I was in a thread last night on /b/, some stupid edgelord asking anons to tell him where to cut himself, and some other anon was spamming it with horsepussy so I joined in. We pushed it to image limit, thread was nothing but horse porn by the end of it. I'm still not banned over there. I've also been posting ponies here and there in random threads and haven't been getting banned for that either, and I've been seeing more and more GR15 violations all over the place so I think others are doing the same. The mods don't really give a shit anymore I think, we should just start posting ponies all over the place and mentioning /mlpol/ whenever appropriate. Rome is beginning to fall.

They kill all of the board culture threads and kill a lot of happenings but still allow all the /b/ tier threads. I don't think the mods have been anything other then gay. If they were more transparent like they are here they might be better but they've been shit for a long while now. Thats the number one advantage to this place, our mods aren't gay and hopefully we won't get any that are.

There were only like 6-7 mlpol anon in a spontaneous raid on a /bant/ thread not long ago. We already don't have a lot of Manpower and very few actually raid. If we organize for a few days, we could get anywhere between 10-20+ anons prepped for a raid. This is because of the irregularity of visits to this site. We could also get more raiders from the discord, but I refuse to use discord so I can't estimate those numbers.

3 I know of, not including other friendly discords. 2 used to have a lot of activity, but I heard their activity fell off a cliff at some point. They're not dead, but are not what they used to be. The other 1 is new, which I know little about. There are some other tangentially related channels that may be of use. I don't know. Maybe I'll have to actually start using discord and find out myself.

Well, there was "MLPOL," the original giant discord. Then a group of Communists (yes, communists) split from that discord and made their own one. Then another group left and revitalized the dead "My Little Politics" discord which was a big one in early April. Another group split off to form "Equine Reich," disliking what they thought were Anti-gay policies in the MLPOL server. Now the biggest splinter is one created by a former mod of the MLPOL server who sought to replace it entirely with a new one under his administration. There are also smaller splinters, like "no fap," and I think a different former mod has a server.

My Little Politics has been around for a very long time. I think we have contacts there. As for the former discord mod - he's already mlpol.net staff. We've been trying, and there are a small number of the discord users who use the site. But in general, people who use the discords don't use the site much

I see your point and on many levels I agree, but allow me to devil's advocate. Many posters have a distinctive style, or affect to their posts which would take great time and effort (read: artifice) to eliminate. Take Nigel no bully for example, he can be pretty obvious even when he's legitimately discussing. Attempting to eliminate individual nuance would be disingenuous in the least. Additionally, some anons literally want the comfort and convenience of being able to vet and/or have vetted someone, as well as a namefag and/or reference when considering opinions (or shitposts). There are alot of benefits to namefaggery.
Further, discord communities had a great deal to do with keeping the Mlpol community together especially during the merge-purge in april, and said communities may be sufficiently satisfying for the anons who frequent.

I think the identifiable posters are in part because we're a small community, on 4chan you occasionally get recognizable anons but mostly it's due to attention whoring or tripfagging. But I agree that trying to persuade the Discord users to come to the site is probably a lost cause. I'm sure most of the MLPOL diaspora is aware of us, people who use Discord probably do so because it's their preferred communication method. It's really not a new concept, Discord is really just a modernized version of chat rooms and instant messaging, both of which predate imageboards. I vastly prefer anonymous imageboards to a chatroom where everyone has an identity, but that's me.

Discord - as well as other resources - allow one to be weighed and measured not only for immediate ideas and positions, but for those over time and process. Lol nofap isn't a splinter it was just a movement ran by one of the users. It was no real splinter. As for the Reason for the splinter. The MLPOL discord fell apart bad came down to the fact there where legit commies on the staff, an owner that didn't speak English and people who defended degeneracy. There was a legit fight in the staff chat about if we should call the Gay Trap their "Preferred pronouns" It was that event that was the final nail in the coffin that made it clear the old discord was dead and a new one had to be made. After months of trying to work internally to keep the place alive and not a pit of degeneracy it became clear there was no other option other than to start over.
The new one was made out of staff of all 3 discords and other Site staff besides my self to ensure it would be pure and inline with the site and the ideals of mlpol. It has a vetting system to get in that ensures that no shills, commies, or degenerates get into it. Since the discord is meant to be inline with the site I don't want to advertise the site to degenerates.

Yeah the old discord caused a good deal of drama here on the board in the past. When the new one was created one of the admins from the old discord caused a ton of shit. He was mad that I didn't select him for the staff of the new discord he was not up to the standards I set for my staff. If you ever see a "Anon27 is a powert hungry Jew" post or thread that's him.

But since the split the /mlpol/ discord has been drama free and I have been working on getting more cross posting from the discord to the board. The new discord was created with the board in mind and a huge emphisis on it being linked to the board. Every day the ANN anon post the update thread in the ANN discord channel and every update post for the Spanish happening is posted to the general and world news channel the users come to the board for the news. When we have a happening we link the users to the thread on the board and try to have the users update the thread with any info they find.

We have been using the new discord and it's quality to pull in old members who left the old discord due to drama. We also pull from the old abandoned discords that where bunkers when 4mlpol fell. We have been trying to get the community back together since many users left over the months. On the side we shill site on any pony related threads on 4pol.

I love the site and the community as a whole and it is why I made the new discord. I seen the old one drifted away from the site and the ideals of mlpol as a whole. I seen that it was turning into a pit of degeneracy and total shit. Unless something drastic was done we where going to lose all those users to degeneracy and the lies of communism. So a new discord was made.

Tbh our raiding power is best suited for attrition raids. The on going raid we did to /qa/ and /sp/ showed that we may lack numbers, but can grind a few places down with a constant and steady shitposting, mod watch depending. With greater numbers hard quick raids would be possible but until then best we can do are battles of attrition

While on an anon board you can radically switch your opinion from one thread or another whitout any punishment, your word has a weight on a irc, and no.mattwr where you honor what you do, if someone recognizes you and someway links you to a statement you have made in the past on said irc, well you have no way of denying that.

It is not exactly cowardice, but it is convenient to have an anon board instead of a tripfag palace.
