all posts by three IPs have been deleted, all credentials by this mod have been revoked, however you all deserve to know everything so here it is
when the first donations came in I received roughly $120 to pay for the website, I put it in a savings account and paid for the site.
when the patreon got shoahed I forgot which account I had put it in and mistakenly believed that i had spent the money on the site, I had a bit of a panic before I checked my other accounts and found some $80 waiting patiently for me. This money was sent back to paypal to avoid further issues
I lied when I said the site had been paid up, we had the money but I felt that if we paid it up right away then we risk having the site pulled out from under us, to reassure you all I simply said it was paid anyway. For that I'm sorry
recently I was dumped, and left to my own thoughts I began talking about it in staff discord, apparently this, and other lax behaviors about how discussions were held resulted in one staff member, who we know as invisi or runit, decided to confront me. after a long talk about how the website is owned by me and I have no intention of turning it into a strict no fun zone because I needed to take it seriously, though I did understand my depressed rantings were unwelcome, invisi quit and proceeded to delete all posts by certain IPs, I revoked their credentials at this time.
I payed for an LLC btw, so that I could do certain legal things with the website that otherwise might be legally dubious, such as getting donations and moving the server out of country, things I wasn't sure about legally and didn't want to take chances, I have plans for the future that involve us making media together for redpilling, from t-shirts to video-games.
The money for the website is currently in the hundreds, all donated by you and all in the paypal exclusively for the furtherance of the website, pic related.
the reason behind my doing things you might find distasteful is simple; this website is mine, but mlpol isn't. This whole thing was never about me, though I wanted a fun place to hang out I didn't want to be it's boss. as such I hired many people with conflicting interests and ideals from all backgrounds I did this so that everyone would be represented, the freetards wouldn't drive away the natsocs, the natsocs wouldn't ban the freetards, etc. I wanted everyone to enjoy ponies and politics the way they saw fit, and I still do. I'm not your boss, I reserve my executive privilege to do stuff so that when my staff demands I do stuff one way that might drive half of you away, I can say no to them.
other than that however I am almost entirely aloof, I don't want my staff afraid to challenge me. I spend most of my time coming into chat, asking what's going on, listening to the ideas and changes they propose, and then I make decisions, or often leave it up to the team. We talk in the staff about random stuff sometimes, interpersonal things, perhaps we don't take things very seriously. But then again 4chan staff took everything seriously, and look where that got us.
So I lay myself open and bare for you right here and now, the website is secured once again, though some threads were lost. I want you all to know that I care about this community and want nothing more than to know I can come back every day and see you all.
also for anyone wondering, the parent company is [REDACTED] technology, LLC I'm gonna set up a website soon and try to get funding by offering services through hat, then the business can support the website and we can be comfy forever
>>41787 you are one of the most honest and responsible individuals in a position of authority I have ever had the pleasure to know, and you're only making us here happy. keep doing the good things, and I'm pretty sure at least a good 2 thirds of us are here whenever you need us. keep on doing god's work.
>>41814 Far more stupid shit goes on than you will ever know. You would simply have to be there.
One of the primary reasons it happened, though, is because of the lying about donations. He's not in this for mlpol, he's in this for profit, and talked about his plans to live a "comfy life" off of profits here. Of course, he'll never show you actual logs.
Due to a mismanagement of money, the site almost died. See the above text about him lying about the 3-month notice.
The reason he did not have the money is because he filed for an LLC using DONATION MONEY that was intended for SERVER UPTIME. Not LLCs. He never asked the community about the LLC, he never informed anyone about the LLC until the point that I exposed him ages ago. Do not fall for this kike's lies and use literally any other /mlpol/ board or just use Discord.
If you are the roque mod, i do indeed have some questions:
1. Why did you do it/ why have you continued to do so? 2. Who's at fault? 3. what board you from? 4. whats your political ideology 5. Whats your stance on the state of the moderation of the site? 6. whos best pony
>>41818 >1 See above message >2 Atlas, other moderators who KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE CULTURE OF THIS WEBSITE, and the cronyism that goes into hiring moderators. >3 /tech/ (8chan) >4 Libertarian >5 The site itself is good. The people that run it and are making choices for it are not good. Things may seem okay now, but things continue to deteriorate behind the scenes. >6 Fluttershy
I should also add that I am an ex-sysop and I had full access to the server. I could have done far worse than what I did, but out of general respect for this community I decided not to erase every post. I decided to erase my own posts, as I do not want my contributions to exist here anymore and I nuked 2 other people's posts to demonstrate security flaws that I had discussed in the staff chat at an earlier date; I knew this would have little effect, because the other SysOP has backups dated at yesterday.
