>>49129why the fuck not? let's make things even harder for the normies to put in the history books!
Do it.
Prior to this election, the Republicans had an image problem. They weren't cool at all.
Now we might have a reality TV star as president and a rock star in the Senate.
>>49129Media celebrities dont make for good politicians. Singers in particular. From what I remember This guy was a Bush cuck. Unless he makes a good impression on his platform with some reasonable talking points, I would not support him.
Note: Trump is not a celebrity, he's a businessman I see no problems with this strategy continuing on forever... nope, none at all.
This is the ultimate in democracy. The nature of the people on average reflected directly in their government.
>>49145Party pooper.
Anyway I still argue we should support him for the following reasons:
1. left-wing butthurt; the left is pinning most of their hopes at this point on the 2018 Senate elections. Losing a seat in Michigan, a blue state, would be a blow to them; losing that seat to someone like Kid Rock, in an election that is supposed to be part of the salve for their buttwounds about losing the presidency to Donald Trump, would be a hard kick to the balls.
2. It's the Senate. It's not a governorship or the presidency where he's going to be expected to make important executive decisions. In practical terms all we really need him to be is another reliable Republican vote. Worst case scenario he ends up being a mediocre Senator, no big deal; it's Michigan for fuck's sake, that whole state is probably fucked at this point no matter what anyone does. Best case scenario he could surprise us and do really well. It's the definition of a win-win.
3. It's funny. That's generally reason enough to do anything.
