All in all 2017 was a pretty good year, I will remember it positively. Considering that at this time last year I had no interest in ponies whatsoever and thought bronies were degenerate, I would say I've gained a fun new hobby, a board, and some new anonymous internet friends; all in all a net gain.

2017

Tbh, with the exception of /mlpol/, this year has been pretty average. Sure there has been Trump and HWNDU but that hasn't been much different from other times liberals lost their shit or 4chan winning battles.

As for 2018, if there's anything that'll make different from the previous years, it'll have to come from /mlpol/ itself since 4chan hasn't aged
very well.

My favorite thing this year (other than /mlpol/) was watching the liberal tears during Trump's inauguration.

Unreservedly 2017 has been the best year of my life, and unironically its cuz of Mlpol. Horsefuckers opened my eyes and my world to MLP, and Mlpol has had more significant affects than I could name. Cheers faggots.

2017 was a refreshing year compared to the hell of current year and current year+1.

To reiterate what many others have said, the creation of mlpol was great. This community, and the lightheartedness of the show, are an excellent counter to the demoralization campaign that was launched against 4pol and its community.

The Trump presidency has also brought a good year to me. I'm filled with hope as I look around my community and see new construction and new small businesses opening up. Under Obama my community had 8 years of stagnation and businesses collapsing.

2017 was also an important year for me personally. It was the first year since I've been living on my own where I felt stable in fulfilling my needs to live in the here and now, and that I was able to to seriously start investing some wealth towards my future.

Goals for 2018 are pretty normie tier, but I want to continue exploring investment opportunities, to explore options for a starter home so that I can stop renting (GOYIM NO!), to exercise and transform myself into the man that I want to be, and to push myself beyond my comfort zones and try new things. New foods, new activities, new skills, etc.
