Rocklin CA
Come get me, feds
>>364593I know a coin shop near there
>>364595neat, what's it called? I might decide to check it out if I have nothing better to do
>>364596Rocklin coin shop. its run by a lolcow named matthew vickers. he'll tell you how his claim to fame was his daughter staring in a sextape.
I'm in tyler tx. Would any anons like to discuss mares and genocide over tendies? My court appointed therapist (dumb bitch) tells me I need to be more sociable and to stop carrying my fleshlight (twilight sparkle) everywhere with me.
>>364602Maybe. Not that far away
>>364609It's handy in case of a fleshlight emergency
>>364602I have so many questions. Like do you bring lube around too? Do you use it in the restrooms? How would you get away with that? Do you carry around a backpack/briefcase everywhere you go? Is this relevant to your court appointed lawyer? Did you get caught jacking off in a public restroom??
>>364611Based questions need to be answered
>>364611therapist, not lawyer. You know what I meant, just a common phrase.
>>364614Therapist Lawyer, same thing really
>>364611>you bring lube around too? No, she's entirely for emotional support. Sometimes when I find myself in a frustrating situation, it helps me makes sense of things by going outside and giving my fleshlight (twilight sparkle) an affirmative squeeze. Plus, the lube would probably get tacky after sitting in my truck. I'd spit in it, but it smells
really bad when I do and it's just gross. Not that it matters since don't really use it anyway.
My therapist (dumb bitch) says it's unhealthy and has to stop, but she can't just go out and take it from me. Hope she doesn't tell my probation officer. Not a sex offender btw just cripplingly autistic.
>you carry around a backpack/briefcase everywhere you go? I usually leave it in my glovebox if it's not too hot. Last winter I would smuggle it in my coat pockets. I thought it would be useful if I ever went to the movies or whatever and wanted to sneak outside food in. Twilight can hold approximately two pounds of m&ms or almost two fully cooked hotdogs with buns (slut), which is convenient. No one's going to confront a man eating peanut m&ms out of an anatomically correct fleshlight (twilight sparkle).
>Did you get caught jacking off in a public restroom??I was convicted for possession. Had an oz and a half of weed taped to the rim of my spare tire. Fucking k-9 units are a bitch. How it smelled the weed inside the tire is beyond me. Should've been air tight.
>>364609Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
So, uh, what's the community's general opinion of this? The first time I saw one of these online, it seemed like an obvious security risk, and I was already connected with a couple of active local meetup groups. I just stopped seeing/noticing these threads for years.
I don't have much going on in the way of "socializing with new people who share the interest of MLP, specifically" going on. It also might be interesting to have a Pol-related conversation or two knowing that the person I'm talking with is familiar with at least some of the main bodies of work and writer references.
How much of a security risk do you think this really is? I haven't actually mapped what social media accounts are tied to which email addresses with email address update, but I imagine it'd be really complicated.
>>364621I continue to have questions to the point I'm out of words to express them.
>>364652I couldn't care less anymore about my security. But with regard to the old threads, yeah, met someone in Temecula years ago. It was shortly before I left Cali for the first time. Feels like a century ago.
>>364652>it seemed like an obvious security risk+1
As long as the money keep flowing, the commies and associated employees will keep their fishing expeditions going.
>>364653It's okay, anon. I made it all up. I was just making of how autistic I imagined the average /mlpol/ user to be.
>>364658What did he say wrong? I don't doubt the autism of the users of this site.
>>364652I think the security risk is overblown. It's not like we frequently talk about dangerous and/or illegal stuff here, and the userbase isn't big enough for feds to give a fuck. Autists who live near eachother might get drinks and have some conversations; nothing big. There haven't been any /pol/ meetups that resulted in anything terrible, so idk why it would be for /mlpol/.
I'm probably not going to participate due to my crushing social anxiety, but anyone else who wants to shouldn't be worried.
>>364661Are you going to elaborate on your concerns? Image board meetups aren't that uncommon, even for /pol/.
>>364665His point is that bad goyim shouldn't meet up.
