>>86010Was just thinking roughly the same thing. One thing that keeps me involved in mlp is the consistent stream of salt that it gives me. The best way to acquire this salt, raiding, is a great community activity that is fun for everyone. If not for meatspace obligations, I would join you in your crusade. Best of luck anons.
I was in a thread last night on /b/, some stupid edgelord asking anons to tell him where to cut himself, and some other anon was spamming it with horsepussy so I joined in. We pushed it to image limit, thread was nothing but horse porn by the end of it. I'm still not banned over there. I've also been posting ponies here and there in random threads and haven't been getting banned for that either, and I've been seeing more and more GR15 violations all over the place so I think others are doing the same. The mods don't really give a shit anymore I think, we should just start posting ponies all over the place and mentioning /mlpol/ whenever appropriate. Rome is beginning to fall.
>>86036Mods couldn't take a pedo joke.
>>86041I said I was a pedo-sexual and defended pedophilia by saying most don't act on their feelings and instead jerk off to anime and use sex dolls.
>>86045and I've seen the same mods not touch a post that was actually unironic involving that shit.
>>86010When you see one you want to spam let me know. I've got a clop folder that I've been dying to bump and mine the salt right out of it.
>>86045wtf, mods aren't even remotely consistent anymore. They literally have loli and child sex doll threads daily on /b/, sometimes more than two at a time are allowed. I restate my original position that mods just don't care anymore and want 4chan to die so they can cash in their hotpocket pensions and go home.
>>86072>remotely consistent anymore>implying they ever have beenThey kill all of the board culture threads and kill a lot of happenings but still allow all the /b/ tier threads. I don't think the mods have been anything other then gay. If they were more transparent like they are here they might be better but they've been shit for a long while now. Thats the number one advantage to this place, our mods aren't gay and hopefully we won't get any that are.
>>86039So how it went "pedo", got your ban repealed?
how strong are our numbers when we mobilze raids, how many active individual IPs can we harvest from our current userbase if we have to? This might be important for future ventures.
>>87178There were only like 6-7 mlpol anon in a spontaneous raid on a /bant/ thread not long ago. We already don't have a lot of Manpower and very few actually raid. If we organize for a few days, we could get anywhere between 10-20+ anons prepped for a raid. This is because of the irregularity of visits to this site. We could also get more raiders from the discord, but I refuse to use discord so I can't estimate those numbers.
>>87180any idea how many /mlpol/ related discords are out there, how stocked or active they are or if they even use this site on a regular basis?
>>87181There was one big one that now has something like 5 active splinters. I don't know how stocked they are, and as best I can tell, most of those users rarely use the site, although most probably use it more often than never
>>871813 I know of, not including other friendly discords. 2 used to have a lot of activity, but I heard their activity fell off a cliff at some point. They're not dead, but are not what they used to be. The other 1 is new, which I know little about. There are some other tangentially related channels that may be of use. I don't know. Maybe I'll have to actually start using discord and find out myself.
>>87182> 5 active splintersJesus Christ. That really is not good for a small community like ours. Someone needs to tell those faggots to get over here.
>>87182>>87186I am seriously pondering if communication software like discord is actually killing chan culture.
>>87188>>87189Well, there was "MLPOL," the original giant discord. Then a group of Communists (yes, communists) split from that discord and made their own one. Then another group left and revitalized the dead "My Little Politics" discord which was a big one in early April. Another group split off to form "Equine Reich," disliking what they thought were Anti-gay policies in the MLPOL server. Now the biggest splinter is one created by a former mod of the MLPOL server who sought to replace it entirely with a new one under his administration. There are also smaller splinters, like "no fap," and I think a different former mod has a server.
>>87193What fucking morons, the whole lot of them. Did they forget what an anonymous image board is all about? It's about being anonymous. None of you know who the fuck I am on this board. For all you know I could be a black gay Jewish Freemason. Unless I made myself known none of you would know for sure. So splitting off because they don't agree with the other side? What fucking pussies. If you hold true to your beliefs stand and fight. Discuss the ideas, and win. Fuck them. The only thing that's worse than a commie, is a coward
>>87193that sounds rather informed, thanks for that Anon.
>group of CommunistsI dont support communist or their ideology, but from that one i have actually heard. I did not expect that there was enough of an audience of leftybronies to cater to them, but whatever. Dont want them here either.
