That's a piece by "Ponythroat." He's a voraphile artist who has been in the community for many years now. I believe "Tsistra360" is the same artist but for non-voraphilic SFW images. He's a pretty good artist

Pic 1 so moving, the cold absence contrasted with the unending warmth in Fluttershy. Nice. Symbolised well by the colour contrasts too.

The styles are pretty much one and the same on both ponythroat and tsistra. Especially visible on the pieces of the second account depicting ponies with open mouths - exact same way of drawing tongues. I'd say it's beyond any doubt they're the same.

I think the greats of today have been pushed into obscurity because they either depict too much reality, or too much hope.

The optics of fear don't work if the media gives you hope. Watch the front page of imgur sometime, and see how many people like Owlturd comics, or relate to depression, or that enjoy looking at "cringe" dumps that make them feel better about themselves.

In this environment, great artists die.

I'd suggest also that we live in the age of the instant photograph in 4K-HD, as many as you want, in everyone's pocket. See an amazing sunset? You've got it forever, easy as that. Why take the hours and angst to make a painting when you get nature's perfection, right there? The talent has to find another outlet.

Art is passion, and if horsefuckers are anything, they are passionate.

I think modern art was about contorting the watcher away from being natural and normal. I think the evils within the power structure trashed all sorts of art forms.
It's a gateway drug to corrupt the society in emotions and thoughts. And a perverse challenge to take that on and not struggle against it.

I hope the MLP:FiM show is given its due in the future for its subtle but powerful call to change direction to something better.