>>41820 Ur proof of the logs? Or was it one of those you didnt save anything, etc? >Nuked 2 others to make a point >That power will be abused by those with a point to make
>>41820 I personally thank you for your reasons, it is important to communicate esp when emotions are running high. Honestly, you sound like a technical person that does well, and I think this place could benefit from your presence if you tried to reason with others harder, calmly.
>>41817 >Instead of addressing these concerns like an adult I decided to cause trouble for a guy who was already having a rough time and call him a kike over a couple hundred dollars
Your just a self-righteous cunt that wants attention.
>>41826 Legitimate response: I actually take the website and the users on it seriously, and not as a plaything. You saying "it's just a couple hundred dollars" means nothing at all. It's dishonesty in one of its worst forms.
>>41817 >any other /mlpol/ board This is /mlpol/ though, this is home. >discord Thats not a board, thats an ebin secret club and mods can act like faggots there.
>>41825 From what I just read he was hoping to prevent any issues. The fact of how he did it without informing us I can look pass do to his reasoning tbh
>>41829 Use whatever board you feel comfortable using. I cannot make people use other boards. If you consider this to be your "home", than so be it. I can only advise for you to be weary of who you trust here, especially in staff. Know that some of the staff here are not very experienced with the culture of this place, literally to the point of "only using /pol/ for a week". This person is now an administrator. Taking my place.
>>41830 The issue was that he could not afford to pay for the upcoming server bill due to misplaced money.
>>41831 I will go back to /tech/, or work on building other communities.
>>41833 He spent money on an LLC without alerting anyone. The LLC was not needed.
>>41834 No. His first experience on 4chan at all was nu-/pol/.
>>41835 Wasting money without telling anyone or talking to anyone is an attempt at "stabilization". If anything it was a reckless attempt that made this place almost die.
>>41787 >>41812 >>41817 >>41832 >tfw you eat half a loaf of bread to soak up the whiskey because this shit shounds important So waitd, wtf is going on? I need a quick rundown: Explain it to me like I'm retarded.
>>41837 I'm not Lotus. The problem is you'd have a much more compelling story if he blew it on hookers or something like Hotwheels. That's how your acting right now regardless and it's completely disproportionate to what actually happened.
I paid for the LLC with my own money, later when I went to pay for the site after the patreon got shoah'd I thought I had used the funds from the site donations and panicked, I spent several hours trying to figure out how to keep the site up before realizing it was in a different account
at the time I had three accounts, one for my job, a personal account, and an account with my fiance, I had the money sent to my personal account and paid for the llc off my pay card from my job, thinking I had paid for it with the other money I panicked
I however found the money still in my personal account, having forgotten where it was, I found it within hours and thus never made a post about it because the donation money was still there, that money has now been spent to pay for the website.
I love how you are not posting the chat logs where I said "oh thank god I found it, it was in a different account lol"
>>41840 The admin most likely wants nothing to do with me.
In any case, under the new administration, it's very likely things here will slowly change.
Here's some fun facts about this "Lotus" guy:
1. Said he wanted the site to be a "breitbart with ponies" 2. Expressed his dissatisfaction with the racism on the website 3. Was fired, brought back as a joke, but due to muh feelings he was brought back.
The reason he was fired? Because he was shilling on site features / polls. You remember the big 'ol "Should we spoiler gay porn?" debate? He acted as though he was an anonymous user. He did this on several occasions, including using his phone to make it seem like it was not him. After doing it so fucking much, and I after me and several other people wanted to get him fired, he was fired. And now look, he's an administrator. Truly Atlas is the worst IB admin in existence.
Oh, and he also used a user's IP address to get their info, and call the police on them because they were suicidal. This was before the IP hashing, though. And why the NiceNotice system was developed.
>>41844 Keep on lying. It's really making your case look well, friend.
