>>367677>Same operates in the opposite direction. No, it doesn't. You're the one staking out absurd positions that defy both reason and the bulk of accumulated human knowledge, so the burden of proof is on you.
You see, in order to prove that the earth is not round, you would have to not only discredit the mountains of evidence suggesting that it is, you would need to satisfactorily explain how and why so many people, working independently of each other in so many different eras and scientific disciplines, managed to all draw the same erroneous conclusion. If your argument is that all of this data was somehow manipulated or fabricated as an act of willful deception, you would need to satisfactorily explain how and why anyone would ever want to do something like that.
However, if I want to prove that the earth is round, I don't need to do any of that. Copernicus and Magellan and Neil Armstrong and all the rest of those guys already did that as far as I'm concerned, and so far I've been given no serious reason to doubt them. This is why I'm a huge fan of Ockham's Razor.
Most people don't have ability to independently verify things like whether or not viruses exist, or if the earth is round or flat. This is why people tend to defer to "experts" on questions that can't be directly verified. Unfortunately, "experts" are fallible humans: sometimes they make mistakes, and sometimes they outright lie, either for personal gain or because they are being pressured or both. So, while they generally know what they're talking about, it's still wise to be skeptical and to not take everything they say at face value.
However, like I said before, there's a huge difference between being skeptical and being contrarian for the mere sake of being contrarian. Doubting the efficacy of the COVID vaccine because it hasn't been tested is a reasonable position to take. Doubting the validity of the entire field of virology because of a YouTube video made by a lone schizo is not.
Based on what I've seen, I think your particular brand of contrarianism stems mostly from a desire either for attention or a sense of superiority, and has absolutely nothing to do with finding truth. It's evident in the posts of yours that I quoted earlier:
>Only if you are a normalfag>your mindset is so plain and normie>like the redpill never sunk deep enough in youYou like to toss around words like "normie" and "redpill" because you think it sets you apart from the herd. Everything we see is deception, but there is a secret realm of hidden knowledge out there that only you and a select few other online schizos are privy to. The "normies" are too dumb to see through the mass deception, but you're "redpilled" and you know better. The much simpler, much more obvious explanation, that you are just a gullible retard amplifying obvious nonsense that was shat into the cesspool of the internet by other gullible retards, never occurs to you.