>>364661This discussion had merit 3 years ago. But there's no way someone could be unaware of the security risks at this point.
I for one couldn't care less about some faggots doxing themselves.
You know it's irrelevant if it isn't site-wide, right? It is, lol. I hop between IP's regularly. Not my fault you can't run a script even tho you are so concerned about everyone's security for some reason.
Politics meetups are so obviously glowing that they're not even worth discussing.
However, aren't purely pony-related meetups just fine? mlpol isn't just for a subculture of a subculture, it's also a symbiosis between distinct subcultures. I know of at least one poster here who in all his work is unengaged with politics.
Genuinely curious what the non-glowing posters above this line think.
>>364679>samefaggingThis is why IDs are useless and only helps IP hoopers.
>ID's are useless because am too old to use the internet
Seethe boomie
>>364686If that belief pleases you...
Heh.
>>364680This site is pretty much inexorably linked to politics. And the smaller user-base only makes you an easier target, not the other way around. It's up to you in the end.
>>364688A more obvious target for what? Feds set up honeypots, but what interest do they have targeting 3-4 autists who haven't even done anything substantial?
>>364689Not the feds, they are the kinetic branch of zog and can get any shitposter under their jurisdiction any time they want.
The concern are hired commie 3rd parties doing scouting and surveys. There are a lot of them and their funding is accelerating. Consider them as professional snitches tagging the population for future processing.
>>364689Antifa types are the only people we would really have to worry about, but I don't think we are much of a target. This place is pretty obscure.
>Consider them as professional snitches tagging the population for future processing.Schizo shit aside. There are many ways in which getting the dox can fuck you over. Physical violence is just one of them.
>>364689Feds are a bit overblown. But like others have pointed out, there's plenty of faggots who would benefit/want to get poners doxed. It happens on short twitter discussions, not much motivation is required.
Like I said, it's up to you.
Also, take this with a grain of salt. But there have been some "scares" that had to be cleared up offsite. Not feds either btw. I still don't even know what it was about, the threads only lasted for a few minutes. >>364691What would the antifa types even probably do?
There's nothing that would happen in an /mlpol/ meetup that wouldn't happen at any other 4chan meetup, and nothing crazy ever actually happens at 4chan meetups.
>>364692People who are concerned for the personal anonymity are right to be concerned, but a person I interested in going to a meetup in the first place would already come to terms with that plausibility.
I don't like all this paranoia; it feels like it's been building up to uncomfortable levels on this site for the past couple years for no real reason.
>>364692>Schizo shit aside.I can say that many of those snitches come from the academic field of social science. The niggers are more than happy to make a buck while reporting to NGOs.
>>364694NGOs who give a fuck could already find us if they wanted.
What are they going to do, Searcy extensively to find that [Anonymous person] has used an image board a few times in the past 6 years? They don't go hunting down every retard on /pol/.
>>364693>People who are concerned for the personal anonymity are right to be concerned, but a person I interested in going to a meetup in the first place would already come to terms with that plausibility.Pretty much. But you are now acknowledging there is at least SOME risk to it.
>for no real reasonI mean, we had the FedEx happening. If the other shooting hadn't occurred shortly after. Who knows what would've happened.
We also had the CP spam and "on-defense of the pedo" style threads.
>364694You are not really helping your case.
>>364696Hold up, I'm just kinda drunkenly browsing most of this this conversation. FedEx happening? Shooting?
>>364693>What would the antifa types even probably do?Take pictures of your face and dox you. That is the threat they pose, but I don't think it's a major threat. Like I said this site is pretty obscure and not everyone who posts here is even natsoc so there is plausible deniability for anons.
>>364698Why Yes ANONS We Are All For THE CURRENT THING.
>>364698They might dox you on the basis of you having used /mlpol/ at least once in your life.
>not everyone who posts here is even natsoc so there is plausible deniability for anonsThis is the bigger concern, particularly for artists who have other connections in the pony community. MKkogwheel used to post here frequently, but his New Zealand flag made him stand out and derpibooru assholes started harassing him off-site.
(Also part of why we need to give OPs the option to hide all flags in pony threads, ffs. Weren't we going to implement that years ago?)