>Equine ReichThe Gay Community of MLPOL was never big, but I was always of the opinion that they never belonged here, after all Homosexuality is objectively speaking bad for the individual and society and I remember the unnecessary drama we had about them here. I would restrain myself from contacting these people
Judging from your Intel I would suggest we make contact with My Little Politics and the subsplinter of that one former MLPOL Discord mod. perhaps we get a handful of new users out of this.
>>87198
>be a black gay Jewish FreemasonI recently saw a commentary on that one NBC video that Gamergate and Discord are responsible for the Alt Right.
If you can believe what they said ther,e which is doubtful, there exist(ed) Alt Right Server where new members have to submit photography of their skin to be determined what ethnicity they are. I always wondered why /pol/ never had such a feature.
>>87200My Little Politics has been around for a very long time. I think we have contacts there. As for the former discord mod - he's already mlpol.net staff. We've been trying, and there are a small number of the discord users who use the site. But in general, people who use the discords don't use the site much
>>87198I see your point and on many levels I agree, but allow me to devil's advocate. Many posters have a distinctive style, or affect to their posts which would take great time and effort (read: artifice) to eliminate. Take Nigel
no bully for example, he can be pretty obvious even when he's legitimately discussing. Attempting to eliminate individual nuance would be disingenuous in the least. Additionally, some anons literally
want the comfort and convenience of being able to vet and/or have vetted someone, as well as a namefag and/or reference when considering opinions (or shitposts). There are alot of benefits to namefaggery.
Further, discord communities had a great deal to do with keeping the Mlpol community
together especially during the merge-purge in april, and said communities may be sufficiently satisfying for the anons who frequent.
Having said, I also agree with your closing statement.
>>87193>Communists>faggots>TestletsSo basically Discord acted as a degenerate filter for this place? Guess I can't say bad things about it anymore.
>>87211Indeed
Also what a wonderful smiley you have there
>>87207I think the identifiable posters are in part because we're a small community, on 4chan you occasionally get recognizable anons but mostly it's due to attention whoring or tripfagging. But I agree that trying to persuade the Discord users to come to the site is probably a lost cause. I'm sure most of the MLPOL diaspora is aware of us, people who use Discord probably do so because it's their preferred communication method. It's really not a new concept, Discord is really just a modernized version of chat rooms and instant messaging, both of which predate imageboards. I vastly prefer anonymous imageboards to a chatroom where everyone has an identity, but that's me.
>>87214True, a lot of our recognition value can be attributed to our compact community size and flags. Perhaps we should consider turning them off four a week and Dee how if goes. Regardless, I am one redpilled toeards nigelposting and would probably still see it
>>87215Nigel is in a category by himself.
>>87214I agree, across the board
no pun but again for sake of argument, one could assert that anonymity is its own form of cowardice. Discord - as well as other resources - allow one to be weighed and measured not only for immediate ideas and positions, but for those over time and process. One can readily focus on and hilight opinions and dispositions that have been proven over time to be of quality and worth consideration, while omitting opinions and dispositions that one might find less appealing or comprehensive. One could counter by saying that anon-boards allow for filters, but they make less available the ability to more readily connect with anons whom one finds the value in conversation with.
>>87161Didn't bother to repeal it. I don't want to deal with all the shill threads any more.
>>87219Things change, if everything turns for the best for that site then it would be good if you're ready to go back to it again.
>>87204Yes you do have a contact in the discords it's me. I am the owner of the /mlpol/ discord the one created to replace MLPOL the one that got overran with legit communists and gays.
>>87200I was head mod of MLPOL I am also Admin of My Little Politics.
>>87193The Equestrian Reich is owned by a tranny who has allied with the commies that split off from the main group. They have a Max Sterner Book club going on lead by the main commie that lead the first splinter. They are made out of those who where leftover from MLPOL and rejected from /mlpol/ for being degenerates.
>>87211Kinda. The new discord kinda filters out the degeneracy before it even enters then from there we try to push the board internally to users since it is more inline with the ideals of mlpol.net
>>87193Lol nofap isn't a splinter it was just a movement ran by one of the users. It was no real splinter. As for the Reason for the splinter. The MLPOL discord fell apart bad came down to the fact there where legit commies on the staff, an owner that didn't speak English and people who defended degeneracy. There was a legit fight in the staff chat about if we should call the Gay Trap their "Preferred pronouns" It was that event that was the final nail in the coffin that made it clear the old discord was dead and a new one had to be made. After months of trying to work internally to keep the place alive and not a pit of degeneracy it became clear there was no other option other than to start over.