>>41852 Pardon me, but while I appreciate the apparent efforts the mods/admins have made toward transparency, I'm under no illusion that I'm 'owed' any explanations or reports. Again I reiterate (expressly this time), I see no harm.
>>41837 >>41847 The stuff that has been messed up have me worried as well. I still think this place would have been better without you jumping ship but I understand why you would be wary especially if your an 8/pol/ fag. I'll give Atlas another few passes though but I'm disappointed he mismanaged the things he has.
>>41854 I'm guessing he was looking for some kind of insight into the issues you have, because he didn't see what you presented as anything too egregious. Faggot.
>>41857 It's not the LLC that is bad. It's the lack of communication about where money is going, especially when you have made it clear where that money is supposed to be going.
>>41847 Keep on making claims without posting any chatlogs. All you've proven here is that you're an overreacting child with an unwarranted sense of self-importance.
your also an extreme faggot for deleting the lefty salt thread before I could save any of it.
>>41847 I understand where you are coming from, and I can see why your reactions. I guess this is the case we are on a King's turf, and the way to try to change things is to appeal to the King, and hope its a wise king. We are just plebs outside the conversation, and we feel the effects that result. >>41857 I think it was more of not researching, and this community type of stuff really needs a clear head to setup. The rest of us are subjected to the lowest denominator among the governing, so hence, wise king.
>>41858 Well if one wants to get technical, that information is only privy to donorsn and then only at their request. Let me be plain. An LLC sounbds like a damn fine idea to me, especially if Mlpol has any hope of maintaining its 'sovereignty' and/or 'independence'.
>>41847 Are you aware that there are people in this world that have a severe medical condition which causes them to be that way? My mother for instance is one of those people. She is a truck driver that has bad knees and a bad back from driving the truck but you probably do not care about that case either. Oh well I am not one of those people I am 6'4" 245lbs and I exercise every day. I would love to see you say something like to my mother in front of me. Probably never happen though you are probably just an internet tough guy. I doubt very seriously you would say that to someones face. Just my thought. What do you think. Oh I am sorry you probably do not have a brain. I on the other hand will be happy to buy you a plane ticket to come here and see if you have the nerve to say that to someone I know.
>>41861 >Why didn't you just make a post informing us about the donation money going to the LLC Atlas was supposed to, but never did. >Why did you delete posts Not sure really
>>41865 This person is literally a newfag; Does not understand many basic concepts of imageboard culture. Does not understand why anonymity is important, does not hold user privacy in high regard, etc etc. Also holds no sysadmin experience at all, so they're only going to be an administrator in the sense of telling people what to do.
There are two other people who hold sysop skills:
1. fallenPineapple, who is away 2. PupperWoff, who is a developer, but lacks GNU/Linux sysadmin experience.
>>41865 >is this even possible? Yes it is. Chan culture can't be learned overnight and it is very much exclusive. Please I know we need more people to post here but don't make yourself look this new.
>>41787 >>41844 >>41802 Regardless of what you were going through the LLC should have been site news pronto. So should the other stuff have been brought up too, but that is of little concern at the moment. What needs to be known now is /mlpol.net/ the only thing in the LLC umbrella, and who are the members of the LLC? >>41812 >>41817 >>41819 >>41820 >>41825 Instead of spamming the discord or /mlpol.net/ with these leaks and brining it to attention, you did something petty. You brought legitimate concerns up, but did so in such a way that damages your argument.
>>41867 >Not sure really This is the one thing that goes against you, if you had just informed us instead I'm sure we could have done plenty to resolve the problems with some of the mods and admins abusing their powers and could have fixed the transparency issues rather then causing useless drama.
>>41874 I cannot make Lotus go away by telling you about Lotus. It doesn't work that way. His calling of the police was not a protested action.
As for lack of transparency in the LLC, that's one of many, many things that led me to this decision.
Whether or not you agree with my decision is up to you. I am confident in the steps that I took. You can consider it attention whoring, I really don't care. I released the information in what I think was the most effective way possible.
they can pick up imageboard culture just by being here and lurking, it takes time. I wouldn't mind if they studied up on sysop stuff but that also takes a while and you could've stayed on to help teach and explain stuff to them, but instead you're doing this…
>>41812 So, wait.. Are you the faggot who deleted the thread where I posted 60 pics wotrth of salt..? If so, fuck you! I am way too drunk for this bulldhit!