I don't think any other anons would have issues though. Visiting an edgy image board isn't exactly a reason for people to target you unless you're already horse famous.
Shit like this is why I'm uncertain as to whether I ever want to see you fucking people again. CP spam, arguments about whether anonymity is a good thing on a literal anonymous imageboard...who the fuck are you people?
Forget it. If this place becomes a CP den and r/The_Donald shillspace, whatever. I'm ally-ooping here.
>>364706There are to parties here, one pushing the anons to dox themselves with manipulative ideas, and the second one with common sense concerns. The choice is crystal clear.
>>364709
...
Yeah I'm done here.
>>364702That's not what he said tho.
>>364706<TL:DR>bots and shills were pedoposting and CP spamming.>They've done it before in other sites.>Probably trying to get clothflare to drop them.>Applejack fag shoots up FedEx people.>Unrelated shooting happens, and everyone forgets about the AJ fag.In short, to claim there's no reason for the "paranoia" is kind of disingenuous.
>>364697>FedExSome retard posted on facebook about how he wanted to be with his waifu, Applejack, in the afterlife. He later shot up the FedEx facility that he worked at, Randy Stair style. It happened several years ago.
A lot of bronies were probably sweating bullets because it would have given the mainstream a blank check to pathologize and fuck with random horsefuckers because bronies in general are an extremely easy target for normies.
IIRC, it blew over after the next mass shooting.
Anyway, I don't trust anyone that would want to meet racist horsefuckers IRL. This practically has "honeypot" written all over it. Call me paranoid, but don't pretend that my paranoia (common sense, really) isn't 110% justified.
Do you really want to risk ruining your life and potentially your family's lives as well just for the chance to maybe sperg irl with some nerd?
>>364716If you don't want to do it, just don't go. Don't discourage other anons from having fun.
>>364733If they really want to go, they'll go regardless. There's nothing wrong about voicing some concerns.
Honestly I think the paranoia is more destructive to the community than small probability of being doxxed. Yes there is a risk and some of the paranoia is justified, but I don't think it is very likely.
I'm not going to repeat my reasoning like a broken record. If a few concerns shatter your will to meetup. Filter me and the other Anons. Unless you want to get the mods involved because people are making you feel uncertain about your retarded party.
Certain Anón is pretty damn worried about "paranoia" destroying the site. Such claims are bound to get the mods attention Just saying, you can filter any poster you want.
>364842
You yourself have complained about Anons discouraging others to meet up. Again, if your will to go to a retard party is shattered by a few concerns. Filter down.
>>364844I wasn't going in the first place. I just think it's really cringe to complain almost endlessly about other Anon's meetup plans, to the point of thread derailment.
>>364843>bound to get the mods attentionThe mods already know what's going on. No action has been taken. Relax. If you care so much about it, take it to /qa/.
>I just think it's really cringe to complain almost endlesslyYour ID has like eleven posts complaining about paranoia and discouragement.
>about other Anon's meetup plansYou aren't even going and you still decided to guard this thread for some reason.
>Relax. If you care so much about it, take it to /qa/.Not at all. Although you may wanna suggest it to anon here (
>>364826) There has been similar complains in other threads. This thread specifically has been mentioned.
OP here, today I met up with a former /k/ and /mlp/ anon a few miles away. We went to an art museum an hour away in his friend's car with 2 other people and made fun of the modern art, made several non-kosher jokes about the joos and headed back before going out to eat at a local place. Anon had put his email on /k/ 2-3 years ago with my town in the post as he was selling a rifle, no regrets so far reaching out they seem like great guys.
Kansas fag. topkek topeka. I will pay for booze ammo and food if you come bother me. I like to camp as well and would be willing to go just about anywhere. general_management on discord or GeneralManagement on steam Twilight is best pony and I am willing to prove any and all challengers wrong
>>364590found someone who lives a half hour away, but I'm not making a tumblr and they haven't updated their discord since discord updated their username policy.
looked up his username and found his fimfiction but I forgot my login to that fucking website. fun times.
