My assumption is that he feels guilty for his actions in the war. To absolve himself of his guilt he has decided to make human differences obsolete. This means all islands of difference must be "enriched" by immigration. Israel's uniqueness needs to be removed just like any other.
Since making everyone the same means reaching the highest common level, advanced countries need to be lowered to unadvanced countries.
I don't think this logic holds up, but he is driven by guilt, not logic.

Israel has achieved something almost no other Western nation has achieved in the modern era. It has established a nation dominated by one culture, one religion, and one ethnicity and a set of policies that preserve its distinct national culture. I just think he may have gotten into that liberal, globalist, cosmopolitan crap because of that tribal guilt haunting him in his early days. Most people who lead political movements had at least some point in their lives, no matter how brief, where they at least believed in something.
