Hallo mein volk kameraden! Das ist scheiße deutsch ja?
>>55468I've been using this to learn Portuguese. Its alright still I know I will still need to be around native speakers to get used to the accent. It helps that I already am fluent in Spanish so starting a new language sounds like a challenge I might be willing to take.

>>55469I was pretending to be busy. I can translate you things if you need to but i dont really know a good source for academically learning german as a language, or at least for amateur purposes. I learned and expanded most of my english outside of educations just by consuming english speaking media.
>>55783Hi Germanbro, I am doing research of German flying disks. In this video
https://archive.org/details/1989-UFO-Das-3-Reich-schlaegt-zurueck at 00:01:12 is the words shown in Pic 1 and then followed by Pic 2 and 3.
Can you translate or give me the gist of what they are saying about it? Are they implying a disk with an Iron Cross on it landed in West Germany in 1979?
This would greatly help my research, thank you.
>>56131at 1 minute 12 seconds, there is no shown text on screen in the section you mentioned,
have you given me the correct time code or do you need the audio translated?
>>56131if you want the audio translated, leave a note from what time to start to what time to finish.
Been using Duolingo. Makes it easy to read and hear the language well, but I have trouble speaking it. Need to start watching German TV or something.

If you wanted to translate from 01m00s to 04m00s I would be grateful. And if you indicated scene change in that, even better.
Sorry for the delayed reply.

