That's right here we pit Mares and shitposts and gifs and whatever else against each other! By using RNG we can witness the battle occur and with autism, contentfagging, and reinterpretation a story of will and horse pussy is displayed.
Here's how this works.

Get two contestants (ie files, that means Mares)
One location (written or file)
One McGuffin
One Twist of Fate (a theme or half time shake up)
In the thread cross referencing images to other images so an autistic narrative forms.
Roll five, one hundred sided dice. That's the impact felt in the story. That means the health/readiness they are for the Mare Battle Royal. Low numbers are less prepared, High numbers are more prepared.

Go to pony repository of choice that is a 'booru' and click the random button there Five times (or in five seperate tabs). Post the image number a booru nickname/name maybe a short description.
You can include a winner or loser of any previous Mare Battle Royal to face against another. By choice or by RNG of choice.
<What is a Battle?
Just needs to have winning conditions and losing conditions.
Such as trying to get the last carrot at the farmers market, trying to win a game, getting riled up, lyrical demolitions, an adventure or misadventure, getting summoned to a strange new world with someone standing in their way of getting back.
Whatever crazy, mundane story.

Vinyl and Octavia on this special heated occasion knew nothing could possibly go wrong with each other by the other's side, fireworks drowning out the strange noise.
Twilight Sparkle, mare on a mission of knowledge, heading to Rarity because she sent Spike back over because of a strange artifact she found whiledigging mining for gems. Meeting up with Rarity she sees the odd sun dial coated with a luminescent metal held aloft in Rarity's magic.
"Ah, look at what happened to your mane my dear. I'll spruce that right up."
Rarity pulling out her emergency fashion kit brought the brushes to Twilight's mane. An arc of prismatic lighting tore the virgin fabric of space and time a new hole which shot Twilight Sparkle to a land far beyond Equestria. All Rarity could do is watch in despair as her friend fell.
Equestria but is just fucking underwater. Two portals above the endless ocean dropped Twilight and two others.
Humans entwined in passionate kissing, Twilight mouth open about to yell and cold reality rushing to meet them.
Water breaks the lovers, Vinyl Scratch and Octavia's, joining, the mare flails as she trys to stay above the water. Swimming, splashing, and trying to calm down the pony so they could come up with a plan for this sudden and unexpected turn of events.
A rope descends from the human's portal to save two wayward friends.
Octavia and Vinyl grab hold of the rope and the pony who mercifully stops struggling.
Slowly but surely they are raised above the waters, as a breath taking sunset occurs. An orange seapony breaking the water. The purple Equine talking yet nobody except herself understands.
Soon they hear Rainbow Dash and Applejack hefting the rope. A few minutes later. They are infront of the school where they were kissing, with fireworks above.
With an out of place unicorn and a still visible portal to the ocean world breaking normal expectations.
They could all faintly hear "Shoo-bedoo," as fireworks continue.
