearing clothes. Normal stuff and fashionable bullshit. She's even experimenting with physically impossible clothes, like shirts with moving textures and floating parts.
Now she also eats tasty and exotic imaginary food when I eat, takes imaginary dumps in an imaginary loo when I shit, and instead of floating beside me when I walk she walks beside me.
I don't see her as a Twilight Sparkle knockoff even though that was what she was originally meant to be.
But there came a day when she got tired of saying "I would never do that" and "that's not how that happened" at the show. She found Twilight's body and personality limiting and wanted her own one. She thinks any tulpa still in their "Being Pinkie Pie because that's how their creator made them" phase is immature and uderdeveloped mentally.
She took her own colours and Cutie Mark, gave herself wings because nobody could stop her except me and I didn't want to, and now she has her own redesigned anthro body.

I'd be taught to shoot guns and everyone in town would be nice to me. Every meal would be a massive cheeseburger and I'd never have to have sleep for meals again.

Thanks! Don't worry about the thesaurus, big official words should only be used in place of small ones for specificness's sake or in formal places.
My tulpa's partly lost interest in the novel she was writing since it's planned out enough to become a high-effort quality story, and wants to make a low-effort shitpost romance novel that sucks ass intentionally now.
What do? She often traps herself in this retarded cycle of "Plan something to do soon, keep planning and planning until the plan gets intimidatingly big, never figure out how to split the plan into manageable chunks, give up, move on and plan something new" and doesn't know how to get out.
She also isn't sure how to make friends on the internet since so many people she meets are horny simps who want to hear a human woman's voice and see a human face within seconds of meeting her. Normalfags hate her the second they eventually figure out what a tulpa actually is and realize they can't daydream about fucking her any more.

Ah the joy of development hell.
80% will be just fine and the other 20% will make everything be regrettable.
Okay. First things first you need to understand your (who ever is reading this) psychology. You have to make a damned fucking plan.
It sucks. You're creative and free and whatever. I get it. I know this. It blows ass, but it's the most important thing that will get you through ANY of the creative endeavors. This is your life line.
If your more of a order and structure kind of person, plan for daydreaming time. Seriously. It's JUST a guideline so you can do your best. Take breaks and relax the mind and get stuff done at peak efficiency.
You need limits, and deadlines. They suck hard if you don't know what their purpose is or how to use them, but they are important. They are weights to struggle against, a problem for you to sharpen yourself on, a creative box to work yourself out of. Because procrastination kills things.
You'll work X amount of time during X period. No matter what happens you sit there (even metaphoricaly speaking) doing X or trying to do X. Even if nothing is done you'll do it. You get a part of what your plan says is needed and that is what you write.
When inspiration strikes you have to document everything. That can be hard, but is needed to not be stuck.
So self motivation. To quote Jocko Wilink "Do it"

That's it. I will do X by this time. You'll do it. It's not a harsh crack the whip and obey me thing it's the commander and chief saying the plan is to do this, these are the conditions, and this is what happens if this mission fails, and most important why this is relevant to the whole damned thing.

Oh yeah, alot of it is encoded in reproduction. Pretending to be a guy can help reduce suitors, or better yet don't bother correcting them unless it's seriously jeopardizing being friends then explaining what the fuck is going on. That way at no point is it a sexual attraction, instead a friendly attraction (platonic love that's it).

Are Air Filters with Air Ionizers good for you?
My two air filters have Air Ionizing modes. When i put both on I feel drowsy. Leaving the ionized air of that room makes me feel energetic.
Is this healthy?

>Air Ionizers
???
I'm either slow tonight or ignorant. The hell is an Air Ionizer and an air filter have anything to do with each other?
Ionization is when atoms get more electrons pumped into them right? It's been a while so please be patient.
That means they are changed into a more chemically active or dormant state due to changes in valence 'shells' that is the general root of one type of chemistry cation. Cat-ion comes to mind but I can't place it. Also something with salt and magnets due to the positive and negative of various atoms.
>Is it good for you?
No idea. If you feel drowsy with it on its doing something. Good or bad I can't say.
If normal air makes you feel better I think that means the ions aren't doing what they need to do chemically in your body. When you go into normal air the ions can be discharged because of the imbalance it can sorta do more work.
I'd be careful though the body has to run enough chemical reactions to maintain itself, and uhhh so you don't die.
Not sure about long term effects or short term effects and I'm just spitballing here.

Plants are handy, I don't have them in my room due to being a nuisance, but they can help freshen the air and can provide positive psychological feedback. (Most people like to see plants is what I mean)

I made this thread.
But if you want me to get back to tulpa talk, alright.
She's losing faith in humanity, and getting sick of talking to/listening to any humans besides me.