>>56344>translate from 01m00s to 04m00sEin Ufobericht der in unsere Hände gelangte, soll nun für sich sprechen. Wahrheit oder Fälschung? Hier der Bericht wörtlich wiedergegeben:
*Rheinland in Westdeutschland, 1979*
Alles ist hier sehr still.
Serious question why learn German? Its like 60% muslim atm. Thats like learning arabic.
>>56531An Ufo Report that fell into our Hands shall now speak for itself. Truth or Fake? Here now the Report word by word:
*Rheinland in Westphalen, West Germany 1979*
"Saturday Evening. A spaceship, a flying saucer, is coming down from the sky to low height. It is maybe a little faster than a sportsman aircraft, but is only making singing noises. It is flying into my direction. I do have time to take a photograph when it flew over me. On the lower side it has 3 bumps and in the middle a darkblue dot. I can spot a swastika with sharp corners.
The whole Space ship is pretts big and makes a fear inducing impression. It looks very foreign. it continues flying calmy new the ground. Then, I can see that it is landing somewhere. I remember the direction, as it was the path I wanted to take anyways. In the sourroundign region are only closed businesses, where nobody is around at this time of day. Behind a wall the Saucer is standing in the light of dawn, but everything is still cleary to see.
The three bumps on the lower side are equippes with Wheels, who have been laid under it as it seems. The truck with the crane in the background is doing something I can not tell. There are 2 men. One under the ship and another one on the roof. There must be a hatch there, since he disappeared. Everything is very silent around here. On the saucer is a cross that looks like inverted Wehrmacht Insignia. The ship does not have any windoes, but two spaced out openings (maybe covered with wire), but not with glass.
On the edges the saucer has some kind of strange plates, that looks like wheels from a turbing, but have to be something else. The three bumps and the similar looking structure on top have pipes that looks like artillery weapons. They are way too thick for antenneaes. In total, the ship has a size of about 18 to 20 Meters. It looks threatening. Besides the Truck with the crane stands another car with a registration plate from Solingen (another city in the area). The secret observation had to be aborted when a green Volkswagen drove into the area."
>>56532You continue to make a bad impression on me, Ancap poster. First you accuse the Authoritarian right of being the same as Communists & Antifa, then you talk poorly about Hitler in favour of jews and now this. I will remember that.
>>56535Amazing! Thank you so much!! This is one of the earliest publications from the group I am researching. This also clarifies something. I think this report is the initiation of the things that they have researched and published since then. You have helped me unlock what initiated this group and its publications!
Is it normal for the "inverted Wehrmacht Insignia" to be used in 1979?
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
>>56540It was my pleasure Anon. No need to thank me. Anyone with a little knowledge of english could have translated this for you.
As far as I know most (if not all) Military Insignia of the Wehrmacht have not been outlawed in Germany and many are still in use or only slightly changed.
>>56545I am compelled to thank you because it was beyond my abilities, but crucial to my research. It is also interesting to know that it could be a 1979 Germany craft rather than a "surviving Nazi" craft. Very interesting indeed. It would imply that Germany still has the tech.
I'd rather learn russian and/or some brand of gookspeak. I was trying to learn french for a while but it seems like a waste of time given what's happening to europe, sorry to blackpill but if I wanted to speak to germans I'd be better off learning arabic at this rate so long as they keep electing angela merkle
>>56569I don't get this. If the language is under such thread, wouldn't that make the reason to preserve much more important? Opting out of it literally spells death for the German language in a symbolic way.
>>56571Agreed, sensible leaf. Don't forget this board potentially has people looking to create divisions. Your logic holds that defeatest at bay :)
And isn't this board all about preservation?
>>56571>>56569the EU is a continental multiethnic vassal state put in place by the USA and the jews to threaten communist/Excommunist territory. The jews have turned on the communists and want to smite them now. its more or less a continueation of the cold war with less obvious means, but just as if not more vicious.
>>56573That is obvious as all politics dealing with the Russia has been more or less "West vs. East." Also, consider NATO. Something that serves no purpose now but to further divisive conflict.
>>56573>put in place by the USA??
Oh I suppose you mean the vassal'isation was put in place not the EU put in place? Although looking at the history it is stated "After World War II, European integration was seen as an antidote to the extreme nationalism which had devastated the continent." --
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_UnionAnd this happened in 1990:
“Article II of this Act on 31 August 1951 set aside all Allied Control Council Law but in fact this occurred only on 12 September 1990 with the “Treaty on the Final Settlement with Respect to Germany”. Until 1951 the seized patents were used by the Allies technologically and economically.” --
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deutsches%20Patent-%20und%20MarkenamtAnd in 1992:
The European Union was formally established when the Maastricht Treaty --
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Union#Maastricht_Treaty_.281992.E2.80.932007.29The post 1990 EU might be an attempt to throw off American/Allied influence.
Germany has been becoming more and more anti-American. There is small pieces of evidence of a rebellion building in Germany ever since the war ended and the German people got cucked.
One of the latest:
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-07-24/eu-retaliate-within-days-if-us-imposes-new-sanctions-russiaSome in the US want war with Russia to divert public attention from the pedos in its gov. Europe would take the brunt of the conflict and so is naturally against it. EU/USA division can only grow as Trump keeps threatening the bad side of the US gov.
>>56574>Something that serves no purpose now but to further divisive conflict.Fucking this!
We beat the commies. All this passive-aggressive West vs. East bullshit is a waste of energy.
>>56569If you must learn a new language, and your native language is English, I would definitely not recommend anything as alien as an oriental langauge, or even Russian. They are just so different as to make the process very difficult. Spanish is also the most useful second language for an English speaker to know because of the number of spanish speakers in the United States.
According to the Department of Defense's classification of the difficulty of learning languages, ranking difficulty of learning the language for a native English speaker from category I - the easiest - to Category IV - the hardest. Romance langauges are in category I, German is in Category II (alongside Indonesian for some reason), and the Oriental languages are category IV. Essentially always Romance languages are the easiest to learn alongside the Germanic languages
https://www.lingholic.com/hardest-languages-learn/ >>56545>>56548Quick update on the "inverted Wehrmacht Insignia".
From 1956 the German Air Force (Luftwaffe) used a flanged Iron Cross style insignia. --
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_Air_ForceWhich makes the alleged Flying Disk sighting in 1979 marked with a Nazi-era Wehrmacht insignia 34 years out of date and after their defeat. No wonder this lead to a flurry of activity and speculation.
I've been causally working on my German for about two years now with Duolingo. I know a lot of words and I can speak simple sentences, but I feel like my improvment has stalled. Any advice?