And with this, I leave. I again implore you all to consider alternative communities or to create your own. Also, look into NNTPchan, because it truly is the future and will prevent drama like this from happening due to its decentralized nature.
>>41884 some yes, I was thinking about hosting other websites, making money off them and using that money to keep mlpol alive without the need for donations
>>41881 >I am confident in the steps that I took. You can consider it attention whoring, I really don't care. I released the information in what I think was the most effective way possible.
can you explain your reasoning a bit more? what's so effective about being a troublemaker? it didn't even communicate the information, that's why you're here explaining it to us
>>41887 it would be mostly websites paid for by people like businesses and no, they would have no knowledge of mlpol unless they purchased the site through me on here
mlpol would not ever be beholden to outside influences
you can't "teach" them the culture they just need to lurk and be around it for a year or two, you could've tried to teach them about sysop tho but again most of that you'd just have to encourage them to learn on their own, but instead you gave up.
>>41875 If that's the case the only thing you, in my opinion, you did wrong is lack of transparency with money. The LLC or corporation would have been the first thing I’d of done honestly. It provides a lot of financial protections, and a handful of legal protections I don’t remember. It would have been better if you paid with your own money, but considering you are probably making little, to basically nothing off this site it is grudgingly excusable. The financial mix up? Not having actually paid but saying you did is the worst bit. It’s bad, but not the worst thing in the world.
All things considered, I am willing to forgive you, and so are others, I think. You need to keep us informed, however. We are not shareholders, but we are stakeholders. What actions you take, affect us all.
Here's the thing that invisi hasn't mentioned every time the question about what we should do with the website, such as prohibiting certain things, comes up, lotus knows exactly what the mlpol community as a whole wants, I don't know how, I don't know why, but it's true
I hired him after the first major raid when all the posts were deleted, he was someone that went through the old archives and remade a lot of threads because he cared
so he's not a bad mod, hell most of the other mods don't dislike him, he's just new to the chan culture, but he understands the mlpol culture of friendship is magic and he does believe in the strength of the nation
do you have any other plans in opacity you'd like to clear up while you have the chance? also could you give a brief rundown of your experience with imageboards and sysop to add context to what the other game is saying about you? just curious, it's fine if you're a newfag or whatever you just need to lurk moar in that case
>>41900 IKR? I', fucking pissed (and drunk)! I deleted it from my folder thinking it was going to stay on the thread. Fuck this niggerfaggot! This is not the way to draw attention to an issue.
>>41901 I have been a lurker on 4chan since about 09 but I've never been much for absorbing culture as my posts always come off as new faggy
as for plans I'm making a videogame with ponies in it and we're gonna sell stickers but for the most part I'm not a planning sort of guy, I think of lots of ideas but many of them never come to fruition so don't mistake my having an idea i don't tell you about with not being transparent, I have tons of ideas to the point that posting and talking about them would turn this place into a blog, and this website isn't about me
>>41847 The "Brietbart with Ponies" statement was a joke. I like my Nazi pony board. I explained to you that it was a joke.
I don't want to ban racism. I don't give a shit if people are white nationalist or racist or whatever. Who gives a shit if people say "nigger" except leftists?
You were present with the suicidal poster and when I called. We had a two hour long discussion. At no point did you say it was inadvisable. The only reason I was the one who called, and not you, was because I had the courage to do so.
You voted for Bernie sanders and said you would never have Trump as your avatar because of your disagreements with him.
You have unironically suggested banning banning ponies from certain boards, and then kept to it when asked.
You have said that national social is essentially communism, and that you cannot understand any form of right wing collectivism, or even social conservatism
You were the one who insisted on the rule spoilering gay porn. I was the one who argued with you enough to bring the issue to a vote. And the users voted with me. They agreed with me. That "shilling" comment, had ten or so replies agreeing with it and none disagreeing.
I also moved for the site to not be removed from google. And the users agreed with me.
>>41787 Understandable, have a nice day In all serious though, Atlas thank you frr being very transparent about this issue. That shows me you care about this fun little community we have here.
>>41916 you really need someone from the far side though, esp with things are going now, and to just put enough weight on the seesaw to balance things out. The problem is, you are the seesaw.
