The two B-1Bs flew alongside two Japanese F-2 jet fighters within Japanese airspace before conducting an exercise over South Korea with four South Korean F-15 fighters in response to the latest North Korean missile test, as well as the previous July 4 launch of the "Hwansong-14" rocket, the USAF.

This, and I wonder why they allowed NK to exist as long as it did. It might have been that during the Soviet era it would have lead to escalate the cold-war into actual war. But after I think there was a golden opportunity to take NK out.

Worst case I assume NK is mad enough to have built a giant "stockpile" of conventional (and other miscellaneous) explosives somewhere quite deep down that they will detonate. But if worst come to pass it will probably lead to a cooldown of earth due to particles in the atmosphere and environmentalist can rejoice.
