Why are there so many fags and dykes in the brony community?

Probably adjacency to the furry fandom, and also typical 4chan faggotry that snowballed into something bigger.

I think that for such a huegly male-dominated fandom there are a lot less fags than you would expect to find given that it's largely about wanting to have sex with things that are non-human. There's still a lot of fags, don't get me wrong, but as far as communities of sexually desperate bachelors go, I think that the the MLP fandom at worst only has as much gay as average in such a situation.
Of course it is kind of a freak/fringe fandom, so it shouldn't be shocking to find freak/fringe people.
