The reason we chose to leave the support we had for the beinsarea was the drama, infighting, constant banning at random and the degeneracy that took over the tube.

We still like you guys and we don't hate you and we don't want you shutdown. The constant drama was getting too much and causing too many issues so when we where approached about a 2nd one that they would strive to keep drama free we accepted.

The new cytube isn't to shut you down, we know their staff and they feel the same they just wish to be competition and are willing to welcome you to their cytube. i never used either benisarea or the new cytube, but from what i understand things are like this:

- benisarea existed as a room on cytube before old /mlpol/
- when April 1st came around benisarea hosted MLP streams for old /mlpol/
- Benisare had homosexual users from the beginning who were ERPing with each other and posted nudes
- old /mlpol/ did not care about the faggotry at first and just cared about community building
- old /mlpol/ was gone, benisare continue to be used by its regulars, /pol/ and /mlp/
- Mlpol.net was founded, people now joined benisarea from the new site
- fast forward 1-2 months, the drama on benisare is getting too much, the room is locked and people are banned over homosexual drama
- /mlpol/ hold a poll about homosexual content on the site and stops turning a blind eye to it.
- a new mlpol.net cytube room is founded promoted by Atlas to offer a community hoster alternative to benisarea
- benisarea drama continues, the room slowly but surely is abandoned by mlpol regulars, who eventually join the new room
- people from benisarea start making drama threads on /mlpol/
- this thread happens

Mlpol has nothing to do with the third party chats and sites that are hosted outside of mlpol except if an admin or atlas itself says so, as those are the higher ranks on mlpol so they should be ready to make this kind of decision, taking full responsibility for it's outcomes.
Also it not only ok but almost obligatory to have an alternative in this kind of matter, if someone creates a discord, there must be at least two other discords as alternatives for this ensures that there is no power abuse. Remember when mlpol was first taken down?
We used to have at the very least 6 bunkers, smaller and bigger and in the end we finally settled for mlpol.net thanks to Atlas quick work and fallen pineapples commitment to abandon his own bunker to help with ours.
We should take this as an example, discords and third parties are not exclusives, we must have various of them as they are bunkers, even the beloved mlpol.net is just a bunker, the most successful one.
If the day comes when heavens on fire, we shall be ready to move forward another one.

That is wrong; It is not up to them at all. It is up to the users they serve. The problem here is that benisarea has already, I repeat, already, been established as the official cytube, and the so called mods went behind the community and talked to that one aspie who organizes everything and just agreed to change the status quo without consulting anyone. While it may be true that people want a new cytube or something, it is very unfair to the established group (not that any irregulars use that cytube anyway but that's besides the point), and should at least have been put up to a vote.

I said third party has nothing to do with mlpol.net as mlpol.net is a bunker owned by atlas.
The mlpol community and mlpol.net are two different entities, they may depend on each other to work but they can work individually separated.
This makes it quite tricky to understand what official actually means as there is nothing the mlpol community as a whole agrees at being official (mlpol.net is an exception)
So since mlpol.net is the biggest bunker if it's admin or owner created a third party irc for mlpol.net it would be mlpol.net's official irc, that wouldn't mean it's the communities official irc as that is the choice of community but counting on the size of mlpol.net, the irc created by it's admin would get big real fast, maybe taking the majority of the userbase with it.

Now to answer the actual post, yes it was unfair and it can be a matter discussed on this site as long as the mods here can actually do something to correct the issue, if not we are just screaming for no reason.
It is right to pose problems in a public way but only when they can be solved in the first place.

Upon further discussion and the input of the user base we have decided to make neither the benisarea or the mlpol_party_room the "official" mlpol.net cytube. At the end of the day we feel it is best both cytubes can live and compete with one another and users be given more than one choice of cytube to hang on. For fairness we will allow this one to stay sticked for the next 3 days but we will be editing out the "official" part from the title and post. As stated we let you guys keep yours up for a week as a sticky we will allow them 3 days.

We do ask that the staff of the two cytubes please don’t fight and raid one another and be mature about the situation.

As far as I am concerned mlpol.net as the biggest cohesive mlpol community on the internet has more than enough rights to set up an "official" Streaming room on any site we damn well please. This is none of benisreas business since that community has become hostile towards reasomnable viewing habits.