>>41916 > I've never been much for absorbing culture as my posts always come off as new faggy
I mean what did you do while lurking? which boards did you frequent? for example people lurk on /pol/ but never really go through the redpill threads, they never watch the greatest story never told, and they never read books other anons suggest etc. so they never really properly integrate > I'm making a videogame with ponies in it and we're gonna sell stickers
>>41924 I know.. I'm just salty because I put a good deal of effort into providing content for the board and didn't get to fully read all of them myself either…
>>41923 oh I started on /b/ because I heard about it from a chatroom somewhere then I moved to /a/ because I was a fucking weeb, and when I got into serial experiments lain I started frequenting /g/
one day I heard people on /pol/ were racist and went there to make fun of them and shitpost
I read some of the arguments I forgot to go back then on the first I decided to make an archive for mlpol, I bought the domain mlpol.net and before I had it set up they shoahed the board, so I downloaded tinyboard and posted on mlp then we're here and it's now and then I don't know what happened
>>41940 oh I've watched everything, I started watching them non stop after mlpol started to the point that I was watching them on my phone while driving and got into an accident an that's why I no longer drive cab
>>41917 Just to let you know I voted for gay ponies to be spoilered and I have always wanted this board to be invisible including on google. I disagree with your argument "that everyone agrees with me and so I am right." Atlas was right to have both of your perspectives and to put things up to a vote when you both disagreed. I personally think that you should have refrained from arguing your case in the thread so you could let us figure it out. Still at least you didn't splurge out and delete threads unlike someone else.
>>41847 If true about the calling police on suicidal guy then >>41917 are a a Big dumb guy for that(sorry for rude). Also fix that the spacing it hurts my eyes.
ATTENTION ALL FIGNEWTONS AND NORMANS! PLEASE LEAVE YOUR BURKAS AT THE DOOR AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK. THIS IS NICE PLACE AND NO NEED FOR LAME POSTS
>>41956 >>41958 I guess I'll play devils advocate, maybe he left and did not talk about the issues he had because he felt as if his say didn't matter anymore. He was worried that both of you didn't understand chan culture and so weren't invested in the board but rather in what you got out of the board. The easy conclusion for someone who's been on the honey pot that is 8/pol/ is that your a bunch of shills trying to squeeze shackles out of the good goys. At least that's what I can see him thinking after the seeing his actions and how he presented his case.
>>41935 >one day I heard people on /pol/ were racist and went there to make fun of them and shitpost >I read some of the arguments >I forgot to go back Been there; done that.
>>41970 If people have been around long enough, 8ch is the place where some anons went and build after 4chan was soldout, and was under attack frequently. So from there would be of certain temperament.
>>41970 here's the thing, he has legitamate complaints, several of which have been addressed after he left, not by him but by staff who stayed and told me I've been an ass and I need to fix it, he only approached me about this today and I was already being swayed by his arguments when he quit. It's not that he's wrong, it's that he put the community at risk that annoys me.
>>41978 just don't be too hard on yourself. And if you ever want to shitpost about your feelings you can always do it here too. I do it a lot myself. (<3)
>>41787 Thank you for your honesty, Atlas. It is definitely refreshing to know that even though you did do wrong, you at least had the decency to speak up about it. You didn't just hide and let it fester on and on until it poisoned the site.
>>41812 >>41819 >>41886 >>41881 And as for you. Your behavior was incredibly childish and petulant. Sure you had a genuine issue, and several good points, but acting like a whiny child and throwing a tantrum when you do not get your way is -not- the way to go about things. Had you been more reasonable and less toxic in your behavior maybe more people would be able to understand your view on the situation. But as you are now, you are just acting like a full blown attention hog. You also deleted the salt thread filled with such glorious salt and despair, so screw you.
>>42029 >>42030 >this, literally unkillable >this site will never die
>>41817 >Due to a mismanagement of money, the site almost died. See the above text about him lying about the 3-month notice.
