Try a hard reload Ctrl+F5. There should be no relation between sending email and posting, so you might want to restart your computer also just in case.

having some issues posting, says that the site's going slow and it was probably submitted, but nothing's going through even after a soft and a hard refresh.

To where and why do you dismiss this? Don’t you see the damage the Internet has already done? What about when /pone/ was deleted from existence? What about when YouTube restricted our ability to comment on MLP videos and restricted the COYA videos from working? What about the current situation with Derpibooru? What I fear is that we will be eventually segregated in the style of the Jim Crow laws and that bronies and horsef*ckers alike will be barred from portions of the Internet, potentially leaving us no platform to communicate on. What if ISP’s blacklist sites that are either run by or cater to known bronies?

Who knows? We may eventually have to sit in the back of the bus and have a version of the “Green Book”.
