In the interest of moving forward I'll just state that I honestly would resign if enough people took the wheel but since I want /mlpol/ to do well and look great I'm staying in unless we hit the point where we have a very large management council. This most certainly isn't my team however we'd do well to remember that although we are the only real active image board out to represent our community, the members of our community are still all over the place one of the main reasons people wanted to do this was to shill awareness for our presence. I doubt it'll be a problem though since I trust the community members to keep drama to themselves now but I will put my foot down if what happened in the winterball thread happens here. I love community involvement and seeing this place active especially when it comes to creating content which is why it would hurt me just as much as it would hurt all of you if I were to pull the plug and go from the /mlp/ way of managing by allowing the user base to vote on changes to assuming those who wish to participate will join the management like /pol/ does.

I've been on the /4ccg/ on /vg/ enough to see how un-fun things can get and been on /mlp/ enough before matches to see meta drama take place and don't want it to move its way over here. Especially with petty squabbles between community members and playing favoritism.

We all just figure out what we need to do and then do it. I just am the one who drew the straw to be the PR guy on top of all my other responsibilities testing and transferring blender models. Personally so far I was satiesfied with your work both for the models and the general team management during the cups itself. the MLPOL team showed a level of competence i did not expect and I would vouch in favour of keeping you in charge. I am willing to accept this argumentation. However, it begs the question at what point a namefag/tripfag or its behaviors starts to become a meme. I think this is a fluid process and it is wrong to rule out the possibility. Humemes exist.

secondly, I am of the opinion that Atlas is not just a poster per se. He is after all the owner and founder of this site and was it not for him, none of us would be here. I feel this warrants a degree of respect. However, I will not insits on forcing him in if Atlas disagrees on the matter or if it would in general damage team morale.

If a player does not violate the rules of the cup and the community is in favour for it, I think the most reasonably action is to add the player, regardless of potential blowback. These cups in itself generate a lot of friction and drama, a bit more because of 1 or 2 players wont do much.

Also, on a general Note. I'd like to suggest that MLPOL and our football team should overthink our relations to /mlp/. The /mlp/ Football thread, the /mlp/ team management and its football thread regulars in particular. Due to some archive research i did in the past days for an unrelated subject I came to the realisiation that these threads and its community do not have the best interest for MLPOL in mind. That with my personal experience I made with them in the past I would suggest we either cool off or flat out cancel any future relations to them, as past and current ventures bore little fruit.

Look: A Celestia head with the usual mane colors, a large horn, and a Wehrmacht officer cap.
Justification: “Heil Celestia” is a ponyfied version of Heil Hitler. It has been used before, during, and after April 1st. It is not always used, but it is a strong, recognizable symbol of our board culture. Also, there are a lot of appealing images of Celestia in a Wehrmacht officer uniform.

I'd say we lucked out the /pol/eague got as many as we did, 500+ views is the largest an invotational has ever gotten, which goes to show how large /pol/ is if it can beat /b/ for sheer numbers. 1. Is it worth our time?
The /pol/eauge it certainly is, the audience will be large and it'll all be us or /pol/acks who will understand our the general culture of what they came to watch.

For the music, this is my suggestion. We have two excellent pieces of OC music, both of which would work well for an anthem. To have both heard, I suggest we take the /mlp/ route and have two anthems. The first anthem would be for the group stage, and the other for the knock out stage. Since there is a raw 67% chance of /mlpol/ reaching the knockouts, there is a high probability that both songs will play.

Sorry anon I've been extremely busy as of late, working on a bunch to make the /pol/eague run smoothly. /mlpol/'s aesthetics are about 99% done with just minor edits needing to be made for a few of the team. If you want to see specific models let me know otherwise I'll post that along with the hype thread on Wednesday after the group stages have been decided.

Now we need to have music in very soon, and I'd say we have a larger selection then we did last time. I'm not going to make a formal poll since that'd require making a new thread and we're too close to the actual deadline to bother. So just post what you'd like to see for music like so that I can have a good idea of what to add in for music.
