Good morning, horsefuckers and Nazis!
Today, I (and the other staff of the site) are holding an open discussion on the future of mlpol.net, answering questions, taking suggestions, and in general being autistic modfagging fuckholes.
First on the agenda: Link breaking and you: the future of rule 1 and 2, and new blood for the Sun Goddess.
While the site isn't dying off in post count (if nothing else, we've been steadily increasing there) it is stagnating in number of users. While you guys are getting more and more into the idea of /mlpol/ and a lot of you have made permanent home here, we're going to need to be more direct in our recruitment of new blood. Thus, we'd like to table the idea of restructuring our 'loose lips sink ships' policy of talking about the site offsite. Not to say we're going to take out ads on EQD and Reddit, mind you.
Our staff has grown substantially since the inception of the site, (and we're still looking for more, email in those janitor apps, either to Atlas at mlpolowner@gmail.com, the modmail at mlpol@horsefucker.org, or myself at sapphire@horsefucker.org) and we feel like between the group of us and Rule 10, we can repel the normies. Before we make such a drastic change, we wanted to come to you guys, the users of the site, and get some opinions.
Please also take this opportunity to post any questions you have for myself or the other staff.

I, for one, believe we need infamy. The same sort of infamy that 4chan had for a long time - it brought about the speed, creativity, and a constant flow of fresh users to add to the boards - which made for a remarkable userbase. Except that we can't commit the same mistakes that they did; we cannot accept low quality threads or open agendas among moderators. We need to do the same that 4chan did, except not allow the mods to decline in quality. We'd never need to even think of an exodus if 4chan's moderation wasn't openly hostile to it's users and culture.

As far are "broken links" being under review, there are much simpler solution. There are ways to tell the browser to not pass the referrer, either in browser or in site. Specifically in Firefox, in about:config there's "network.http.referer.XOriginPolicy" which is set to 0 by default. Setting it to 1 sets it to pass on referers only within one domain, and 2 only to a subdomain.

Now we have a different board, less hidden but more 'remote'.<br/>Personally, I think raids are the key, but not as you might think. Rather than calling them 'raids', I prefer to think of them as 'bombing runs'. Instead of organizing and targeting one or more boards (or all of them Xp) the idea would be to target the shills, fags, and slide-threads that are fucking with the boards themselves.<br/><br/>The plan focuses on how the immediate and tangible experience during the /mlpol/ merge was ab absence and reduction of shill/shit threads n comments. I propose that we will find more receptive members/participants if <br/>1. We can artificially create a similar scenario by way of tactical horsepoon (or other proxy 'weapon') assault on targeted boards.<br/>2. If such efforts are seen, joined in on (cuz come on, it's 4chan) and done/broadcast ENTIRELY outside the will of Mook/mods.<br/><br/>If such raids are both random (in sequence) but regular in occurrence, almost like Mongolian hordes, I cannot envision failure/defeat.<br/><br/>Just an idea tho

When activism at /pol/ hit all time high, it marked the begining of polarization of the community. -Rampart worship of pepe the frog started minor circlejerk(random discussion thats not productive or it belongs in its current board) around it. A small dent on /pol/, but nevertheless it ramains so.
-Influx of posters new to /pol/'s culture did real damage on /pol/. They didn't bother to understand the culture and custums before posting. They were easily swayed into circlejerks. AND MOST OF ALL they easily fell prey to baiting and mockery threads made by shareblue shills or bots.
-Last development I witnessed before leaving /pol/ for good was increased polarization on the board together with increasingly prevalent shill paranoia. >>684 This exact post, your post, shows the sign of paranoia.
-Later after I moved out, I saw leaked screenshot taken at some discord showing T_Donald tier Discord server. It showed Reddit Donald Supporters behaving oddly like the shills they hate, except in favor of Trump.

Thankfully, however this theory later seemed to prove false.

The deliberate attempt to parody Trump's manner of speech sounds like it's probably a native /pol/lack making a joke. Then again, from my experience the R_Donald people love to parody their own God Emperor, so maybe it isn't. Either way, is it wrong?
