>>369521i know people living in Patagonia Argentina, couples , friends of mine, for example she is from Austria and his fiancee from France, they inherited a couple of apartments in Europe and they get rent for them, around 2500 Euros or 2800 dollars more or less.
you can buy a land for 70000 us$ and build a 3 bedroom home and garage for 50000 us$
or you can buy a already built apartment in a building in a city for 90000 US$
this couple as many others dont work, they just live from renting the houses or apartments their granparents left in europe.
i installed solar panels for some of them and helped them with spanish and to buy stuff. Many people like to buy in the moutains and they have lots of expensive stuff. Others more older ones like USA boomers have winter log homes and or near lake homes with yatch and 4x4 in the garage and some other less expensive car as daily.
this is not only in mountain areas with beautyful landscapes but also in more northen areas where many buy ranches for horses or to have soy plantations to export. lots of old european communities too and they have their own festivals . this is spread all the country
most cities are around 150 to 200k habitants.
some bigger capitals of the provinces can have around 500000 but is not common
just imagine is the 8th biggest country in land extension and only has 45 millon habitants. most land is big ranches with thousands of cows or sheep in the south and central.
the climate distribution is like usa but mirrored to the southern hemisphere
southermost province is well known internationally for their wild king salmon and big trouts. fishermen from New Zealand come here all the time. my father used to guide people to fishing spots, those places are like Alaska.
then to the far north east there is the Iguazú falls, that are like your Niagara for the usa people
to the northwest is the desert areas similar to death valley
then in the middle west you have Bariloche where the nazis went to have their own homes. a very well known place.
in the center of Argentina you have the plain lands where there is only cows, corn, and weat and all of that plantations crop fields as far as the eye can see, with looong straight routes that invite you to go full throttle for hours (no speed cameras in many of them lol) also not only the landscape but also the internal roads very similar to south dakota country roads or the grat plains of Kansas