The new one was made out of staff of all 3 discords and other Site staff besides my self to ensure it would be pure and inline with the site and the ideals of mlpol. It has a vetting system to get in that ensures that no shills, commies, or degenerates get into it. Since the discord is meant to be inline with the site I don't want to advertise the site to degenerates.
>>87186The most active ones are The Aryanne Thread Discord and /mlpol/. My Little Politics is very slow most of it's users moved to /mlpol/.
>>87182Out of all the splinters from MLPOL only /mlpol/, the commie server and the Gay Commie server are active. Out of the 3 the /mlpol/ one is the largest and most active. I wouldn't go near the gay commie server or the commie server they are both pretty degenerate.
>>87400
>Primordial MLPOL Discord>legit commies on the staff,>owner that didn't speak English>people who defended degeneracy>legit fight in the staff chat about if we should call the Gay Trap their "Preferred pronouns"I see. I had no idea we had an insider on the site or in the staff. That explains some situations I paid witness to here in the past. Thank you for your foresight and leadership for the good of the Site Anon28! I highly approve of your actions and defending moral decency. I am glad to know you are keeping pur community free of deconstructive elements. You do us all a great service I am grateful for.
>>87400I am very surprised to learn this, it changes my perspective.
>>87414Sorry for lack of mod tags I am at work and mobile posting.
Yeah the old discord caused a good deal of drama here on the board in the past. When the new one was created one of the admins from the old discord caused a ton of shit. He was mad that I didn't select him for the staff of the new discord he was not up to the standards I set for my staff. If you ever see a "Anon28 is a powert hungry Jew" post or thread that's him.
But since the split the /mlpol/ discord has been drama free and I have been working on getting more cross posting from the discord to the board. The new discord was created with the board in mind and a huge emphisis on it being linked to the board. Every day the ANN anon post the update thread in the ANN discord channel and every update post for the Spanish happening is posted to the general and world news channel the users come to the board for the news. When we have a happening we link the users to the thread on the board and try to have the users update the thread with any info they find.
We have been using the new discord and it's quality to pull in old members who left the old discord due to drama. We also pull from the old abandoned discords that where bunkers when 4mlpol fell. We have been trying to get the community back together since many users left over the months. On the side we shill site on any pony related threads on 4pol.
I love the site and the community as a whole and it is why I made the new discord. I seen the old one drifted away from the site and the ideals of mlpol as a whole. I seen that it was turning into a pit of degeneracy and total shit. Unless something drastic was done we where going to lose all those users to degeneracy and the lies of communism. So a new discord was made.
>>87180Tbh our raiding power is best suited for attrition raids. The on going raid we did to /qa/ and /sp/ showed that we may lack numbers, but can grind a few places down with a constant and steady shitposting, mod watch depending. With greater numbers hard quick raids would be possible but until then best we can do are battles of attrition
>>87400>There was a legit fight in the staff chat about if we should call the Gay Trap their "Preferred pronouns"Jesus christ I wasn't aware it was this bad. Your splinter server makes sense, more than ever now.
>>87218Well an anonymous board and an irc have absolutely different objectives.
While on an anon board you can radically switch your opinion from one thread or another whitout any punishment, your word has a weight on a irc, and no.mattwr where you honor what you do, if someone recognizes you and someway links you to a statement you have made in the past on said irc, well you have no way of denying that.
It is not exactly cowardice, but it is convenient to have an anon board instead of a tripfag palace.
If you want, of course you can just tripfag some posts and make a trail here, but why would you do that?
>>87630Once upon a time, there was no such things as anon-boards. There was no option of hiding one's handle or username or whatever
>inWAYb4 redditand participants learned to act as though their words might be used against them if they acted inappropos.
>>87630One day on one of the big discords, for about an hour, around two dozen people all had the same name and avatar, including me. I discovered I felt like posting things I would have been afraid to if I did not have that anonymity. It really does make a difference
>>87664Yeah everyone had my name and profile pic that day that was a fun day.
>>87663I know, but users also took advantage of this to form small groups that divided from the bigger group, causing the community to shatter and ultimately destroying the original place.
An anon has no weight on his person outside its claims and current thread events, making it a better place for objective discussion.
Literally a beggar could outsmart a CIA agent on an anonymous board.
Not like you can't lie and create fake accounts on non anon boards, but still, anon boards are convenient.
Of course, if you do want you can claim to have made certain statements on other threads, no one is stopping you.
