Imagine a sequel that out-Korras Avatar: The Legend Of Korra. What would that be like?
Avatar: The Last Airbender was an amazing, deep beloved animated series about fighting for your country and what you believe in, training hard and practicing to master your talents, learning and keeping an open mind, and saving the world from an all-consuming threat the world's biggest government hides from its people until the heroes proved there really was a war going on outside of Ba Sing Se.
Avatar: The Legend Of Korra was a shitty sequel about a Mary Sue that already mastered three elements and unlocks the fourth after a deus ex machina. The show was bad, the writing was worse, the best writer was gone, and the remaining writers wanted to spitefully rewrite and retcon the original's mythos while trying to make theirs "Better". It also had diversity pandering (Muh black lesbian avatar!).

This was my first experience with a fandom desu. I loved ATLA once you get past the first season it gets great till then its just world building and character development. I'd say its still my favorite cartoon of all time if not favorite show of all time even beating mlp for top spot. LOK did it a huge disservice and killed everything in the world and reconned a lot of the lore in an incoherent way. Don't watch LOK but I'd strongly suggest ATLA if you have free time.

Korra is absolutely 100% garbage -1/10 shit.
Airbender is one of the best shows of all time. I originally saw it in french, and it's significantly worse than the English original due to word play, call backs and hidden meanings completely being left out.
Airbender is definitely not red or blue pilled though. A lot of it is about finding your own personal identity. Who you are and what YOU believe. It also values hard work and actually facing your problems head on instead of being a crybaby bitch about them. But it also shows the danger of loving your country too much, it points out that morality is completely relative and that most of the enemy are just people looking for love and happiness just as much as you. Iroh is a major anti-red pill yet one of the best characters. Watch his section in tales of ba sing se. Fighting for something someone else instilled in you is the biggest sin in Airbender. The show is entirely about not looking at life in black or white, but the infinite shades of grey that change from every perspective. I'm kind of hard in rating Korra, on it's own it's an above average show. But ATLA's mere existence raises the bar so high that it's an impossible act to follow. I highly suggest binge watching it right now.

We have /1ntr/, but sufficiently enough /mlpol/ has always been a catch all. The argument that this is about quality doesn't stand up so much, as the quality of this discussion has maintained consistent with the quality of the overall board. However, it would be nice to see /1ntr/ become a bit more lively.