>>41844 >later when I went to pay for the site after the patreon got shoah'd I thought I had used the funds from the site donations and panicked, I spent several hours trying to figure out how to keep the site up before realizing it was in a different account
>>42033 can this guy be banned again, if he isn't just a LARPing shitposter? (he's just a poor friendless faggot who gets lonely sometimes, leave him be)
>>42037 I remember the exact moment I became fine with crotchboobs. In the fall of 2014 i was looking at an e621 picture of a wonderful mare named Blitzstar, which had both the crotchboob and boobless versions. I looked at the comments of the crotchboob version and a couple commenters said things like "crotchboobs? gross" far more commenters said to these "what is wrong with you? Crotchboobs are natural." And so from that night on I appreciated the natural
Gotta go catch the train to eat dinner with friends, so i'll allow you horsefuckers to go back to discussing your website drama and gushing to your admin.
>>42042 >Gotta go catch the train >eat dinner with friends
lol no, you're going to sit here obsessively hitting f5 every ten seconds to see if anyone replied until the two-liter of mountain dew you're sucking on is empty. Then, you're going to stand up, urinate into the bottle, sit back down, maybe take a moment to yell at your mom to bring you down some Chef Boyardee spaghetti and meatballs, and then hit f5 again to see if anyone replied while you were away.
>>41902 So everyone had their own idea of what was right but the implementation was ill conceived. Sounds like growing pains.
I think what we need to know is what solutions/fixes are in place to stop this happening again?
Also who exactly paid for the LLC is the end? And has Atlas committed to never lying, by word or omission, to the community again?
Underneath all of this seems to be Atlas' overwhelming concern about the site's financial future. Perhaps you should share this concern more with the community and make it a community effort to solve? Perhaps carrying the burden alone is unbalancing you emotionally which affects judgement?
How about a mlpol.net finances thread in /qa/ and all ins and outs are noted, lets say, weekly? Even when no transactions so we see the openness is still happening. How about strict mlpol.net account and no transfers touching your private accounts? How about in the same /qa/ finances thread, or another, you have a weekly "fireside chat" thread about your thoughts, plans, ideas, concerns, etc. Many brains are better than one. The Admin/Moderator, isolated from our community, communications leads to a disconnect from the community where problems can fester unseen by the community. Perhaps these Admin/Moderator chats should be accessible by the community or even moved to a administration board here on mlpol.net. Community oversight might remove a large amount of future conflicts as issues would be openly discussed much earlier. Perhaps even this could be expanded to a voting system to remove/promote staff. Democracy by the community.
>>42027 >i wanted to see if this place was dead finally or attacking new targets. Are you still salty about the week after April first? Go home. We've all but forgotten about you.
>>42058 I would venture to guess that it is due to lurking faggots that we DON'T have a more open thread/discussion about this topic. In fact, if not for said faggots, we wouldn't b having this conversation.
>>42063 Eeek! Um… I don't know. I've already requested and received several 40k shops, which were all AMAZING by the way, especially the battle against reddit. If that's the way you want to go, I love Luna and Rainbow Dash. Maybe a set of ICE pony reactions pictures. Or a drawing of ICE pony drinking coffee, like that human-rainbow dash picture that circulates around. Which ever you like
>>42092 The short run down is we are all faggits, ponymoot did something for the good but it almost ended in a bad way, the site is payed for and LLC, the one who abused his power needs a break, since he is an 8chinner and we all know them and their history >most of us I think Problem is solved, someone blew something out of portion
- a former mod from 8chan deleted threads of another mod (Lotus) - the former mod claims he did it to expose security leaks on the website - Atlas lost money when patreon banned him (about ~80 Dollars) - Atlas lied about the server mlpol server being paid for (for a brief period) - The server itself is currently adequately paid for - Atlas was somewhat of a 4chan newfag and only experienced /pol/ during the Trump pre-election era - There are ongoing arguments in the administration about how mlpol should be moderated - Some Mods seemingly have little 4chan experience - Atlas bougth software for the server that is argueably not required - The current overall site security is in a poor state - the head moderator -now administrator- Lotus is disliked by other staff, was briefly fired - Lotus finds racism distateful and advocates for homosexual pornography - The funding management was not transparent
I said that before and I say again that I'd like to believe that MLPOL is a self governing body. It is the users business to decide what they want to discuss and what they want to post on the site, nobody elses. The Admins and the mods are by extension supposed to be represents of the will of site users, nothing more, nothing less.
There is no need in pushing a policy, We, the Anons, can do that by ourselves.
