I find them even stupider than regular shitcoins.
Shitcoins are shit, political shitcoins are even worse. everyone is sick of crypto and crypto bros
>>371448$maga has already given trump millions
>>371449That brings him ~2% closer to how much money he has to find in the next three weeks to pay his fines.
I don't know enough about crypto to have a strong opinion, but I think giving a shit about politics, especially at the national level, is retarded right now.
>>371448Nothing wrong with making a little money. Bitcoin is in the early stages of a bullrun which usually means an altcoin pump, which in turn usually means that a lot of worthless shitcoins go up for no reason beyond people throwing money into anything and everything. If you get in early enough on the right coins you can generally do pretty well during these periods. That plus it's also an election year. My guess is MAGA and probably any other Trump-related shitcoin will start pumping hard the closer we get to November, so it might be worth throwing a little spare change into.
another crypto pump and dump
>>371470yep, pretty much exactly that.
>>371472if you pay attention you'll notice that every time people start pushing a pump and dump shit coin that it will be showing huge gains to try and lure you in and give you FOMO so you sink a bunch of money in it right before the dump. and it's on the Ethereum chain so it probably costs like $100 in transaction fees to buy $25 worth of it LOL crypto was supposed to be a cheap way to send money between people but when I look it always seems like it costs like $18 to send $5. I have some Bitcoin and Ethereum stuck in an old wallet because it costs more in transaction fees to send it than what it's actually worth
>>371481>if you pay attention you'll notice that every time people start pushing a pump and dump shit coin that it will be showing huge gains to try and lure you in and give you FOMO so you sink a bunch of money in it right before the dumpYes, that's the basic idea of how it works. That's why you don't sink money into it when it's already too high to make any decent gains, and why you want to sell at around the time everyone else starts FOMOing, because odds are good it will drop soon. It's also why you don't bet money you can't afford to lose. For instance, it might be too late for MAGA since it's already at like 5 bucks, but I suspect it might plausibly pump up to around $20 or $30 before November, so there's still some meat left on the bone. The Tucker one is iffy, but since it's only at some insignificant fraction of a penny, it's probably worth throwing a hundred bucks or so at it. Best case scenario it takes off and you make serious bank, worst case scenario you're out a hundred bucks. I've gotten burned off of shitcoins, I've made money off of shitcoins; it's just a combination of luck and semi-educated guesswork.
>>371528and that's the problem, by the time you even hear about it it's too late to buy in. once it surfaces and they start pumping it then it's too late to put money in without getting caught in the dump. and it's especially more dangerous with shit coins because the founders can cash out and it will go to zero in a second when everyone get's rug pulled
