>>2141Care to give us a quick rundown, m8?
>>2148I know pretty much nothing about this personally.
According to Styx this is a brand new site that has been founded to counter the leftist bias on patreon (and social media in general), offering people funding opportunities regardless of their political leaning. Their goal is to keep the terms of service as anti-censorship as possible.
Since MLPOL.NET has no long term financing plan after the current funds run out, i thought it was a decent way to reestablish a permanent account for the site in a semi-public place with relative security but without the fear of leftist thought crime accusations.
How do you know this wont turn against donors? How good is the anonimity there? Germany for instance is so fucked that if somebody tracked it back to our germanons, they could get into some major trouble.
Here is an idea though, what about donating with gift cards? Could be subtle enough? Basically anything that doesnt get tracked like bitcoin can.
So what about it? Is this acceptable to you?
Ive seen other places like ED using it to. Unless MLPOL needs no funding i dont see why we should not go for it.
>>2141>>2188When this post was first created, and hatetreon came to our attention, the reaction by the staff was that we should "wait and see." Hatetreon is new and untested, and we want to see if there are any issues before joining. At present, we are seeking funding through Stripes.
>>2197very well then, lets see what happens
This just in.

>>2197Why not both? Sync it to the same PayPal and stuff. Also is it stripe or stripes? Had a bad experience with the former, never heard of the later.
If you do a hatereon account I would probably donate. Hell, I might even donate once in a lump sum to a PayPal or something.