For the sake of solving most of these current problems, I propose that Alas hires a competent System Administrator or picks one from the current staff to take care of the technical needs of the site, under supervision hopefully to prevent any attempts at sabotage.
Secondly I recommend that Atlas elects 2 represents from the Anons as commissary advisors. 2 users with a long track record for /pol/ and /mlp/, to judge and execute an order within the mod staff that would be in line with the heritage of our old homeboards. These Anons should not be mods, but intermediates between the users and the anons, and to keep an eye on the doings of the mod staff.
MLPOL.net was bound to have a situation like this, it was inevitable. And there will be more. And frankly, this is good. Because the average user gets to take a look behind the curtains. I was one of the first users on this site asking for a FAQ at the time the infamous "Your a dick" post was made and I want to say, it is both remarkable and pleasant to what the site has grown in such little time with minimal support and funds. For that I thank You. The We as a community and You, as the Administration.
Doing a good job does however not mean that it is now time to slack off, there is always space for improvement.
>>42127 So far we are hitting every bump I thought would come up tbh. Its all been handled well, though good deeds can lead to some hiccups. I like the idea of the two Anons whom can voice for us, even though we can be well heard here. It would give guidance to the newer admin/mods on how/why we act or do something. >We are getting our own W.T.Ponies
>>42127 >>42131 Honestly, I think one of the only ways is to have a "Wise King," and the rest of us share in his glow. Democracy is a cheap way to throw around responsibility if the purpose is to keep a standing structure. There is not much room for bickering on that front, unless the bickering is over a pile of ruins.
Guy (or gril) has to be sharp, and able to adapt systems of management and development of infrastructure for the future if the time comes.
>>42135 Yeah, when more Anons flow in, and stuff gets put to vote things will shift, like they have on all site. Having a rooted Elder in place would help keep us Strongk, community wise and give a plus to Admins and Mods that they know WE know that they have translators if they don't get something from time to time
>>42127 I am not head moderator and there is no administrator besides Atlas. I was Head Moderator and Administrator for a nine hour period from May 7-8, but after that the position of Head Moderator was abolished and the staff reorganized sort of democratically, with bans besides for raiders, and thread deletions, requiring discussion and the approval of two or more moderators. We had no other Administrators besides Head of Development until June 3, when Atlas appointed the rogue mod, Invisi, to Deputy Administrator. This is not a position of authority, it is a position intended to be merely of power to do Administrative functions while Atlas is away. In the time since then, we have had a change in Head Developers. On Sunday, June 25, Invisi indicated that he would be away for a few days and could not fulfill his duties on the website. Atlas then made me deputy administrator, and changed Invisi's account to moderator. There was zero intent that I be administrator indefinitely. The plan was to, after a week, split up administrative functions among the staff so as to force cooperation between moderators on getting projects done. in the time since this incident, Atlas has removed all administrators besides himself from their positions, including Head Developer.
On a personal note, I do not give a shit about racism. Nigger Chink Spook Beaner Spic Sand Monkey Gook Jap Nip Abbo Jiggaboo Porch Monkey Coon Wetback and gas the Kikes.
Ahaha look at this badass. I enjoyed a nice view at Yokohama tonight with some pals. Do something about it, keyboard warrior. (USER WAS PLUGGED FROM BOTH ENDS)
>>42239 Only deletions in the thread are "user deleted his own post." He's also using a single arrow to make the post number green, to make it look like the cited post is deleted when it isn't
>>42127 Hmmm about that security issue, I could ask one of the 4pol /sg/ dudes, he is along with programming and all weird web stuff. Dunno tho if he will say yes. Gonna try anyways.
>>42240 >Only deletions in the thread are "user deleted his own post." He's also using a single arrow to make the post number green, to make it look like the cited post is deleted when it isn't
On each raid I and Invisi took part of, I found Invisi to be discruptive. Several times, he started an push to initiate raid before we were completely prepared.
>>42127 >Commissary advisors Not this. Appointing specific participants to give opinions diminishes the value of input of the greater mass of participants. If anything ideas should ONLY be considered/rejected on their MERIT, which will come out in 'the wash'.
You guys realize this GR15 guy is a farce that's only here to instigate to try and get help for spamming /qa/, yes? He even makes pony threads on /qa/ for the purpose of trying to create an epic e-war. Ignore him.
