Whenever the latest "controversy" of the week happens and the left produces enough salt to fill a small ocean, I don't laugh at it nearly as much anymore. It's always the same shit: "[Republican] did [thing]! He's [literally Hitler/gonna start World War 3/destroying [minority group]]!" over and over with no logical basis. Don't get me wrong; it's poetic that the left, which is insanely judgmental and has spent years trying to make everyone else feel guilty about nothing, is now panicking over nothing. But whenever I see someone dump Reddit or Twitter salt, it only irritates me that these people keep doubling down on clearly false accusations, unfounded worries, and the same prejudice that they claim to hate, all so they don't have to admit they were wrong. Even after Trump's election, I spent two or three days laughing my ass off at the butthurt before thinking "okay, you can stop whining now, it's getting old".
Does anyone else feel this way?

To be honest, the larping shitpost salt on /4pol/ is more varied and original than legitimate salt.
The real stuff is always "oh my God are you kidding me? I can't even right now"
The shitpost larp salt at least mixes things up with new memes every now and then. Like adopting "TWO SCOOPS!?!?" or "OHHH NOOOOOO, THIS SUCKS!!!"

It's also funny that they're always in "AAAA I CAN'T EVEN! YOU MONSTER! AAAAAA!" mode even if it's something small like Donald having more ice cream than his buddies.
If listening to the salt's getting boring, that's ok. Personally, I think it's more fun to document the salt. Screencap it, post it places, and show normies what liberals really are. I can see what you mean, the incessant monotonous whining does get a little tiresome, but never forget that these people deserve this. These are the same people who spent the entire election laughing and crowing about the stupid backwoods racists who supported Trump, who have been making fun of and condescending to you for decades, and who would be mining your salt probably even more spitefully then we mine theirs if they'd won this election. As pissed off as conservatives were by Obama's actions, and all the liberal snark they had to endure from the media and from these same leftist Twitter retards whose salt we're currently mining, did you ever in 8 years see news reports about conservative protesters blocking highways or rioting or looting? During the 2008 campaign, did you ever hear about Republicans showing up at Obama rallies and beating people up or throwing molten cheese at them? Did Tim Allen ever have himself photographed holding up a fake severed head designed to look like Obama?
Never forget that even at our absolute worst we're better than these people, and they've had this coming for a long, long time now.
